White Lotus Farms - Inside of Coffee Cream Croissant ($4) - I like the cream: very strong coffee flavor. The croissant part is just fine.

I don't love that. They have extremely deep pond very close to the area where lots of children are. It doesn't feel very safe. I find that their bakery items are delicious and they have good coffee too . You can definitely feel religious undertones and not feel slightly strange to me, but I do enjoy the products that they make, and everybody is very kind . There are lots of fun places to take pictures in the flowers into tour the religious grounds.

The bread was very good, filled with Kalamata olives. The morning bun sort of reminded me of a croissant with cinnamon sugar in a spiral shape, it was decent, but I wouldn't get it again. The stand was very busy, they had a large variety of things, I wasn't able to check out anything besides the baked goods. Ok get bread again, next time I go to Eastern Market.

I found this pumpkin picking spot somewhat randomly, but like that it's really close to where I live (convenient!). It's just outside of town such that it feels like a rural/farm area and experience, but convenient to get to. It's relatively no frills - a great option if you're really just looking to buy pumpkins at a good price without much additional fanfare. They have them organized by price/size so it's easy to browse and find what you're looking for. The selection is really broad, both in terms of size and look! They also have a cute little photo spot. The overall size of the place is pretty small, lends for an efficient pumpkin selection process. (No walking through big patches trying to find the perfect pick.) Not a lot of parking, but guessing this place isn't as busy as some of the other pumpkin picking spots where there are a million other activities too. I was one of two people there when I went. There's an attendant for purchasing. One thing that intrigued me when I visited - they had a small plot with a bunch of sunflowers (at/past season end). I wonder if they sell sunflowers when they're in season. Something to check out next year!

They are selling really cute tea ornaments and they have other things like tea pots and cards with funny phrases like "It was you Oolong." They don't have a physical menu because the flavors constantly change. You can look online but for the most part, have to stand behind the counter in diff areas to see alll the flavors! I spotted Almond Milk Tea and she let me smell it and I was sold! It smelled wonderful! When it was actually brewed, it was ok though. It doesn't really have milk in it either :0p My MIL got the Hisbiscus (a tad too sour) and my husband got the Japanese Cherry green tea (that was good and has a mild flavor if you like that sort of thing). They have signs on the table that there is no Wifi because they encourage unplugged conversations and connections.

Everyone was super friendly inside and it was very pleasant. A zillion teas are for sale by weight and I got a few. We also prefer hot teas. My son had pineapple mango and I have the baked apple. Both were beyond outstanding! I also got two varieties of earl grey to try at home. They also have a tea oriented retail area and a snack bar, and a drink bar too. Overall a real gem of a spot. J.Ja

They answered all my questions right away and helped me with exactly what I needed. The first time I bought my meat I got beef for the whole week, eggs, local honey and clean ingredient chapsticks. Everything was absolutely amazing and today I stocked up on my chicken. Felicia, Jasmine, and Mike are awesome and they're a big part of why I chose to make this part of my weekly grocery stops. Everytime we passed their big red barn I would say, "I gotta go there and check it out!" And then I'd forget until the next time we drove by. I just always went by too late in the evening to do anything about it! BUT I finally found myself there during the day and now that I've actually been I'm so mad at myself for all the amazing things I've been missing! Upon my arrival I was greeted by a gorgeous horse and two shaved alpacas in a pen by the parking area. Upon further inspection I also saw several goats (including some youngins) and two very cute donkeys. All of them were so friendly and curious. Getting to pet cute animals? It was already a five star fave and I hadn't even gone inside! Eventually I pulled myself away from the cuties and went inside. There I found a wonderfully curated selection of locally made pantry goods for sale (some baked goods, jams, honey, snack foods, candy, coffee, pastas, etc) a few standing coolers of refrigerated and frozen goods like locally sourced eggs, dairy, ice cream, quiche, pierogi, dips and spreads, and more. And of course, the star of the show, their own selection of pasture raised and house butchered cuts of beef, pork, and chicken (alongside more processed offerings like sausages, brats, etc). It doesn't get much fresher, local, and sustainable than this, folks! And they have a massive selection to choose from, too. We had just started our recent heatwave and I had errands to run so I didn't want to buy a lot but I did get a frozen quiche, a package of whitefish dip, granola, a couple of small ice cream bars (might have eaten those in the car!), and some cheese curds. Luckily they had cooler bags so I added one of those to the order to help the frozen goods keep everything else cold. I plan on visiting again soon to pick up some steaks or ribs to throw on the grill, too. I can't wait to try their other offerings! Thrilled to have finally made it here and it will definitely now be part of our regular grocery rotation!
