The staff are quite nice and professional and take the time to get orders right over the phone. 4. The safety precautions at the outdoors pick-up table are also nice. However, I had to make a choice, given that I've been a bit disappointed twice in a row, 3 it is then. The first visit, I had lunch special Thai eggplants with hot & sour soup. The hot & sour soup was delicious, although it's not the original SiChuan style. It substituted the signature day lily buds to golden needle mushrooms instead. It appears to be the Fuzhou style where the owner & chef are from, nonetheless, it's still very tasty. The Thai eggplants didn't come with any meat. I didn't know it's a vegetarian dish until it's too late, would have preferred to add some beef to it. The flavor was good but it's just too greasy, it sits in a puddle of oil as you can see from the photo. There are ways to make it less greasy but it takes efforts. Efforts take time & time is money, Apparently, this was something not worthy of improving when I brought it up. I kind of understand it but also felt disappointed at the same time. The second lunch visit, i ordered my favorite Japanese dish Unagi Don, I.e. Grilled eel on rice. I was more disappointed than the first time. The eel was barely warm, from the taste & texture, I felt it was precooked & microwaved upon order. The eel sauce was subpar & the slight fishiness further supports my suspension. This is a subpar Unagi Don experience unfortunately. I don't feel so bad now on giving it 3 star. I may return one more time to try out their sushi sashimi offerings, however, not in a any rush & not getting my hopes up either.

It had aromatics and not too heavy with oil like some places are. The General Tso chicken was really great. Light breading and quality meat. It didn't have a crunch to it, but that also meant it wasn't overly breaded and fried. Sometimes that make a dish feel too heavy and gross after. Overall, fair prices for quality food. (There were young guys walking around refilling our water glasses, so no need for her to do that.) We finished our meal and "Hellen" stopped at our table to leave the dinner check. Never once during our meal did she ask if everything was okay. She also didn't ask if we wanted another drink or, perhaps, dessert? (If they serve such a thing.) And it didn't appear to be just us. No one else on either side of us got another drink or was asked how their meal was. Apparently he took too long to get there because they sent someone out who stood in front of our house and screamed "help!" at the top of his lungs for a good few minutes after no one came to the door. Scared the shit out of the upstairs neighbors. They genuinely thought someone was getting killed in front of our house. Meanwhile, my partner goes inside the restaurant to find this lady had added a "delivery fee" to our receipt after already swiping his card, bringing our grand total of $27 fucking dollars to SIXTY DOLLARS. SIX. ZERO. You read that right. And refused to refund him for this so-called "fee". And there's a cherry on top to this, don't you worry! Get home with said food, find a long ass hair in my crab rangoon, and the majority of the spare ribs is fat. Do yourself a favor and stay the hell away from this place.
