Another dry dessert, and a sautéed mushroom in the back which was pretty good.

The place was nice and clean, and had a very nice modern look to it. The servers were nice enough when you asked for something( like a refill) and were attentive with taking up old plates of food. The food itself was ok and some things were good and some things not so much. The fried shrimp, egg rolls, spring rolls, and crab Rangoon were some of my favorite things while something like the shrimp cocktail and fried rice could be better .The desserts were pretty bad and most were dry and distasteful, besides an orange colored one which tasted pretty nice. The sushi was ok enough ( my mother didn't like it at all and it does remind me of supermarket sushi, but maybe not as good)but overall it's a pretty decent buffet and if you just craving a classic buffet this is a alright place to go to. They also had all types of Asian and southern style food so there was something for everyone.

I am usually hesitant to going to a food buffet but the quality here was actually pretty good! The service of the people working here was great, everyone filled our drinks, and our waitress was sweet to our boy. They have a cute fish pond in the front with coy fish, which is fun for the kids. The place was clean and organized. Also it's $12 a plate for adults, so very affordable to have a family dinner. They have sushi, and a Mongolian stirfry. Lots of good options. We will be back

Amazing food, great options, awesome customer service. The place was packed and they kept up with the freshness. Didn't get a chance to try the sushi, but the hibachi is where it's at! Will be going back again!

First time we've visited and it was a good buffet. Nice mixture of American food and Asian food. Large sushi bar and Mongolian barbecue available. Other things typically found at Asian buffets included the deserts and jellos and a salad bar. We enjoyed it.

We have been trying out different buffets in the area. Here is our review of last weeks stop at Grand Pacific. 4.0 stars because the only that we didn't like was that the ambiance is a little dark (tables and carpet all brown) and it needs bette lighting and a little more space between tables. Now the food !!! The Mongolian ready to cook area it's fantastic! They had a great variety of sushi, Asian cuisine, big salad bar, soups, American cuisine. Over all it was exciting to try out different things. The service was fine we went on a Sunday and although the place was busy there was no food lines. Would be going again in the future.

Honestly it's more a 3.5 but I'll round up. First of all it's a Chinese buffet. Keyword being a buffet. You already know you aren't getting the top of the line ingredients, but I still enjoyed myself. I'd stick to the hibachi grill and sushi. Those were both stand out in my opinion. Hibachi grill you can always change up your portion sizes and ingredients so it's something new each time. They has a pretty wide selection of sushi rolls. I liked the California roll and the amount of yum yum sauce I used should be illegal. It's so yummy, I couldn't help myself. The rest of the food was hot or miss. The American food was more miss than not. The Chinese portion of it was good especially if you lucked out and got it when they first set it out. It's all about timing with buffets. As you know I'm on the hunt for the best horchata. This was definitely not it but I mean that's on me for expecting more from a Chinese buffet for horchata. The dessert selection was pretty wide. I forgot to save room so I had a bowl of ice cream. They didnt have any bowls near the ice cream machine so I ended up using a soup bowl. Overall it was what I expected. I enjoy buffets and it was clean enough for me not to go running the other way.

The service was good but the food was okay at best not exactly what I was expecting but the sushi was delicious and the tea was excellent but the Chinese Food was not great at all the quality wasn't much though the soul food here wasn't big on variety either. Yes truthfully the experience wasn't 100% but I do recommend you try the sushi and they have a Ramen noodle bar as well but if you go for yourself maybe you'll have a different experience and opinion but this is mine so you be the judge. 10/7/23

Grand Pacific is a must have, if you are visiting the Memphis area in our lover of sushi buffets. Possibly the best sushi buffet this side of the state. Sushi has good variety fried foods also good. Fish is fresh and the fried section is delicious.

FAVORITE SPICY FOOD OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE…read more I legit am in love with this place. I LOVE how the food had spice but it isn't overwhelming. It adds to the flavor without being the only thing to the food. I just wish I had more people who liked spicy food to come eat here with me. I came back with some friends from out of town and it was still amazing. My fav thing is still on the Lunar New Year Menu: the Sichuan Mala Dry Pot. It had amazing flavor, good spice, and everything in it was just awesome. I've found a similar thing on the regular menu so I won't have withdrawals except for the fact that I genuinely want to eat here every week and can't hahah To try: Mapo Tofu Appetizer: Steamed Chicken with Chili Sauce Edamame Beef Spicy Crispy Chicken Sichuan Style Fried Rice Dandan Noodles Spicy Dry Noodles Loved: - House Special Mala Xiang Guo Dry Pot - Lunar New Year: Sichuan Mala Dry Pot (ABSOLUTE FAV) - Peony Chicken Liked: - Beef and Broccoli - Fried Rice: Yangzhou Style - Lunar New Year: Homestyle Whole Fish - Lo Mein: chicken, shrimp, and extra spice - Twice Cooked Pork Ok: - Tea: Jasmine - Lunar New Year: Garlic Pork Ribs Disliked: - Lunar New Year: Four Happiness Meatball - Traditional Kung Pao Chicken

I too have passed this place for over 30 years and never stopped in. The restaurant was very neat and clean on the inside, to go only style but, a few seats available to dine in. The service was prompt and super friendly as well as professional, prices are beyond reasonable. Now the food. I ordered shrimp egg fu young along with wonton soup. Starting with the soup, it lacked flavor, the dumplings were doughy and undercooked however I did enjoy all the veggies and pork pieces in side the soup especially the actual fried wontons. Unfortunately the dumplings were undercooked and I couldn't finish due to the gummy and chewy texture of the dough. Shrimp egg fu young is a dish that I must try at any restaurant when available this was no exception to the rule. The presentation was beautiful mouthwatering but once I bit into the egg foo yong, I got nothing but grease in my mouth. It didn't taste like anything but a bland fluffy grease pocket, and once I spat it out. Nothing but clear grease came out. my mouth was coated with a film of grease in no way could I finish that. I can only share my personal experience and unfortunately it wasn't great. Crazy part is I'm not opposed to giving them another shot with different items it will be a good while if I do decide to return but my initial experience wasn't the best food wise and although cheap it was a waste of money because it all went into the trash
