My favorite nail salon! Been going for years. Ryan the owner and his staff are super friendly and kind. They even give you a little shoulder massage for both manis and pedis. Recently rennovated as well so the place looks brand new. read more

Nobby Nail & Spa - Gel manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Burlington, Massachusetts

Disappointing. This was my second attempt at Nobby for a dip manicure. The first time two of my nails chipped within a few days, however they fixed them free of charge. The pictures show my nails after one day. Cracks everywhere. I don't have much hope that they will last long... read more

Have gone to this nail salon for the past few years. They used to give your pedicure attention & service was good. Today I went for pedi and it was party of 2. Seemed a busy day due to holiday coming up but last time there, no holiday and lack again in service and time taken in the pedicure. I've taken my teen with me last couple times and again today. Last couple times, they seem to not do steps they do in a full pedicure when it comes to her? And I'm paying adult price? Why? They also rush the service. I know they work off a timer but they seem to keep working fast to get you out and therefore not doing the stone rub, leg rub or oil on nails etc. And they seem to just touch your toe nails and go through the step but not actually do it. Like touch nails with the cotton ball with alcohol but only do one toe? And touch the rest going through the motion only. Today, was last attempt and thought maybe they're busy last couple visits so I'll try again. No foot massage for the teen, stones were not hot and that lasted 30 seconds each leg. The lady put the new heel pad on her tool and literally touched my heels for 5 seconds. I kid you not and then peeled it off tool tossed it. I never soaked feet until after she already started filing. She also wanted to paint my toes with my sandals on. I said no I'd like the slippers. She never put the tissue to spread my toes either and my baby toe nail is barely painted. My teen got slippers and tissue. Lol. Absolutely zero relaxed feeling or atmosphere. I felt a rushed vibe moment we sat in chairs so I put the timer on. Boom 20 minutes start to finish. Is that normal? Come on now. I didn't tip, nope. I usually do even if bad service but this time, nah. Paid and left. The guy at register literally came out to my car to ask about a tip. I said for what? 20 minutes? No thanks. I won't be back. And I'll say most times I've gone it's me plus my one or two teens. That's not cheap and I understand they are providing a service but I also expect they stop skipping steps and actually give time to a customer. Don't take people in if you're busy or don't want to offer the service in full. read more

They try to upsell every time, especially on the pedicures. They hand you a menu with a list of expensive pedicures. But they don't tell you that the classic pedicure is an option. I got the classic pedicure. It was 20 minutes and $35. They barely exfoliate the calluses on your heels.the place is clean. The vibe is good. They took me on time. Overall, I would not get a classic pedicure there again. read more

I had a payment issue that I spoke with the owner about earlier this summer. They were great to me the whole time. I ended up letting them know I wasn't charged twice like I thought. Every time I get my nails done here it's so relaxing the whole experience and the owner is so professional and nice. I like every single person there who has done my nails!! Prices are a tad high but well worth it. Fantastic pedicures and manicures. For the past few months I have been getting uv gel manicures and am a huge fan. I have sensitive nail beds and they do not hurt at all. They last 3-4 weeks whereas gel polish lasts me 2-2.5 weeks, regular polish 1-2 days. Oh and the free massages "ahhhhh, the best"! Time and time again, going to Nobby Nails is a great experience. The staff is friendly, professional and does a great job on all services: nails, manicures/pedicures & waxing. They generally don't have too long of a wait and finish off with a pleasant, relaxing neck rub. You just can't go wrong. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely stop in. read more

I went once and they cut my cuticles so short they bled. I tried later thinking a different staff member may do better, but they did the same thing and filed my nail bed so thin my nails broke the next day. Literally the worst place to get your nails done. read more

Another awful experience at Nobby nails unfortunately. Service was horrible! The gentleman doing my nails never asked me what kind of pedicure I wanted & he rushed through the entire service -- they came out terrible. When it came time for the neck & shoulder massage he rested his hands on my neck without moving them & had a conversation with his coworker.. awkwarddd... I used to love this place but unfortunately most of their good nail techs have left. My last 3 experiences were equally as awful I kept going back hoping it would improve but I'm bummed to see that wasn't the case -- time for a new nail place!! read more

My first review on Yelp and it's a 5 star one yet deserving 10 stars I went for my first time to Nobby to get a manicure and it was amazing As a set down I was assisted by sweet girls one massaged my back as the other one gave me an assortment of polishes on a sampler frame to choose from Her name is Jane and she's one amazing professional Very attentive and gave me an outstanding gel mani which included an exfoliation, a paraffin treatment accompanied by another back massage and a hand massage It was heavenly. Peaceful and clean place I have made appointments for a facial with Lily and a pedicure with Jane for next week. I loved the manicure with Jane and will be going back for more. Outstanding. read more

I have been going to Nobby Nails for a few years now but it is under new ownership. Ryan does my nails and I am happy with the service.

I was nervous looking for a new salon after my normal lady left where I normally go. My friend recommends Ryan at NOBBY nail and within the first 10 minutes I knew I had found my replacement. He was patient with me, he took his time, and was all around very gentle and kind. The salon was very spacious and clean as well! Highly recommend this salon and Ryan! read more

I have been looking for a good nail salon ever since my main girl Amy moved away from the Stoneham. I have searched in every price range. This was amazing!! It took 2 hours for a pedicure and manicure and Tina paid very close attention to detail and gave me the best pedicure I may have ever had It's a little pricey but we'll worth the money. I got the lavender pedicure and a manicure. I really could've used a nap after, I was that relaxed. Not to mention I love the way the owner is with his employees. I've been some upscale places and the owner was so cold and mean it was almost uncomfortable. And was the same with the clients. Try this place. They are awesome! Check out the cuticles!!!! read more

I have been going to Nobby Nails for over a year. I absolutely love them there. I do UV gel nails, with the sculpting gel, and I never have broken nails unless I go way too long between fills. Even when I have had a broken nail, they have been amazing I getting me in right away to fix it. Their pedicures are amazing, and they have done it a great job of implementing safe Covid procedures. read more

They do a good job...but for a second time in my experience here, I find the concept of an appointment is meaningless. 35 min wait.

This is the BEST nail salon in Burlington, and I've been to them all in my search for a salon I can call my "home-base." I have not felt more comfortable, cared about, pampered, and amazed by the professionalism of a nail salon. A++ and a 5 star rating from me! Highly recommended!!! Give them a chance! I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Here are just a few reasons why I love going here: -They let you pick out your nail color without them hovering nearby or rushing you. -They use a new plastic liner for each customer's pedicure. -They use paraffin wax to soften your hands and feet, even in the basic mani and pedi. -The manicure comes with a complementary massage while you're sitting in the chair. -So professional and nice. It never feels like they are talking about you to their co-workers. read more

Made an appointment for 5:30 today, arrived early at 5:25 as I value their time. By 5:52 i was still waiting. I was fuming. It's beyond rude to make someone wait like that. The woman next to me said she had a 5:30 apt as well. I needed to leave, I paid a babysitter and wouldn't be back in time for them to leave. A waste of my time and money. I won't be back. I use to buy my family gift cards for there as it's close to our home and I will never be doing that again either. Hopefully they will learn to value others time. read more

After a long search for a great salon, I've finally found it! I got a mani/pedi with my mom and we were both really pleased with the experience. The salon is very clean and uses tub liners for the pedicures which I'm a huge fan of. They give a leg massage, and put a bag (full of warm gel?) under your foot on your heel while they paint your nails. Sounds weird but it was nice. During the mani they give a hand massage then dip your hand in a different warm gel or wax and let it sit in a bag and mitt as your technician gives you a neck/shoulder massage. I think this is supposed to moisturize your skin maybe. Both my finger and toe nails came out very nice! They give another neck massage as your nails dry. Would definitely recommend, and I will be going again soon! read more

I normally never leave reviews but for this nail salon I had to. My Mom and I went to get out nails done here her nails chipped after less than 24hours! Then my REAL nail on my ring finger came completely off when my nails chipped after only about 4 days! I also got a regular pedicure. No gel nail polish just regular paint and the employees made me wait and "dry" my toes for 30 MINUTES! My toes were clearly dry and they got mad when I asked to leave because I had somewhere else to be. They are very overpriced for the quality of nails you get. read more

My favorite nail salon in the area. I usually make an appointment, but the long is never long for walk-ins!! Super comfortable atmosphere and lots of colors to choose from. I love that when you pick out a color for your toes, most of the polishes have numbers to correspond with the Gel polish to match for your finger nails. And I love that they give you a shoulder massage while your hands dry. I've never had a bad experience here. One time I hit my nail on a door and it broke the day I got them done, and when I went in the next day they fixed it for free, and they were super friendly and understanding. I really recommend you give them a try!! Other nail salons in the area just don't live up to this place. read more

Like other reviewers mentioned, the prices are a bit higher here than other nail places. That said, I appreciate that they're usually able to take walk-in appointments, there is always plenty of free parking, and the salon is pristine. The back and shoulder massages are pretty nice and so is the paraffin wax. The color choices are not the most diverse, but very trendy and they have the up-to-date collections and colors. They're also nicely organized. The rewards club is probably worth it if this is your regular place. I can make a gel mani last a decent amount of time when I come here. Good consistency with their services. read more

I went for the first time today, very accommodating with appointment time! Staff was friendly and they do a nice manicure & pedicure! I tried out this nail salon and honestly they did an okay job and it seemed cleaned. But, they entire time I was getting my nails done they didn't speak to me. There were about 4-5 employee's present and only 1 other customer. The employee's all spoke to each other and never initiated conversation with myself or the other customer. It was extremely uncomfortable and rude on their part. I think the management was disrespectful in the fact they allow this to happen. I asked after about a half hour what language they were speaking and he answered "Chinese". I was trying to hint that they were rude not speaking to me or our native language "English". I won't go there again for this fact. TOTALLY UNCOMFORTABLE AND RUDE STAFF!!!! Simply, you get more customers with honey not sour behavior. read more

I normally go to a different nail salon but the owner and wife had a baby. I read the reviews before hand and wished I experienced the good reviews they received. I went for a dip mani and had James as a nail technician. He was so rude! The entire time he yanked, pulled, or pushed my hands/fingers to whatever position he needed them to be. When he asked if I wanted my nails cut, I let him know I liked them short because of what I do for work. After he cut them he asked if the length was ok or if I wanted them shorter. I told him a little shorter if he could or he could file them shorter if he wanted. He yelled "whattt I can't make them any shorter. Ok then why did you ask? When it came to washing my hands, I was glad the appointment was almost over. He had the towel in his hands and when I went to get it from him because I thought he was handing it to me, he slapped my hands away! I think James needs to work on his customer service skills. He made what was supposed to be a relaxing experience the absolute opposite. read more

I happened upon this spa by chance and am so happy I did! The staff was incredibly friendly and pleasant. The facility was very clean, well lit AND well ventilated! I hate when you can hardly breathe at a spa. The equipment was nicely maintained and again, clean. I am not from this area but am definitely going to make this my new place! read more

I love this nail salon! The basic pedicure is the least bit basic. It includes hot towels, hot stone massage, paragon wax treatment for heels, and exceptional service!!
