The black chickpeas are typically spicy but they toned it down for her and it was perfect. My sampler had six small dishes and a dessert with rice in the middle. It wasn't seasoned or marinated, it was very gelatinous, which wasn't appetizing (especially for non-vegans, which two of us are, who are not used to that, but happy to try it). We also tried a few other pastries like the chocolatine and danishes, which were just as delicious. They sell their pastries frozen as well, and I bought half a dozen croissants to bring back home. The family who runs Parc sans Gluten was warm and welcoming each time we visited. This place is a true gem and whether you're gluten-free or not, it's worth a stop.
