I've heard so much about this place; this salad place that is managed & owned by 2 sisters. Once I saw their pink food truck in Vieux Montreal and then I decided to try their salad place. There have a small terrasse, perfect for a sunny day. When you enter to order your salad you just feel hit by a retro mood. Design wise, the PLACE IS AMAZING ! The salads aren't that good. I will tell you why later on. They have a small counter to order on the go, with fresh juices, fresh drinks , organic tea, small cookies... The pineapple Wallpaper print, the frames on the wall, the design of the chairs and tables , the colors of the place, the chesterfield blue couches gives this restaurant a tropical and very calm and modern touch. The outside terrace is very nice, they use french chairs that are very confortable, small fer forgé tables, they even have a small spot for dogs on sherbrooke street. For what we ordered, their ready made salad , i was very disappointed, a salad at baton rouge is even better. Tones of romaine lettuce, you can see the bowl, it is all green. I had an asian salad , and my mom had a mexi salad. The only asian ingredient in the asian salad are the uncooked ramen noddles ( the ones you get for 1$ from the grocery store and boil them at home) and the sauce. The mexi salad had the usual beens and corn and pieces of tortilla. The concept of the 2 sisters is very creative and the design is at its top. The idea of having a salad place is also a great idea, giving the fact that everybody is on a diet these days. But personally, I am disappointment of the salads. I do suggest they add more ingredient and get even more creative with the recipe. To watch out for the coming year for improvements!!

I've got nothing bad to say about this place at all Was staying in Montreal downtown area for several days where there's a ton of heavy (but delicious) foods. Mandy's was a lovely light vegetarian meal in between all of that to keep us feeling refreshed. Great cookies, as well

Ramen à la Mandy's. The veggie broth was on point!

I'm gonna talk about the ramen here today, but just to get it out of the way, the salads and other soups are excellent. I found the December salad in particular to be a nice surprise! But, I'm more writing this review as Mandy's was part of my Ramen Rampage when I discovered that they now offer ramen noodles as a soup option ... effectively putting Mandy's on the NDG ramen map! The nice thing about Mandy's is that the extreme level of customization means you get exactly what you ask for -- no more, no less. This isn't going to be your perfectly authentic Tampopo-level ramen experience, but when you need to eat some kale and carrots but you have a hankering for ramen, you need to come to Mandy's. Build-your-own is the name of the game at Mandy's (okay they have suggested combos too) so just pick a broth (the vegetarian broth is on point!), get some ramen noodles in there, maybe add some protein, pick your veg, and your wish is Mandy's command. I got a boiled egg, mushrooms, and green onion for ramenniness in addition to the broccoli, carrot, and kale for health!

Raw noodles in this horrible salad!

Horrible salad! I ordered an "asian salad" superdry. The noodles looked/tasted like the typical eggnoodles when they aren't cooked!! Supposed to be plenty of vegetables in the salad. Basically just lettuce with raw noodles and a tasteless dressing. They charge you 12 dollar for this crappy salad. Never again! Can not understand how it has so "good reviews"

Can't remember the name but sure was good!!

Great hearty salads. Have tried a few different ones all delicious and most can be altered to be GF!!

Believe it or not this was my first time at a Mandy's restaurant. My nieces Live for salads and I've heard such amazing things about this place for years! So I decided to give it a try.. we took 3 salads 2 water bottles and 1 can of drink and with the tip (15 percent) came up to 80$ lol. I was shocked but honestly the amount of salad you get in that huge bowl is insane! Plus the place is so freaking cute you're literally paying for the experience & yummy salad. At the the end of the day it's just salad! We tried 3 different kinds and they were cute.. nothing I'd go crazy about but I loved the vibe and the service so when I'm in the mood of feeling healthy ish definitely the place to go!

Second time I come here and I've been dying to come back ever since the first! This location seems to be under construction so it's very small with like two tables so I would recommend it solely for pick up at the moment. It had a Wide selection of salads all with exotic ingredients. I got the Asian salad again and loved it just as much as the first time. I LOVE the Asian sesame dressing!!! I have never had mandarins in my salad and I absolutely loved it. The crispy ramen noodles make this salad even better if you like a bit of carbs inside. It's a healthy, filling and 'feel-good after your meal' experience! -K

4.80$ plus tax for an 8oz of so called Latte ... made using a capsule coffee machine ... all of which is drowned in too much milk. Horrible ratio.

Just ordered a salad, started eating it and found this bug inside. Most discusting thing ever

Ordered the Wolf salad via Uber eats ... very average salad. The salad wasn't mixed well and the flavors didn't mesh properly.

I don't recall if music was actually playing but in my head there played a French song I had never consciously heard before. Mandys does this to you. Transcended. We arrived for a late lunch and found ourselves to be the only two dining. The salad menu is extensive. Build your own or culinary masterpieces (if salad is allowed to be considered in the masterpiece category of course) ranged from meat forward to cheese forward and fruit in between. I picked a Man Salad. Plenty of meat including bacon, heaps of vegetables including avocado and a caesar/ranch dressing. I know, it doesn't sound like anything unbelievable when I utter the ingredients, but there's something about how this salad is made -- perhaps with love? It won my heart as I crunched all to greedily on perfectly proportioned -- hefty bowl -- of lettuce and veggies. If you come hungry, you'll leave satiated and feeling healthy! The bowls are truly meal sized. And the sister owners? Well, their radiance beamed on all of the walls too! I sense they're going to be seeing me again!

Freshii is a Canadian-based international fast-casual chain serving healthy foods. There are hundreds of locations in Canada and the US. On the inside and outside of this location, I noticed branding for Yogurty's Froyo. So in addition to salads, wraps, bowls, burritos, soups, smoothies, and juices, they also serve frozen yogurt. They have self-serve machines with 12-15 flavors to choose from. There's also a colorful toppings bar. During our visit, there were 32 candy (and nut) toppings, 4 fruit toppings, and 3 syrups (e.g. chocolate, strawberry). This is a casual place with more of a cafe-type atmosphere than a full-fledged restaurant. Interior seating extends into the back (they have a decent amount) and there's sidewalk patio seating too (that's where we sat). The vibe is comfortable and laid back and the store has a playful, sort of modern and hip feel to it (though this sort of style is getting dated). The menu featured 4 smoothies and 6 juices. Most smoothies were priced at $5.99 each and most juices were $6.49 each. I got a Freshii Vert ($5.99) which is made with chou kale, epinards, ananas, and avocats. In English, that translates to a green smoothie made with kale, spinach, pineapple, and avocado. My friend got the Banane Et Fraise ($5.99) which is a banana and strawberry smoothie. Another friend got a bowl. Everything was made fresh to order so it took a few minutes, but not very long. The lady who prepared our order wrapped everything tightly and securely in plastic wrap which I appreciated. It made transporting everything worry-free. My Freshii Vert hit the spot. It was cold and refreshing. It tasted good and fresh. It wasn't too sweet and had an appetizing, smooth consistency. My friends liked what they got too. Freshii's smoothies come in one size only. I'm not sure how many ounces, but it would be considered a "small" or "medium" by most smoothie place standards. It'd be nice if they offered a larger size. I actually got my smoothie for only $3.99 instead of $5.99 because I noticed the changing section underneath the smoothie menu (it's digital) advertised "smoothie happy hour 2-6pm every day, only $3.99." Our visit was around 4pm on a Friday and the shop had hardly any customers at that time. Both the cashier and the lady who prepared our order for us were friendly. Wi-Fi network is Freshii and password is Energize.

Eating healthy(er) has been a goal recently, so Freshii seemed like a good option. Prices were cheap and there was plenty of choices. You can compose your own bowl with any of their available ingredients. For simpicity's sake we chose the Oaxaca bowl, which contains kale, beets, corn, black beans, avocado and crispy wonton on a bed of brown rice. The bowl was prepared bibimbap style, and everything was drizzled with a spicy yogurt sauce. The ingredients were all very fresh and yummy, but sadly I didn't like the sauce and struggled to finish my bowl. My boyfriend loved it, however - I think its his new favorite thing now. Although I wasn't too fond of the food, I have to say that Freshii's interior was pretty nice. They have nice benches with comfy, colorful pillows, and the decor gives the place a cheerful, youthful vibe.

The server seated us without warning, and when we went to order, each item we requested had run out. No Cuban, no chicken melt, no several other delicious sounding things. She gave us 10 more minutes to look over the menu and come up with a plan B. Truthfully I wanted to jump ship, but couldn't because our drink orders were already in, and I was captain of this gastronomic journey. We'd set sail without proper forecasting! We settled on the baked egg and salmon bowl, neither what we were exactly craving. The baked egg was fairly tasty, a shakshouka-esque experience accompanied by rustic bread for hasty dipping. The salmon bowl was excellent, with delicious dressing, but the salmon portion was oh-so-meager. It made me wonder if the lunch rush had given the kitchen such a beating that they had split my salmon filet in half and served it to me and my neighboring table friend. Check out my photo and tell me if that portion seems right? The lore says Michael Jordan worked his rear off every game because he always told himself there was probably at least one kid in the stands who came there to see THE Michael Jordan. Well this kid in the stands caught Olive et Gourmando taking the night off. There is a risk for peril if you choose this restaurant, especially if you are in Montréal for a limited time!
