Wake me up at four as an afterthought when my regular place messed up my appointment. The first time I went they were just closing but we're willing to take us on. Super nice. This time, I showed up without an appointment just to see if they could come and do my pedicure. And they good. It was quiet too. One other patron that was it. They're very nice here. The young girl that took me down for my pedicure was really really sweet. She did a good job. She's going at getting out ingrown toenails. Wow. I feel feet felt so much better afterwards. My nail polish looks fabulous as well. She did a really nice job on a pedicure. The only downside to that I see? It's super super super cluttered in there. I Two different phones in two different random places. A used mask on one table and A used glove on the floor. The bathroom had stuff piled high each corner. They could probably benefit from a shelf unit. Or two. Look at it I'll probably be back, but the clutter just bothers me. read more

I have been going to spa and polish for over 2 years. Lyn has given me wonderful service, and mani pedis are well done and perfect. It is a family business, located in the strip mall across from CVS. Once you go there your welcomed by the whole family. I started going because my nails were breaking and very weak, from cancer meds,now I go to get my long nails cut and polished..I give them a great recommendation for being a wonderful place to go with very reasonable prices. read more

Wonderful start to finish! When I made my appointment I said I had never been there before and they made sure I knew exactly where they were located. When I arrived for my appointment days later, I was welcomed by name and the history that they had been there for 12 years and a family run business. I thought that was a wonderful way to start. I had a regular pedicure done there a couple days ago during my lunch hour. Took thirty minutes longer than scheduled because the older technician clearly didn't know what she was doing. Polish was a mess and she ended up cutting the skin on my second toe. Worse pedicure ever. Will not return. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! Worst polish Ive ever got. Cut my nails down so low she was cutting my skin. Globs and globs, layer after layer of polish. And when I asked for a design, she asked me how to do it!!!!!!! seriously had me draw it on a paper. And it still turned out horrible. Just another glob of white and glitter... $15 and it looks like a child painted my toes. I almost didnt pay but there were several customers in there and I didnt want to cause a scene. and throughout the polish she harrashed me about buying other services, wax, nails, and then the design, which I wish I never agreed to. My last visit was pleasant, it was a young girl, and she did a good job. I'm not sure I'll be going back here. read more

I would not recommend getting acrylic nails or fill here. I have been twice and to a different tech each time and my nails looked terrible afterward. Thick, lumpy, bad shape, too wide, etc. They did not take their time and did not buff and file my nails down at all. My nails look truly awful and like they were done by a very inexperienced technician. read more

I have been here several times (read 5X) and each time the service has not been consistent. I have gone only because their prices where reasonable compared to other places, but what is being charged now makes the level of skill unacceptable. Polish streaks, or is applied not to the corners of the nail. Some polishes just bubbles. I will not be back because I feel I was ripped off. BTW never get the chair massage it's uncomfortable...the opposite of relaxing. read more

I really enjoy going here to get my eyebrows done, and I have gotten pedicures here before. The atmosphere is warm and positive, and the decorations include some personal touches, which is nice and welcoming. The thing that I find most important about the places I go to-whatever they are, and for whatever reason I go there-are how friendly the people working there are. At Spa and Polish, I am always greeted with smiles and genuine "how-are-you"s (versus a polite but ingenuine greeting) and whoever happens to be helping me out always makes friendly small talk but does not pester me with too many questions or stories of their own, so I can feel as relaxed as I want to be when I visit a salon. It seems to be a family business, and that just adds to the "homey" feeling I get when I go there. Oh, and it's reasonably priced! Eyebrow waxing, for example, costs $10 if you pay in cash, and $12 if you pay by card. Pedicures are somewhere around $25 from what I remember. And they do a good job, so that's all that matters to me. read more

This was my first time here. My first impression was that they were running 30 mins behind even though I made an appointment. I was a tad annoyed until my pedicure started. I'm not sure of the name of the lady I had, but she filed and polished my toes incredibly well. I agreed to come back the following day for my manicure. After all, my pedicure was done on Christmas Eve Eve when everyone wants to get in, so I can't ding them too much. The following day I had my previous gel manicure removed and gotten a manicure. I was so impressed with the filing of my nails and the polish. She went above and beyond to recommend a new color and after seeing glitter on her nails, I had to have it as well! All to say, service may be slower than other salons (1.5 hours for mani and pedi vs 1 hour) but the quality of the work is superb! If you have time, this is the place to be. It's not the most aesthetic place, but it's not the worst. Really, all I care about are my nails. Thank you again! read more

THE WORST EVER!! I went in for a fill, with two broken nails. This normally would take an hour tops. I was there for an hour & 20 & finally told him I had to leave (I was on my lunch hour) & didn't have time for him to finish. SO SLOW!! I am very unhappy! While I was in the chair, a woman came in without an appt for a fill & they told her it would be about a half hour wait. She came back in 30 min & sat there for another 20 & still hadn't been waited on. She got up & left.... Not only is their service bad, but, they aren't skilled to my expectations either. I don't expect perfection, but, when one person works on one hand & another person works on my other hand, how can one expect my nails to all look the same? That's right....there was a point in this disaster that the woman was working on my left hand & the man was working on my right. REALLY?!?!? I've never seen such a thing..... I've been here 5x since they first opened and have had a great experience every time, both for manicures and pedicures. (I love the pedicure massage chair - it's soooo relaxing!!). Prices are definitely reasonable and the services I've received have always been very nicely done (although I haven't had anything fancy done, just gel manicure or hot stone pedicure). None of the staff members are too chatty (possibly due to English being a second language), but everyone has been polite and friendly. I definitely recommend it. read more

I called for a price check and if they could take in Walk-ins, and they explained when they closed (earlier than other nail salons I had called) but that I could still get a mani-pedi, despite the local traffic patterns... great service (family run and operated) and true to their word, I was able to enjoy a relaxing pampering. Also, I had pointed out early on that I had broken a toe (indicating which one since it was only tender at 5 weeks, no longer discolored) and never brought it up again, and never experienced any discomfort during the pedicure, though it still pains me to walk/stand!! Perfectly timed to be thorough but efficient (no step was lacking/rushed, no nicked cuticles, polish exactly where it should be on the nails, very professional)... Best my nails have ever looked! I got the shellac done last week. I had been to quite a few other salons for shellac, but this place did the best job on my nails by far. I heard some places use drills to take the shellac off, and the last place I went to made me soak half my hand in acetone to get the old shellac off. (which is not good for you) Well, Not this place. They did it the correct way.... and individually wrapped each nail with cotton and tin foil. My hands get really dry and I have bad cuticles. They shaped and cut everything back to look amazing. AND $22 for shellac - You just can not beat that price anywhere! I live in Haverhill, but work in the area. I'll definitely be making my nail appts. during the week from now on so I can go to spa & polish. Next time I will be trying the hot stone pedicure. The only reason I gave this a 4 star and not a 5 was the actual salon itself. It seems to be very clean, but in comparison to all the other salons I have been to over the years, this one was small, nothing fancy about it. The salon is top notch and you can't find anyplace better to relax and have quality manicures, pedicures, facials and waxes.
