Let me start off by saying I'm a regular when it comes to services. I've NEVER had a bad service, I've always left satisfied. Katie and her staff are incredibly professional and they're always great about scheduling. When they know they're busy they'll have me book in advance so I can get all of my appointments in. And if they need to reschedule due to a conflict they always give plenty of notice. The Spa itself is very cozy and clean. Heated beds?!?! A revelation. Breath mints for when you chugged coffee on the way into your appointment?! I'm here for it. I love the convenient location and availability of parking - coming from L.A. those are luxuries. The services - I love the sensitive soothing facial! I've fallen asleep with the jelly mask on, I'm not ashamed. It was that relaxing. My husband and I both did a round of peels this past winter and his acne is basically gone, and my maskne dark spots have faded almost entirely. I also want to note that the electrology pricing is very fair! The selection of products is really good! I love Eminence and have been using that brand for a while, but I also love that they carry result driven product lines like PCA. They never get pushy with products but they'll make recommendations based off your skin concerns, and honestly who doesn't love professional skin care advice?! I've been a loyal customer in Burlington for three years, and E has always been my favorite. She's upbeat, friendly, remembers me, and is exceptionally skilled--efficient, professional, and virtually painless. That's why I was both surprised and disappointed to learn today was her last day. She was let go with less than two weeks' notice--not for the quality of her work, but for not meeting product sales quotas. I've purchased annual wax packages for seven or eight years, but this will be my last. Across multiple locations, I've seen a pattern of poor employee treatment. Sales quotas should never come at the cost of retaining top talent. If a company is losing great employees like E over product sales, the problem isn't the employees--it's leadership. If European Wax continues to prioritize short-term sales over long-term customer loyalty, it won't just lose great employees--it will lose customers like me. By the way, my first postpartum wax was a positive experience thanks to E. She is outstanding!
