And it is perfect thank you to Ronnie and thank you to VOUS Salon for squeezing me into his busy schedule so appreciated.!

I went in as a walk-in client, and although they seem to thrive on regulars, they were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Considering it was a Friday they had a few clients in chairs... I had to wait a bit, but it was well worth it. I got my color done by Maggie and she did exactly what I wanted without fuss. She was multi-tasking with other clients but I never felt forgotten. She checked on me regularly to bring magazines or anything else. I got my hair washed by Eduardo. The neck and head massage were much appreciated after a long work week. My haircut was done by a gentleman who was a pro. I'm sorry I didn't catch his name. And when styling they only had to ask a few questions and immediately concocted a fun boisterous hairdo with soft curls. They use stellar products and so even though my hair doesn't like to hold curl, it did so all night long, at the club. Truly couldn't be happier. My hair is healthy and shiny and now I have a spot within walking distance to go to get styled when I'm off for a night on the town. STOKED. P.S. My male friend got his hair done and he's super picky. They use straight edge raisers (like he likes) and he was very impressed with their skills.

I have tried to get this look a few times in the past and was never satisfied. But Benito made it happen! My kids wanted new haircuts to kick off the school year. The change was gonna be a drastic one and I was super nervous they would not be happy and not feel confident on their first day back to class after a year and a half of online learning. What a relief! They got exactly what they wanted, and they were oozing with confidence. Thank you Benito!

My colleague recommended that I see Benito Barron. Little did she know that he does NOT have the…read morelicense to practice cosmetology in Illinois -- and I was about to pay for his lack of credentials. At my appointment in December, Benito acted unprofessionally and ruined my hair. He put bleach and heat on my already-bleached hair, then left the salon and locked me inside. Twice. Later, he took a shot of liquor and continued to smoke and drink throughout the rest of the appointment. Benito's treatment of my shoulder-length hair resulted in my hair breaking off just an inch below the scalp in some places and falling out altogether in other places. He demanded that I pay an additional $50 for the products that he used during the appointment. Due to his inebriated state plus his aggressive language and disposition at this point, I did not feel as though I could safely refuse or negotiate what I owed despite being completely dissatisfied with the service and outcome of the dye job. After all this, they ignored my calls and messages when I tried to call back to discuss the incident. Within days of my appointment with Benito, I sought out several other professional opinions. The only option was to get a pixie cut. I am deeply troubled by Benito Barron's actions and I am very concerned on behalf of his current and future clientele that he is continuing to practice cosmetology despite his questionable business practices in addition to not having the proper credentials or continuing education required by the Illinois state licensing agency.

I also let her know that I've been trying to grow out my hair so she took a small amount versus other hair stylists I've been to will take off an inch or more without telling you. Not only is she a great listener but very sweet. She always makes sure I like the end result of my hair. The salon is in a great location that makes it easy for me to get there from the loop on the brown line exiting off Armitage. Their website makes it easy to book your next appointment. I really like the atmosphere at the salon, it is very clean and plays great music not too loud. The washing station is towards the back of the salon next to a fireplace which makes it very cozy. I highly recommend Salon Shiloh but specifically Simone :) I can't wait to see her again!
