The lady that owns it now was one of the stylists there. She is AMAZING. SHe is VERY good at what she does. She is VERY responsive to what you want. And she makes you feel comfortable. Picasso was my barber and left me happier with my haircut than I've ever been in the past at various other barbers. The guy is truly an artist with a professional and personable demeanor that definitely cares about his client's, keeping their best interest at heart. I went in just to get my gel nails removed. I asked if walk-ins were okay and how much it would…read morecost. The price was cheap, but once the lady started, she didn't seem very patient or careful. She began with my right pinky, and almost immediately, she cut me with the machine. A lot of blood came out. At first, it didn't sting too much. She placed a small piece of paper towel on the cut, sprayed some water, and put some powder on it. But soon, the pain got much worse. She continued removing the gel from my other fingers using the machine, sometimes not even looking at what she was doing. I'm honestly relieved that it was only one finger that got injured. The whole experience was awkward. We didn't say anything to each other, and the pain was so bad I was biting my lip the entire time. When she finished, I paid, but I left very disappointed. She never apologized or offered a bandaid l, even after clearly hurting me. I really hope no one else has to go through something like this. Getting your nails done shouldn't come with the risk of injury.

I see Sophea, Melinda, or Monyka and always leave with my nails looking great. They might cost a bit more than another salon, but I'm happy to pay that because my gel manicures have always lasted weeks. The gel removal process is gentle on my nails, they check in to make sure you're happy during the process, and they have helpful suggestions on colors or styles if you're stuck. Would strongly recommend (and do recommend to any friend who asks for a nail salon in the area).
