If I could give zero stars, I probably would have. I honestly should've taken pictures. There were flies everywhere and the place in general had that dingy, dusty smell that roach infested places have. I was not impressed at all. It looked decently clean but upon further investigation (looking a the buffet line), it was not very appetizing mainly due to the lack of cleanliness. Will not be returning. If you like the restaurant though, good for you. I also thought I paid way too much for what I considered to be not edible. So I really wanted to like this place, but there's a couple of things that really knocked it down for me. First, if you read some of my other reviews, you'll see that I eat at Chinese buffets all over the country, and I've been doing this for the last 20 years, due to work travel. First the positives: the place is clean, it's large, they have a huge selection, they seem to refill things constantly, and they have multiple stations for Mongolian Grill, sushi, noodles, dessert, etc. On the downside, this place is packed with tables. I was here at 5 o'clock on a Saturday evening, and it was a madhouse, with large families, and kids running everywhere. The noise level was quite high. The tables are very closely packed in, to allow them to maximize their seating. Unfortunately, this means you were sitting elbow to elbow with people you don't know. Now, for the food: I really have to use one word here, and that is " flavorless." I tried quite a few different things, and everything was just bland. They don't really have that many "Chinese" items. They have a huge number of American things, and some items labeled as "Thai," which were not in anyway shape or form Thai food. The service was good, the staff was very nice, I left my server a nice tip, but I don't think I will be back here, just because the food is so flavorless and bland. As an example, they had a Thai item called " dynamite chicken"... It was literally zero stars... No discernible flavor, heat, or Thai character. This looks like a great place to stuff the family and kids, and let them pick whatever they want, but as a "Chinese buffet," it really doesn't qualify. read more

I went to Grand Pacific Buffet around 7:30pm. The food was still fresh and had a wide assortment. If I go again, it will be earlier in the day. Poor customer service as they get closer to closing hours. The food is not replenished. The seafood was out. The ice cream machine is turned off early. The staff rushes around you and your table showing the anxiousness to close. One guy was deliberately randomly whistling with no tune of a song. Entrance is very nice. Was seated quickly. Waitress forgot our drinks, had to go ask her. Also had to get her attention to ask for a refill, twice. Some of the food on the buffet was cold. Came for dinner, friends suggested this place is great. I was not disappointed. Dinner price is inexpensive, one order of sushi roll will pay for the whole dinner. The place looks good, my friends and I ate at least three plates each. The food was so good. My friends love that place. If I am in town I will for sure come to this place again read more

Hands down worst experience I've had at a restaurant in a long time. As soon as we were sitting down my seat almost came out from under me and I only weigh 109lbs. I went to get sushi and there was 4 selections with no names on anything and the sushi preparer literally cut in front of me 3 times while I was looking to put the trays behind the sushi. I then went to get hibachi and while I was making my bowl, the man started grabbing the tongs and putting them in the sink so I couldnt get half the stuff I wanted. The dessert had been sitting out for hours, hard as a rock. While eating some ice cream, the only good thing we ate, the server came over and made us switch out the paper towels(that were full) trying to rush and close. It was only 9:15!!! Then another server was sweeping and pretty much made us lift our feet to sweep underneath our table. We get to the front desk to pay and the host stuck her hand out and said "$30.15", didn't ask how our food was, didn't ask how we're doing, and didn't have the slightest bit of a Smile on her face. May I add, we sat there with empty drinks the whole time we were there. Total waste of $30 and our time! Just found out they added a $6.00 tip to my card that I did not right down! The new location look great! Not sure if it's under new management/ownership but the food seems better as well. This is a go to for us when we are in a hurry and our children can't make up their minds on what kind of food they want. They have something for everyone. My son swears by the Mongolian bar! We got here around 8 pm. I did not expect the food to be bad since the restaurant does not close until 10 pm. However, when we walked in they had us pay immediately, which was slightly odd. When we sat down we noticed they were already starting to put food up and had stopped refilling the empties. Some of the food smelled very bad and a lot of it tasted as if it had been out for a while. Which like I said I didn't expect since the restaurant wasn't supposed to close for another 2 hours. We were not satisfied at all and were all 3 left with stomach aches. We politely asked the manager for refunds because the food was not fresh/ spoiled and tasted horrible. He did not make eye contact with us at all as we were trying to talk to him and he outright refused a refund multiple times and said he'd just give us a free visit next time. However I won't be back and I don't recommend this place. It has really gone down hill in both food and service. read more

they only get one star & that is simply for the location. to the general public.....you should avoid this restaurant at all cost. the prices are off the hook, the food is old & dried out. they ignore you when you ask for refills or fresh food. we paid for our meal with exact change. we walked away without getting a receipt. the waitress followed us outside in the parking lot screaming we did not pay. parking lot was full of people. when i returned inside the restaurant, all of the employees from the kitchen were headed out the door behind us. they stopped when i walked in. the man behind the counter saw me walk in and refused to look at me. when i told him to tell the waitress we paid he said, she o.k., she o.k. without turning away from the register. he knew she was coming out the door and would not tell her we had paid. these people are not so why do we spend our money with them. read more
