Most things have been decent so far. Sweet and sour pork is cut almost too small. I wish they were a little bigger. Pork Fried rice is good, it has a light flavor so you can mix it with entrees. Meat wontons as well and they are light and flaky. Mongolian beef didn't have a lot of meat but is best with rice. Pork egg roll was tasty and the Fried Dumplings are the style like available in frozen food sections of the store. They can be very busy. read more

The prices have gone up a lot. Much money, Little food. I got an order of snow pea beef yesterday and pork fried rice. The only thing the snow pea beef lacked was meat. Two small bites of beef total. As stated in previous comments, white lady taking orders is about as rude as can be. Should definitely have someone else interacting with customers... We simply wanted vegetables with either general tso or Mongolian sauce on the side and we kept being told "no we can't do that" without being offered any recommendations for our dietary restrictions. Mandarin Wok II was one of my favorite places to go for lunch when I worked near Millington. Service is very prompt, for the restaurant usually fulfills orders within ten minutes. For phoned-in orders, this works out well because it is usually ready when the customer arrives at the restaurant. As for the food itself, all the dishes I had were great. My favorite is the chicken with cashew nuts. Consisting of a blend of chicken, cashews, snap peas, carrots, celery, onions and baby corn in an Asian sauce (probably soy), it is a treat. Mix in the fried rice with roast pork and onions and you have yourself a delicious meal. I recently had this entrée without extra soy sauce, and it seemed to taste better. Of the many Chinese take-out restaurants that I've been to, Mandarin Wok II is one of the better ones. It's definitely worth checking out. read more

The only things I can think of to make it better is giving to go orders utensils and making the dining in experience better. The service is terrible, on several occasions iv been there the owner and wife have been very rude... if you ask them any questions about their food or prices they are immediately offensive and very belligerent... I would not recommend if u are inquisitive. The one in Munford is much better. The wife runs the register then immediately starts dropping egg rolls and other fried food in the grease not once stopping to wash her hands .. if u mention it she becomes irate and her husband becomes aggressive and irritated... they really need a health inspection... if she's not able to understand the health regulations she should not be working very disappointed about my last visit. They are the only Mandarin restaurants in Millington now and they are aware and taking full advantage. So disappointed in the experience... when I was younger they were one of the best around now it's just sad that they feel they can take their customers for granted... they do not deserve the loyalty from the community. Good service, but the General Tso chicken was swimming in so much sweetened sauce, I thought I was eating pancakes. Prepare to scrape the syrup away or go into a diabetic coma. Not exactly clean. The food here is delicious. have tried the Singapore Mei Fun and it is on point, so flavorful and delicious. The House Special Lo Mein is fantastic. We also had the orange chicken and hot and sour soup and both were very tasty. This place has horrible customer service. We went there to order food at 8:45pm. The lady working there immediately started complaining and walked away refusing to take our order. She proceeded to serve herself some food and sat down and started eating.The man working with her tried to calm her down and she continued cursing at us. Needless to say, we walked out of that place. I have NEVER encountered such rude and unprofessional behavior. As we were walking out, a young lady stated that she would stop coming to this place because she(employee) is always rude to everyone . First things first, the food is excellent. I was so excited to finally find a good Chinese place in town. However, after having been there about 6 times I finally decided no more. The female who typically works the front is by far the rudest person I've ever come across in a customer service role. She has been rude every time I've been there and after my experience today, I walked away and decided it would be my last. The whole situation reminds me of the "Soup Nazi" from Seinfeld. I've been a customer of Mandarin Wok II for about 13 years. There are no other delivery options in Millington for where I stay. Over the years the quality has greatly decreased while the price continually increases. Management has changed hands a couple of times and I will admit the quality does waiver from low to medium. But it is not nearly what it was when I discovered Mandarin wok 2 in 2001. It's a small businesses minority-owbed business and I try to support small minority-owned businesses. Unfortunately, the last few times I've ordered from them if they've messed up my order. I have called each time they messed my order up and generally not even apology is offered. The last time that they messed up my order I called asked and them to fix it. The manager claimed she couldn't understand me. But we had a very intense conversation in which she continually rebutted. Everytime I I met her rebuttal with a good point all of a sudden there when her English comprehension skills. After she and I spoke in circles for about 5 minutes I request to speak to the owner. I explained to the owner that I have been visiting his restaurant weekly for over 10 years and over the past 2 months the young lady who took my order messed it up each time but when other people took my order there was no issue. I asked him to make it right by delivering what I ordered. He told me that will be fine but I would have to pay the difference. (I think that was poor customer service because the manager told the owner that that she confirmed my order and then had something other than what I ordered delivered. And the difference in price was so small that it almost seems petty for him to request that.) However as the difference was only $2.36 I paid the difference and the owner delivered the correct meal. Last week when we went to order they did not have a driver which is happened in the past a lot and asked could I pick up the food. When I arrived to the restaurant I did notice delivery driver taking out several orders but thought nothing of it. Today I called to order our usual and was told that a driver wouldn't be in until 4. (I later learned that this was a lie they just didn't want us continuing to order the $5 lunch for delivery.) I was told to call back after 4 when a driver would be available to deliver order. When I called back and for the driver answered the phone and was about to take my order when she saw that there was a note not to deliver to our family. She explained that there was note not to deliver and apologized, appreciate the fact that we tip, apologize again and we ended the conversation. Its messed up that they allowed me to believe that call back later receive dinner crumb their establishment via delivery. When I think of the countless thousands of dollars my family has spent with me in catering parties, weekly dinners, in random lunches and their unwillingness to reward our loyalty by fixing what they messed up; it makes me so upset. I'm not sure if it's because I'm black, or fat, or because the manager is low down, or they just have poor business skills, but either way Mandarin wok 2 will not receive any more of my mind nor any of my family's. Also as the equality is such a crap shoot you never know whether you're going to get hot food or not, whether this sauce is going to be too much or too little, whether there will be meeting your fried rice : I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends or family. read more

Your typical Chinese take out place. I had the vegetable lo mein and sweet and sour chicken with sides of their fried rice. Everything was good except the fried rice. I ordered the Teriyaki Beef combo for dinner and I feel ripped off. Almost $10 and I barely got the amount of food that I would consider a good lunch. This is my favorite place to eat Chinese food! I have been, at various times, practically addicted (and I don't throw that word around lightly; I literally craved the following foods) to their chicken lo mein, chicken chow mein, hot and sour soup, steamed dumplings, moo goo gai pan, General Tso's, and kung pao chicken or shrimp. Every time I go there, I have to battle with myself to keep from ordering only one entree! If you live in Millington, you should really hit this place up. You don't need a buffet to have great Chinese food- in fact, I believe that restaurants like MW II, where the food is served hot and fresh (with obviously fresh ingredients) instead of from under a heat lamp- are far superior; and even if I am wrong about that, the chefs at MW II manage not only a large repertoire but do so with consistent commitment to tasting fantastic. I just learned that they have chicken curry, and I can hardly wait until my next visit to try it! read more
