    Beautiful blooms!
    Charli O.

Truly enjoyed checking out this lovely plot of land filled with flowers to cut and take home! Amy, the owner, explained she wanted a place that was family friendly and good for kids, but still fun for adults. There were lots of beautiful blooms to choose from and I filled my container with a wide variety. You pay according to size of container and can take as much time as you like to fill. Be prepared for outdoor conditions. Bring sunscreen, bug spray and water to make visit comfortable. Worked

Spent a lovely morning among the blooms snipping and and cutting and filling my watering can with beautiful wildflowers bursting with color! It was an absolutely perfect outing for the whole family - from grandma down to the 2 year old. Amy at Manchester Blooms greeted us with a big friendly smile and a full explanation of where to pick (anywhere)! We arrived just a few minutes after opening but Amy was ready! She had containers, clippers and scissors (including plenty of kid-friendly ones) at the ready. Prices were clearly displayed on a blackboard next to the stacks of brightly colored plastic watering cans and big cups for holding our cut flowers. We chose a Paw Patrol cup, blue kid scissors and a bold purple watering can and matching purple grown-up snippers. We picked beneath bright blue skies and fluffy white clouds, everyone running to what they thought was the prettiest flower in the row. It was easy to walk the wide mowed paths between the rows of pink, purple, yellow, orange and purple blossoms. There were sections of huge sunflowers too! Picnic tables were available for resting and arranging our finds and big, painted tractor tires invited the kids to climb and play when picking was done. The drive out was picturesque. The rows of corn on either side of the winding roads were green and lush. Red barns, cute farmhouses and hay bales in the fields made us feel like we were driving across a jigsaw puzzle box!

I would not have made it out to Manchester Blooms if it wasn't for an event. Now that I have been, I would return. The owner, Amy is lovely. She offers a few options including different sizes and pick your own or have one made for you. The little one in our group loved that she was able to pick a Disney Princess cup out from the kids cups to put her flowers in. The sunflowers made for Instagram worthy pics and we came home with beautiful arrangements.

Place: Who knew there was a you pick flower garden in the area. So pretty and it is exactly what I have hoped for. You have to go at the right season. There are rows of flowers of sorts. The highlight is definitely the sunflowers. Service: The service was so friendly and helpful. This place was a no judgment zone and I was given all the supplies and instruction. It was a very hands off experience where you take the lead. Audience: Great to bring your kids, couples, families. I would come back with my friends and share the fun experience I had. I will be back when the flowers are blooming again next year. Recommend/tips: I would recommend this place. Great place, great service. It was such a quiet outside of ann arbor city experience. Made time go slower and really enjoyed the experience.

A flower farm field of dreams! I loved visiting Manchester Blooms to pick flowers. Located in Manchester Mi just outside of Ann Arbor. It's the perfect distance for a drive with a fun destination and a great way to spend an afternoon! There are rows and rows of sunflowers and a variety of wildflowers like zinnias and cosmos. Amy was a pleasure to chat with. She was so informative and friendly, I love her passion for what she does! She takes pride in her flowers and it shows. I filled two large buckets and was able to make so many bouquets from the flowers picked. The bouquets also lasted longer than most conventional store flower bouquets. Tips for your visit: * Scissors are provided to cut flowers or you can bring your own. * They provide water in your vessel of choice. There are multiple sizes to choose from. * Make sure you have room in your car for the flowers so they don't get squished. * The flower field is in full sun with no shade, so dress and plan accordingly! It gets hot! * There are picnic tables and a small canopy tent if you need to take a break * The farm isn't huge like an apple orchard so you'll be able to see everything and don't have to worry about ton of walking but there is plenty of flowers to choose from, which is the perfect size!

Need a date night idea? This place is the perfect spot for a pre-dinner actuality. So many beautiful sunflowers and wildflowers. I took my boyfriend here in mid-august and there were so many great blooms! He even had a fun time cutting the flowers and building a bouquet. This hidden gem is very bare bones- they offer different sized cups/buckets with water where you can hold your flowers. It would have been nice to have some tissue paper to wrap the bouquet in afterwards. Amy, the owner was so kind and helpful. She knew every single flower and pointed us in the direction of each kind. I do recommend bringing bug spray (duh, because you're outdoors near flowers), which we forgot. There are plenty of parking spaces as well! We will be back!

Amazing experience at Manchester Blooms! Such a relaxing place - our family had a wonderful time doing the "you-pick" flowers. Lots of fun ones to choose from! We will be back!

Today (8/5/22) was our first time ever doing U pick for flowers so I don't have much to compare our experience to, but it was wonderful. Manchester Blooms had beautiful sunflowers, zinnias, and wildflowers available for picking. Value: Incredible value at $15 to cut and fill a watering can full of fresh cut flowers. They offered a smaller cup for $8 or a large bucket for $30, so there is a reasonable size for everyone. Our watering can took my wife and I a little over and hour to fill, cutting at a leisurely pace. They provided the scissors, bucket, and water. The area is easily walkable and there is room for kids to run and play in addition to some picnic benches if you wanted to pack a lunch. We had the entire field to ourselves on a Friday afternoon. The owner said that the busy days/times vary. Tip: you do have to drive about a quarter mile down a dirt road to get to the parking lot. It was well maintained but wait until after you come to get a car wash. Overall, I was very happy with our experience and would definitely come again. Such a cool concept!

We had a fun outing today at Manchester Blooms with some friends and our little ones. We tried it out due to a Yelp elite event! It is quite out of the way, but a nice scenic drive to get out there. When you arrive, you're promptly greeted and offered a few options for container sizes; you're also provided with water and cutting tools. Then you have free range of the area. There wasn't a ton of different types of flowers, but enough to make a nice bouquet. It would be great to see more variety in the future! The terrain was totally fine for pushing a stroller around. We spent about 30 minutes there but you could easily take a lot more time. Thank you for hosting the event, we had a great day!

Really beautiful area! They have a pick your own flowers option which I highly recommend. This place is a well kept secret and offers a variety of wild flowers and sunflowers. It's really relaxing to go through and just create your own bouquet, I brought my mom and she absolutely loved it. The area is quiet, peaceful, and has a huge array of flowers. There are wildflowers but I would highly recommend just going for the sunflowers because of such a great deal! The wild flowers lasted a few days but the sunflowers lasted almost 2 weeks with proper care. Highly recommend bc the owner was super kind and gave us awesome recommendations.

I can't think of a more pleasant way to spend a sunny afternoon. Even the drive out there past rolling fields, woods, and ponds was lovely. It was so nice to just get to wander through the flower patches to pick all the most beautiful blooms. They have lots of parking,, water, and a Porta potty available too. I think 7 bucks is really reasonable to pick a big bunch of fresh, beautiful flowers and I would definitely go back!

What a wonderful summer activity to enjoy picking flowers! Upon arriving, you are pleasantly greeted by Amy and introduced to the beautiful Manchester Blooms for a Yelp Elite event. After a lovely chat with Amy, we were directed to choose our freshly sanitized flower cutting shears and welcomed to enjoy our time amongst the flowers. Manchester Blooms was a beautiful, go at your pace, enjoy your time amongst the blooms kind of environment. She said the goal was to leave with a cup filled with flowers you loved. And the only rule was to leave the milkweed for the butterflies. There were many rows of zinnias, sunflowers, and more to explore. And despite the strong storms this year wreaking havoc on the beautiful blooms, it was a lovely summer activity nestled nearby Ann Arbor. We left with a lovely bouquet of flowers that brings joy to me every time I glance at it! Truly lovely activity and location to enjoy with a friendly, welcoming presence thanks to Amy!

Perfect way to spend a summer morning- wandering through the fields at your own pace and treasure hunting for the perfect blooms to add to your pre-paid container--as many as you can jam in!!! Super reasonable prices, friendly staff, low key and relaxing. Great for families, girlfriends or just solo outing to take a breather from the grind.

It's a cute, cozy mill with amazing cider, made in-house. This fall, I got their frozen cider and loved the cinnamon taste. I've also previously had their apple donuts which were nice and warm! I am certainly not denying the great selection of apple products- donuts, caramel dipped apples, cider, hard cider, and more. I am hoping it's a bad coincidence that in the last 3 years I have received rude customer service and want to give the benefit of the doubt to a family owned business. It always seems to be very busy whenever I go and I want to attribute the staff to being stressed or hot, however I do expect common courtesy wherever I go, even if it is busy. The staff threw my apples into a bag without care, grabbed my items from me in a frenzy to ring me up, and rushed me into a decision, all while not even thanking me for coming in or making eye contact. I observed this with other customers as well. I'm writing a review after visiting multiple times because it has been the same treatment every visit. I again, want to be as generous as I can to a local business because I love to visit places like this, but want to provide honest feedback on a place I enjoy!

We went early in the morning to get there before the crowds or the buzzing bees around the spills that happen outside when it's so busy mid morning on a Sunday. They can turn those sounds out from the kitchen so fast and hot before the line gets longer than the length if the building we bought enough to fill us up for the morning but took more to eat later too they are so fresh that even the next day we happily polished off the rest. My favorite are the cinnamon sugar and the cider hit. But they have cold cider as well and a case of random other pastries made there too. The apple fritters looked enticing and were selling fast but I can get those at home where nobody makes cider donuts like this! I hate missing even one year doing this but lucky we could fit it in this year They also cave a cute gift section. Specialty treats that range from maple syrup to fancy chips and spices line the walls. But I'm there for the cider and donuts. Staff is so quick and accommodating, a perfect vacation treat

If you want a silly theme park feeling (hay rides and cider and all that) this will not be the orchard for you. If you prefer something a little closer to what a Michigan Orchard is and was, you will love it here. This place is a little older, a little wilder and far less crowded than most UPick Orchards, giving is a "secret garden" kind of feel. I love that you can wander through the orchard without tripping over people and that you can experiment with an assortment of apples of all shapes sizes and flavors (who cares what it is called, take a bite, find out and if you are curious ask Bill and he will tell you all about it). This orchard has more varieties of apples than I have ever seen before including rare heritage breeds (Wolf River, and Snow Apple for example) and some of the newer apples that we are all familiar with (no Gala yet, but I think they are coming), he also has a few Quince and Asian Pear trees. Upick apples are $8 a half peck. They keep the spray to a minimum, so these apples look a little less pretty than normal, but are probably better for you. He also has honey and will sell apples by the tree - you buy the rights to an entire apple tree at the beginning of the year and reap the rewards come fall (great for gifts!). Also, for people interested in picking apples this year - they have arrived early this year all across MI and Ontario, so you better get out there soon, or there may be none left!

She seemed slightly annoyed, and said yes, and that she would be with us "shortly." After another two minutes had passed and we had already gotten my 18 month old daughter out of her car seat, we were eventually told that we needed to drive another mile down the road to pick. Not off to a great start... Upon arriving in the orchard, there were no employees or signs to guide us or explain any of the available apple varieties. I found it interesting that the few other customers we saw already had standard orchard bags, which apparently had not been offered to us at the barn. The actual picking was not good either, as many of the apples were very high up and out of reach. After some time we were able to accumulate a fair amount of apples, however, and drove back to the barn to pay. The woman who had so pleasantly greeted us earlier then seemed confused as to why we did not have one of the proprietary half-bushel bags, When I calmly said I didn't think a bag had been offered, she not only criticized me for not listening, but raised her voice and demanded that we pay $20 for an entire bushel. When I suggested we transfer the apples from my bag to one of her standard bags, she was resistant and outright disrespectful. I have never witnessed such poor customer service at another apple orchard, or any self-respecting business for that matter. All of these problems could likely have been avoided with a few simple signs to provide direction, which would be much more efficient than relying on verbal communication. That being said, my family will never return to this orchard due to the blatant lack of respect with which we were treated.

Now, it's $5 per person, and instead of a peaceful scenic ride, it stops at every station and they no longer give you a donut & cider with ticket purchase. When we asked about the change, we were told it was because they weren't making money off the old setup. I understand businesses need to adjust, but it really took away from the experience. That scenic ride with the cider and donut was always one of the highlights for us ; something we truly looked forward to every year. They did add more bouncy houses for the kids, which is nice, but the ones they had before were just as fun. The food was about the same, decent, but nothing special.
