    Latte (I forgot the flavor)
    Siri B.

I've been here in fall last year and this place is a less known brunch spot in Saratoga. Didn't expect the food to be so delicious and the experience to be so epic, especially for the seasonal soup priced at $4. The video attached shows the high end experience I got for the fall soup... Loved their coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was nothing special but good enough for a breakfast spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff wasn't super friendly but they were not mean either. They were welcoming. I loved the chef explaining all the ingredients in the soup.

2 creme filled Bomboloni, 1 Sfogliatella, 1 cinnamon roll with vanilla bean frosting
    Shanna K.

We've only tried their pastries so far but Ooooo those bomboloni are good. Big and fluffy and filled with either chocolate or vanilla pastry cream inside. Decadent. My SO also likes the cinnamon roll, with its thick slather of vanilla bean frosting and the crispy sfogliatella is also very good. I'd like to go back and try their brunch and they also have a Dubai chocolate croissant that sounds great. Very friendly staff as well. Always with a smile.

Food, Service = 5; Ambiance = 4 Thanks to Too Good To Go (TGTG) discovered a new brunch place to properly try, especially at a future monthly breakfast date w/Dad. This review was for the THTG bakery goods with a couple of seasonal items. All in house made. The pumpkin cake was super moist, well balanced spices, and perfect sweetness reminding my hubby the childhood cakes his Italian Nanny made from scratch. The remaining pastries were buttery and can enjoy the purity of flavors. Reheating it slightly brings back that freshly baked crispiness. I also ordered a mocha and dirty chai latte to enjoy with pastries at home. Our plan is to enjoy brunch before our next TGTG pick up. Plan for next TGTG

Grilled cheese with pesto, tomatoes, mozzarella and bacon. Yum! French fries were great.

What a great find for lunch ( or breakfast)! The food was fresh, delicious and portions were generous. We each had the melted cheese sandwich with cherry tomatoes and pesto on fresh baked bread. And - excellent bacon as well. Awesome! The French fries were crisp and thin - a real bonus! Fruit was nicely prepared and generous. The owner was delightful and clearly proud of his food. When we heard a customer rave about the almond croissant we decided to buy one - wow! So good. Don't miss it. Definitely going back.

Can't believe that I have never been here, such a cute place right in our backyard. 10 of us met for lunch as one of our high school friends was visiting from overseas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking was easy, the atmosphere was warm, relaxing and intimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We all enjoyed the decor, artwork and excellent service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food choices were pretty good, there were options for smaller portions which most of us can finish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were a little noisy but at no time feeling unwelcomed or pressured to leave.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We certainly had a wonderful time, Loved the food too. A great place to meet friends over an enjoyable meal.

Delicious food with great bread and baked goods! I especially loved the warm chocolate chip cookie. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the café has a lovely vibe -- colorful, bright, and adorned with beautiful paintings and large windows. I ordered the Turkish eggs and absolutely loved them, while my partner had the chicken parm sandwich and declared it the best he's ever had. Vegetarian options are somewhat limited, but everything we tried was delicious.

    Mangia Omelette

This was a pretty solid brunch place we happened to come across after hiking. We got here around 2:30-3PM, so it was an odd time to get lunch or dinner. We just so happened to pull into a parking spot right in front of Mangia Mornings when we wanted to stop and look up a place to eat, so I guess it was sorta meant to be, haha. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is open seating so you're free to sit wherever there's an available spot, but I think you'll have to grab menus from the counter first.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We opted to sit outside because it was a nice and serene day to do so.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My partner opted for a Mangia Omelette with a side of hash brown and sourdough toast. I chose an avocado toast since I wasn't looking for a full meal, so this was enough. My avocado toast came on a big piece of toast, and they're pretty generous with the avocado, although I think it could have used a bit more seasoning. Some of the micro greens were looking wee sad and it was a bit pricey for a piece of toast, but it was good and just the right amount of food I was looking for. My partner thought his omelette was pretty good too. I got to sample some of the hash brown and it was crispy! I'd probably say you'll get more bang for your buck if you go for the other more entree-like items. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a nice place to try out! I'm glad we stopped by for a quick afternoon meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was pleasant and friendly as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the outdoor seating was nicely setup. There's plenty of space between the tables and the sidewalk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Bfast: stuffed French toast and Egg Benedict lox
    Kay O.

I wanted to try something new for breakfast and I found this cute little place in downtown Saratoga. I've only been to La Bella before for brunch, so this place is towards the end of downtown, but still cute. Our server was very friendly and patient- I couldn't decide on what to order. Haha we ended up getting the salmon eggs Benedict and the stuffed French toast with berries. I also got an oatmilk latte. Everything tasted delicious and I was so stuffed I forgot to order a cinnamon roll to go! Hahaha I wouldn't mind going back again and trying something else, but I did like the wooden chairs more than the plastic chairs. Especially since we were sitting for awhile to finish everything up! Haha Oh- I also think the local art for sale on the walls made a cute touch. Plus it allows others to see a new artists as well as giving a forever changing environment within the restaurant itself.

    Almond croissant and artichoke soup
    Kacy O.

Amazing service, nice quiet ambiance and delicious food. Ordered mozzarella, pesto, bacon and marinated tomatoes on homemade bread. Accompanied by side salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Also ordered cup of artichoke, zucchini and eggplant. Friend ordered soup and almond croissant. Everything is fresh, good sized portions and nicely presented. Can't wait to go again.

I would actually give this place a 3 star but the staff were really kind. I ordered the double s Benedict which had steak shrimp. The steak was flavorless/unseasoned and had a sour taste. The hash brown was too fried/oily. It taste just like fried oil and less potato [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had intended to sit and work on my laptop but was disrupted by ladies claiming they reserved the room for bridge and asked me to move.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was happy to move to a different room and didn't mind. Everything else was good [[HIGHLIGHT]]But then there weren't many seats so I just left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will give this place a few more shots by ordering a different Benedict and not planning on working on my laptop :)

Went here for the first time during Friday noontime in July. It is located on the main street across the Plumed Horse. Easy to find parking which is behind the restaurant and also easy to find a table. Catalina, the only waitress that afternoon, was a rockstar taking orders, making recommendations, and serving everyone at their tables (inside and outside). She recommended several dishes and I ended up choosing the Double "S" Benny with a side of fruit and a vanilla latte with oat milk. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was initially inside but it was a bit noisy so I was able to switch to an outside table in front of the restaurant which was much nicer with the shade and fresh air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Catalina must have stopped by my table several more times as I was outside to serve my meal and also make sure I was okay. She also gave me another latte because she realized that the first one she gave me while I was inside was a regular latte as opposed to a vanilla latte. That's why I knew her name; I wanted to make sure I acknowledged her and thanked her properly for her attentiveness and for her great customer service. When she gave me the bill she said I could either pay at the register or pay by scanning the QR code, so paying was convenient. With the great food and service, I give it 5 stars. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We went for breakfast, 3 of us, no reservations needed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were instructed to seat ourselves , chose a window table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server greeted us and took our drink orders first, good coffee! we ordered, blueberry pancakes, french toast and croissant sandwich with fresh fruit.we would come back to try other things on the menu- prices are not out of range .[[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a little noisy because we were between two louder groups of people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and making a reservation about a month in advance definitely paid off since the restaurant was packed. For starters, we ordered the fried chicken & cornbread and the summer peach salad. The chicken and cornbread were easily a 10/10 super crispy, well seasoned, and the cornbread was rich and buttery. The peach salad with friend goat cheese (YUM!) was really fresh and bright, a nice lighter dish to balance out everything else. I also had a glass of rose. For mains, we had the Prime Ribeye and the 7oz Harris Ranch Prime Filet, both cooked exactly how we asked and full of flavor. We shared a bottle of Duckhorn cab, and I appreciated that their wine list felt reasonably priced for the quality. We corked what we didn't finished and took it home. The only slight downside was our table being in a bit of a funky spot along a walkway, but service was attentive enough that it never really became a problem. Overall, I'd absolutely come back, and next time I'm saving room for dessert.

For main course I had the miso cod and it was tender and very flavorful- the miso saturated the entire fish. Going forward I would have ordered a vegetable to pair with it. My husband ordered the duck and that was a bit disappointing. They hadn't rendered the fat properly so the skin was chewy rather than crisp. The duck was slightly on the tough side. On a very positive note, the wines are market price rather than the large markup you see in most restaurants. The chocolate cake was overly dense. Also, the manager came around to check up on us, to make sure we didn't have last calls right before the kitchen closed. That was considerate. We decided on ordering the... Grilled Pork Chop: bourbon marinated grilled peach compote, peach, red onion & tomato salad (4/5). The presentation was gorgeous. A Sous vide pork chop with grill marks cooked to a medium temperature. Savory and complemented with the tangy, spicy, and tart salad. A tad heavy handed on the salt for the sauce, otherwise, it was still delicious. Gnocchi Ragu: lamb bolognese, pecorino (4/5). The meat sauce was delicious. The gnocchi itself was sizeable and decent. Fries (4/5) - medium shoe string cut fries that were hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. So fresh and right out of the deep fryer. Parkside Bread Pudding: vanilla gelato, pecan praline (4/5). This was delicious. Therese was told by the kitchen staff that they unfortunately ran out of the pecan praline when she brought it out. Ordered: 1) Garlic Bread: 5/5 - Tasted super fresh and garlicky without too much cheese, exactly the way I like it. 2) Walnut Pesto Linguine: 2/5 - It sounded super interesting, so I ordered it. First of all, the dish didn't look appealing at all. I get that it's called walnut pesto, but there were way too many walnuts. As for the pasta itself, it tasted very bland, not flavorful at all. My friend and I ordered the same dish and we both felt the same way, couldn't get past 2 spoonfuls. 3) Pasta Primavera (white wine cream sauced swapped for pink sauced - red and white combined): 5/5 - ordered this for my 5 year old, and omg it was amazing and full of flavor. 4) Burrata Pizza: 5/5 - A very interesting combination of toppings. Not soggy or dry - it was good. 8) Brownie Sundae: 3/5 - I had a lot of expectations for this one, but it turned out to be meh, the brownie chunks should have been warm; instead they were pretty hard in texture. They should have warmed it before serving it with the gelato. The taste was good though. Definitely coming back, but I would stick to ordering pizza or the pasta primavera next time. The pizza, bread, etc. were super fresh, and you could feel that in every bite. The ambiance is awesome, you could come here for special occasions with friends and family. The…read moremenu was a little overwhelming but also fun with a whole section of special menu items Yellowstone/Dutton Ranch themed. Sitting outside was great even at night with nice touches such as hand warmers to warm you up! Dishes were small dishes/tapas style but fun to share. We had the grilled half artichoke, loch duart scottish salmon, KFC, it's carrot rice, fries and Beth's hand pie. The salmon was cooked nicely preserving the juiciness with some tangerine wedges for added acidity. It's carrot rice was unique in that it was like a texmex porridge (this doesnt sound appealing but it was delicious), the various dips that accompanied the grilled half artichoke and fries were good too! Lastly didnt think i'd be impressed with the KFC but it was well seasoned and came with fun sauces. However the 5/5 stars is really for our waiter that evening Andres! Right off the bat seating us at the table he came full of humor, great jokes, and genuinely warm service. Throughout the night he was thoughtful in his timing with service and always came in with a new witty joke! It felt like we were regulars at this spot despite it being my first time. Highly recommend Orchard City Kitchen for a great meal!

I was looking for a restaurant to have a nice birthday dinner for my husband. ASA Los Gatos was…read morebookmarked for a long time... so long that I had forgotten it was even on my list. I was able to make a last minute reservation without having to commit to a deposit, which was a breath of fresh air these days. After our great experience I regret not trying the restaurant sooner, but hey, better late than never. I made reservations for 5pm on a Friday. There was ample parking at the private lot since it was still early. ASA had a pretty interior with a relaxed upscale atmosphere. Overall customer experience was exemplary. Employees were very friendly and courteous, and the wait staff was especially attentive. Also appreciated that our food came out in a timely manner. We shared the king trumpet mushroom appetizer, arrabiata pasta, and the Argentine steak, which was the perfect amount of food. Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The appetizer surprised me the most with its uniqueness. The mushroom stems were cut paper thin and had the slightest essence of smokiness. Loved the chickpea puree. The Argentine steak was perfectly medium rare, and the meat itself was so tender. The fries were excellent. The fries were made the way I love them - light, airy, and crispy. Addictive and hard to resist. Lastly, the arrabiata pasta was solid. I did think the pasta was cooked 30 seconds too long, but the sauce really made up for the dish. The arbol chili and fresh garlic packed on some heat. We look forward to coming back for the steak and to try the mushroom rigatoni that everyone raves about!

Came to ASA on a Sunday evening. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so I was expecting a pretty…read moresmooth dinner, but the experience ended up being a little uneven. We ordered the beet salad, mushroom rigatoni, Paella Valencia appetizer, and hand-cut New York steak. The Paella Valencia was the clear standout. It was the most cohesive and well-executed dish we had, with good flavor and texture throughout. This would be the one thing I'd order again. The beet salad was where we ran into the biggest issue. We specifically told our server about a peanut and tree nut allergy, and he acknowledged it, but the salad still came out with pistachios on top. They remade it, but the replacement portion looked noticeably smaller and less composed than the original. The first one had a nice amount of height and presentation, while the second felt a bit sparse. Given that the remake was due to an allergy mistake, that was disappointing. The mushroom rigatoni didn't really land for me. The pasta wasn't al dente, and the dish tasted more like garlic pasta with a large amount of mushrooms placed on top rather than a mushroom forward pasta where the flavor was actually built into the sauce. Not bad, just not particularly cohesive or memorable. The New York steak was seasoned well, but the cook was inconsistent. We ordered medium rare, and some parts were closer to that than others. It was a thick cut, so I understand there's some difficulty in getting it perfectly even, but at this price point I still expected a more consistent temperature throughout. Our server was pleasant, but check-ins were sparse, and we waited quite a while at the end just to get the check and pay. Again, this was on a Sunday evening with plenty of open tables, so there wasn't an obvious dinner rush to blame. Overall, ASA has a nice atmosphere and the paella was genuinely good, but the food execution and service were inconsistent enough that the dinner didn't quite meet expectations

The Westholme Wagyu was the showstopper -- that filet with the au gratin potatoes and cremini mushrooms is worth every penny of the occasion you invent to justify it. The Steak Diane was right there with it; the brandy-mushroom cream sauce is the kind of thing you keep going back to with a spoon after the steak is gone. Mongolian Beef was excellent too -- the shaved filet with the garlic chips and slaw had a nice bit of brightness against everything else. And the lobster mac and cheese. I don't need to explain the lobster mac and cheese. Then we ordered four desserts. Yes, four. For two people. The chocolate decadence, the butter cake, the gluten-free torte, and an affogato. No regrets. The butter cake with the strawberries was my favorite, but I was outvoted at least once. Our server JP was fantastic -- attentive, warm, made the whole night feel like an event without ever hovering. Genuinely made the evening. Perfect place for a celebration. We'll be back the next time life gives us an excuse.
