I chose Dazzle Dry polish which, as you can see, dried streaky. My cuticles are a mess, dry and unfinished, the tops of my nails are slanted, and the shape in general is a tragedy. Came in for a signature pedi a few weeks ago and then a dazzle dry mani last week. The pedicure was nice. My tech used the watermelon scented packs to make the water fizz and for the scrubs and lotion. Everything smelled so yummy and she made my toes look fantastic tho they did start to chip pretty soon after. My dazzle dry mani was where they lost some stars bc it wasn't as opaque as I would have liked it to be and after a week of hand washing at work, the color seems to have faded?? Maybe that's the quality of the polish and not the actual application by the tech, but not the happiest I've been with a mani. I do love the aesthetic of the shop though! I usually go to the Wellesley location and have been very happy there. I find the staff to be friendly, the store to be clean, and my experience to always be relaxing -- and cover protocol in place. My recent visit to Burlington was less than ideal. The store was completely crowded with clients not wearing masks after their makeup applications while they sat/walked around from station to station with their friends between hair, nails, and makeup -- clearly there was a group of ladies together, but I was disappointed to see that they were allowed to idle after their services were finished, without wearing masks, and walking about (really like they owned the place). Staff did nothing to stop this. Additionally, there was hair everywhere --- on the floors, in the pedicure towels, on surfaces. This visit was at 10:00am. I'd expect after being open for only an hour that the store location would be cleaner. Not all areas were being wiped down between clients. I saw one makeup station was completely wiped down between guests, but not the other one. Even during non-Covid times, I find that unsafe. I went in with a friend for pedicures at the same time, our services didn't start together, which caused one of us to wait while the other finished. The check in and polish selection areas were completely crowded. All in all, I find it hard to believe that the Burlington location is large enough to hold the number of people - staff and guests - that I saw at one time, given the Covid protocols that should be in place. Adding insult to injury, I had to go to the Wellesley location the next day to have my pedicure fixed, because I was instructed to put my shoes back on too early, and my polish wasn't yet dry. I won't be back to Burlington. read more

My first time at this salon was 2-3 weeks ago and I was genuinely looking forward to this visit but left with mixed feelings. I came in AFTER the lady next to me (2 seats away-distanced) and I took some time choosing my gel polish before getting seated. The session felt very rushed and very regular/plain (I expected more from this salon based on website description and price). I ended up done with the session BEFORE the client next to me..with the same exact service. Also disappointed that my polish wasn't applied properly on a few nails, not sure how someone would let a client go like this (see picture). I'm not a picky person, but if I was asked to re-do these nails, I would've agreed to. Now I've been looking at them disappointed the 2-3 weeks I've had them because the polish wasn't layered/applied properly so you can see lines distinguishing it. I was offered a free mani session for my next visit, but I still have money left on my giftcard so I will go back just to use it up and avoid coming back. Such a waste of money! Went yesterday for a manicure that was suppose to be 45 minutes and it was less than 20. The manicurist sat down, never introduced herself and just got right to work. It was very rushed and not relaxing at all. When the manicure was over, she just got up and said wait 5 minutes and then you can go. Never offered to take my payment or come back to tell me my nails were dry. The polish job is awful! So much of my nails can be seen, it is not even close to the edges, it has bubbles and is very streaky. I should have listened to and trusted the reviews and saved my time and money. read more

Lucky did a great job w/ my gel manicure. She was through, paying much attention to detail. If you're going to go to Mane and Mani, I highly suggest booking your nail service with her. However, my only "complaint" would be the pricing. My gel manicure cost $42 whereas at another salon more specifically designated for nail care I would have paid between $30-35. Once I've used the credits on my account from buying into a monthly subscription, I will be taking my business down the street, unfortunately. Strictly due to cost. The service here is delightful and the atmosphere is great, but I can't continue to spend "extra" due to enjoying the light fixtures. In the past, I've gotten a few pedicures here which are equally overpriced with a lack-luster massage given. Great concept, just needs a little bit of polishing. read more

WAAAAYYY OVERPRICED. Place is nice and staff are friendly but my god, $ 64 (+tip) for a basic mani/pedi??!! I near fainted when I heard the cost. The worst thing is, as other reviews have said, it's one of the most underwhelming mani pedis I've had. I didn't get a massage during my mani which I don't think has ever been the case, even with the cheapest mani pedis I've had. Even those have had the great massages, wax dips, hot towels... really makes me mad, the more I think about it. To top it off, the paint wasn't great, with the first layer not aligned with the top. I got a mani, pedi, and blowout. The blow out was fine. They have a 3 day no chip guarantee which I'll be using tomorrow. My polish lasted less than 3 hours. The manicure looked like a 4 year old did it. The polish was supposed to be purple - it had black fuzzes in it. The pedicure was ok. One bubble in my toe but no one but me will know it's there. The senior stylists do a phenomenal job. They should have different prices than the new kids. Ask for a senior stylist- you will have a better experience and it's the same price. read more

It did get pretty warm from all of the blowdryers so wear light layers. . It was overall a very nice space. However, I am less than thrilled by my nails. The nail tech who assisted me was very meticulous with the trimming and shaping of my nails but the paint job was bad. She did not paint very close to my cuticles so theres a big gap between my nail polish and cuticles. So it makes it look as if my nails had grown out when I just got them done! Received a gift certificate for the holidays which was great because as a mom I rarely get pampered. Jessie was really nice. I picked her because of the reviews. To be honest, I thought she'd be better. She didn't seem that attentive and hurried through the Pedi. You could barely call what was done scrubbing, exfoliating or massaging. When booking it clearly states the Signature Pedi is 45 minutes. Mine was 35 minutes start to finish. I would think for $42 dollars, you would at least get the time you paid for. I'm disappointed. The ten extra minutes would have meant a lot to me. Maybe some people have all the time and money in the world. But I don't. Needless to say, I will never be back. It's a waste of money. But at least they have tea. So I thought the experience was over after my nails dried but it got worse. As I was paying they informed me their prices had all the sudden gone up, yet when I booked the prices did not reflect as such. They then proceeded to inform me that I could not use the remaining money from the gift certificate to tip Jessie. They gave me the option of keeping the leftover $8 in an account for a future purchase. I informed them that I did not intend on returning and they said oh well. Super helpful and kind staff. However, the quality of the manicure was lacking. I got a french manicure and she asked how thick I wanted the white part to be. I indicated pretty thin. However, all the lines were uneven and didn't even cover the upper part of my nail. Often the white portion didn't reach the ends of the nail. She used a lot of acetone to "straighten" the white line but ultimately removed half the base coat because of it. After my manicure was done, you could easily see a line across each nail where the base coat ended. They also didn't have a light pink tone for the french manicure. They indicated that they lacked what they needed and suggested I just use a very white one, a very pink one, or forgo that layer in general. Disappointed, since the place looks very nice. read more

I normally come to Mane & Mani for blowouts- the outcome is always beautiful each time! However, I do not recommend getting a manicure. This is my second time getting a manicure (gel mani) and as you can tell in the photos it was painted poorly. Some of the paint went on my skin as well. Not to mention I paid $42 for a manicure that looks like it was rushed- the service itself didn't feel rushed, but the result is just awful. I'm disappointed that I wasted my money and time on this manicure because as I mentioned I love coming here for blowouts, so I would expect the same high quality service for manicures, but I didn't.
