Great food. Cost appropriate. It just hits the spot. Was so good ate lunch and dinner.

Small family owned place that does a very brisk business! They are very busy every time I go there and there are always the same three people working (one woman, two men) and they are working their tails off the whole time!! Everything I have tried has been real good. I stop in there usually about once a week! read more

This is the best Chinese food around. The braised pork is exquisite. The service is polite and helpful. It has nice ambience. I always enjoy coming here. read more

Mandarin Wok - Ordering area - Chinese Near Me - Munford, Tennessee

Food is decent. Always nice. only problem for when you order ahead your food is almost never actually ready. No inside tables but there are chairs for waiting. And you will be waiting for a moment if people are there, which there usually are. read more

On September 19 around 7pm, I visited Mandarin Wok and ordered the chicken curry. I signed the receipt but accidentally left the tip section blank. The next day, I noticed I was charged $20.27 for what should have been a $16 order. I called the restaurant, and Sophia kindly answered. She invited me to come in so we could resolve the issue together. When I arrived, she patiently pulled out every receipt from that day and worked with me to find mine. At first, my card number didn't match any of the receipts she showed, which made the process take longer. Still, she remained patient, understanding, and determined to help. Eventually, we located my receipt, though it displayed a different card number. Despite the confusion, Sophia contacted their support team, who confirmed that I had been accidentally overcharged. They assured me a refund would be issued within the week and apologized for the mistake. They also promised that if the refund didn't process, I could come back to receive it directly at the restaurant. I truly appreciate Sophia's patience and honesty throughout this experience. It's rare to find businesses that handle situations like this with such integrity. Because of her excellent service, I highly recommend Mandarin Wok and will definitely be returning! read more

I've been going to this Chinese restaurant for as long as I can remember and I've always loved the food and it's always been worth the wait; however if you are in a rush you can go and eat any other of the 15 different restaurants in atoka/munford. Anyways 10/10 love it read more

I have patronized this restaurant several times and I've noticed that when the owner (short Asian woman) would give me back my change, she would short me every single time. I always ask for a recipe because I scan my recipes for Fetch. I have watched customers, before me, not look at their change. They just put their money away. The very first time that l visited this spot l told her she owed me .25 cents. The second or third time she did the same thing. Each time, she never once apologized. She would just opened the draw and handed me my money. Mind you, whenever l go there in person, it's hardly busy so she can't use that as an excuse. Now it's six months later and last night (May 9th, 2026) she does it again but shorted me .20 cents. I will not go back because now l know that she's doing this purposely. Just imagine what her overage is at the end of the month after her doing this to every customer. That money adds up. read more

They was rude like they didn't want my service and they over charged for a small meal and they got my meal wrong. 3 strikes. Will not go again. read more

Adequate takeout Chinese. No complaints. A nice variety of food served quickly and cooked fresh in front of you.

I'M DONE... They WILL NOT fire your food until you've arrived, stood in line with everyone else (whether they've ordered ahead or not), paid then waited while your food is prepared and packaged...even though they offer online and phone ordering. By the way, when you order online, there's no way to pay for your order, so it's pointless. I've suffered this madness at least a dozen times and I've never waited less than 20 minutes, and it's usually 30 minutes or more. The first few times, the wait was bearable but the last 6-7 times I've been, there is ZERO A/C running and it's at least 90°F inside. The place is tiny, so at busy times, you're crammed in like sardines in the desert. Tonight was THE LAST STRAW....after ordering online, showing up at the time the online ordering system said my food would be ready and standing in line for around 20 minutes after that, a woman walked right up to the counter, completely disregarding the line, and was serviced ahead of everyone else waiting who had ordered ahead like her. There were 10 customers (I counted), most of whom by that time had been talking and lamenting about the fact that they had either ordered online or by phone an hour or more in advance. One woman said she ordered 2 hours ahead and still had to wait like everyone else. My recommendation is to either drive to a much better managed Chinese restaurant or cook your own because it will take about the same amount of time. NEVER. AGAIN. ----------------------------------------------------------- ***/EDIT\*** The above was before I had eaten the food, which had actually been consistently mediocre, but good enough to satisfy my family's periodic cravings for Chinese cuisine. I had mistakenly assumed that the food would be at least on the level of the previous dozen+ times I've eaten there. The food was absolutely abhorrent this time. Meat that should be crispy from deep frying was covered in a gluey, doughy substrate. I literally could not imagine the meat being cooked to safe temps with how under the breading was. The sauce had obviously not seen the better part of 60 seconds in even the most sizzling wok/pan...might as well have put the sugar on to melt after the rest came off the heat. I double-down on my assertion that I will NEVER order another item off of their menu. read more

Still a 30 min plus wait after ordering online. I tried ordering 10 mins ahead and 30 mins ahead. Still over 30 mins wait time after arriving. read more

I love the sweet and sour chicken! Though I definitely wanna know what is this "chicken" in the chicken fried rice cuz my cat who eats EVERY human food I give him REFUSED the "chicken" from the rice!! So what exactly is it?! read more

Always happy with my to-go orders. Two criticisms... the restaurant just doesn't "feel " clean (if that makes sense) and the cashier (owner) could really try to be friendlier and more outgoing to customers who choose to spend money there instead of all the other choices, both on the phone when ordering, and when picking up order. Please don't act like I'm bothering you or that you're doing me a favor when it's the other way around. Food: 5 Cleanliness: 2 Friendliness on phone: 1 Friendliness at pickup: 2 read more

Fire sesame chicken. Cooked fresh so you may wait, even if ordered online. Lady at the counter is always nice.

Food is very good and cooked fresh! I love the fried rice and the chicken and they're very friendly!!!

terrible service . They Leave paid for food out of orders and will not refund your money you paid for the missing item but instead offer to give a credit for item on next order, when called in with next order they don't back the credit. read more

It's been a while since I've reviewed on Yelp but I'm back! This new year in the mist of COVID people losing their jobs and just mainly dealing with a new world. Yesterday I decided that I would start holding Restaurant's "Accountable" this year. No longer will I support for half ass food and no longer will I give my very hard earned coins. First up...The Mandarin Wok Many years ago, this establishment was so good. But lately they have hit rock bottom. The food we received yesterday was awful and it showed that they don't care like the use to.My husband had about 5 shrimps in his Shrimp Fried Rice and 4 was playing hide and seek at the bottom of the box. My Shrimp and Scallops was awful and the scallops...I'm sorry what scallops? I'm the daughter of a Commercial Fisherman so I know my seafood. Now let's talk about the Chicken Wings Wow! Never mind,I will just post photos. I ended up cooking my own wings and they were delicious! So,this is a Restaurant I will no longer patronize any longer, enough is enough. My Military neighbors and friends warn me yesterday how the service and food had really fallen off but I wanted to show support to a local restaurant. I should have listen. read more

Food is always good but be prepared to wait a while because it seems like food is not cooked until you arrive most of the time.

Never eat here again! You have to be regulars to get good customer service. I walked in smiling to pick up my order. No smile! Maybe because nevermind ... As I am waiting a guy walks in the lady at the register was happy to see him obviously. She asked how can I help you today with a smile. The food was not so good as well. Rice was matted together. read more

If I could give them a zero star I would!! Always some issue coming here. Tonight they didn't even give me half my order and when I called they just want to talk over you and argue with you! I wish I could give a review of the food but I wasn't going to wait longer than 30 minutes to get my food. Called in the order 20 minutes before I showed up and it wasn't ready. After 30 minutes of waiting a woman walks in, skips everyone, and asks for her take out order. The people at the counter drop everything and get her order ahead of everyone else who had been waiting. I left and went home. Avoid this place like the plague u less you want to wait forever to get your food. read more

Don't eat here this place is a joke. Ordered spicy shrimp and I got a plate full of onions. No masks were used. No gloves. Don't waste your time. read more

The food is not that good. The service is terrible. I called in my order was told 15 mins get there and have to wait thirty mins(it takes me 15 minutes to get to the restaurant). Then I'm watching my food being prepared and one of the dishes I ordered went in the microwave to be reheat three different times. At this point when my family gets a craving for Chineses food I would rather go to Kroger to get a microwaved dinner since apparently that's how my food is being prepared anyway. In all honesty it would be a problem about the wait if it wasn't everytime we go. read more

Okay place to order from but you have to watch out for the lady she likes to overcharge and this has happened to me a couple of times.

I will say my food was hot, but the fried rice was very bland and the sesame sauce the chicken was covered in was really watery and didn't have much taste. Not sure if I would spend my money here again. read more

Whenever I order for pick up it's not ready when I get there. The sesame chicken tastes chewy and hard like the food isn't fresh.

Called in an order today for some steamed dumplings and some other things. When I got home, I found that they gave me egg drop soup. I called them to tell them they made a mistake and they lady told me I said egg drop soup. For one I have been going there for years and never order that. She told me to bring back the soup( whoever gets that I'm sorry, I never opened it up) and make a swap. When I get there, I had to pay four more dollar. I know that is not much, but it wasn't my mistake. They need to work on their customer service. I won't be going for a very long time if ever. So disappointed. read more

This used to be one of the best places to get Chinese food in Tipton county, but it has fallen off the past couple years. The food quality has declined a bit, but the main issue with this place is the chaos that ensues when trying to pick up or place an order inside. The employees are running around like a chicken with their head cut off and when it's busy, forget about it. You may be waiting an hour for your food when you already called it in. It is a crapshoot with how quick you will be in and out here, and when you get home you realize it wasn't worth the wait. read more

Your standard Chinese take out, not really for eating in, but they do have tables if you choose to do so. We did as we were getting our tires changed next door. Staff was very friendly and served us at the table and we were taken care of with a smile. The "dinner for 2" Is a nice bit of food, he could probably feed 2 adults and 2 small children. read more

Only 8 tables in this small place and the employees kids are taking up 3 of them. They have their toys and things on these tables. I got an order to go just needed to sit and wait. This is mainly a take out place because there is very limited seating. I recommend calling ahead for your order so you don't have to wait around. We've been going to this great place for years. Granted it's not a big place, as far as dining in, but we always order "To Go" anyway. The food is de'LISH, never greasy and the homemade hot mustard (given upon request) is the best! The people who run it are the nicest people, including their children. Our orders are always right and sorry, but if anyone has a lot of complaints about this place, they must be very hard to please :( They're great people serving great food! read more

One of the nicest ladys I know runs this place, everytime I have gone here I've gotten a great meal and never paid more than 18 for two people. Just want to say that the owner is the greatest. I went in a few months ago and ordered my food. Went to pay and worst thing possible could've happened. My debit card was MIA! I thought I was going to have a heart attack! After apologizing a million times she told me to enjoy my lunch and to pay next time I came in. I was so incredibly thankful and was truly overwhelmed with gratefulness! It took 2 days but my debit card was found in my home. The next afternoon I went I paid what I owed. I must of said thank you 10 times. I was having a hell of a day and this totally put my day in the right direction. So please do not take their kindness as a weakness, I have been a customer for many years and this was the only reason I was allowed to do this. So please don't try to deliberately try to get a meal for free. Thanks! A++++ business and food! read more

The woman who runs the counter is the nicest person in a restaurant i have ever seen. I love going there as she makes the experience better. Yes their children do take up some tables but everytime i have been they are very well behaved and dont bother anyone. Matter of fact i remember seeing the little boy when he was oh so young its almost like watching them grow up. I would go there every day if i could the food is great, i ask for substitutions and leave offs on my food all the time and they always get it right. You get alot of food for very little money. I just wish they had delivery too, cause sometimes you just don't wanna leave the house :-)/ read more
