The Sears signs are still up. Kind of sad looking into the locked doors, and seeing where I used to buy Craftsman tools. Thankfully Macy's is still open, along with a attached Walmart. JC Penney probably won't be around much longer. There are some entertainment options. Uptown Alley is a Dave and Busters Type. Autobahn has indoor go karts, which are way overpriced. The axe throwing is fun though. It's all on one floor. That is a good thing. There are some okay stores, but it's not what it used to be. In many ways it's like other malls. There are some ok athletic type of shops, but there's a lot of stores that don't do anything for me. If in the area it works, and it's fairly clean and organized. read more

There's not many other customers there whenever I go, which is a little off-putting, but I like it. The customer service is great and employees are very friendly in all the stores, however there aren't that many in the little shops outside stores. Understandable, it isn't very busy. Many reviews about the smell are true though, a lot of parts of the mall smell pretty strange/musty, but nothing unbearable. Many different shops to go to and have fun every time, even if it's a little lonely. read more

The mall itself is alright. The new restaurants are nice, love the improvements that have come to be mall in the past 5 years or so. Now that I have a toddler we love to use the little indoor playground that's meant for little children by At Home. Unfortunately there are too many inattentive parents that let their older children play inside, and my toddler was knocked over twice today by children that were clearly way over the height limit on the sign. Parents did NOT care at all, too busy on their phones. It's perfect during the weekdays, as school aged children are well... in school. Weekends, not so much. Please be a responsible parent, if your child is over the height limit and being rough around toddlers then please get them under control or take them over to Billy Beez. read more

Manassas Mall is slowly making a comeback. You have to judge it on its own merit as it's quite unique from your typical mall. Anchored down by Walmart on one end and Macy's on the other, you will find done store your familiar with that have stood the test of time like Bath & Body Works, American Eagle, Foot Locker abs Victoria Secret/Pink. Yet you also have the addition of places like Shilla Bakery, Uptown Alley and Bravo Peruvian Chicken. You also have some storefronts that are empty as well as some mom and pops shops within the mall. It will not be as crowded as most malls so you can walk around comfortably and enjoy what's there. At the same time there are no high end stores either so if that is star you are on the hunt for, this mall is not fit you. Hopefully they will continue to progress towards added more quality stores to enhance the overall experience of this location. read more

The Manassas Mall has been undergoing a lot of renovation over the past few years. Currently they are anchored by Macy's, Walmart and @Home. We spent a lot of time wandering around the mall this weekend while we waited for an open lane at Uptown Alley. It's a smaller mall with a full food court and several restaurants attached including an IHOP, Bravo Peruvian Chicken and Rotunda at the Uptown Alley. There's also Autobahn Indoor Speedway, which looked like another fun family activity to complement the bowling alley. The mall features a newly opened Forever 21 and other stores such as Bath and Bodyworks, Victoria's Secret and Pink, Childrens Place and Charlotte Russe. Other stores as well, your typical mall selection generally with some independently owned shops also making a nice mix. It did seem that a good proportion of the shops are directed primarily towards a younger crowd. No higher end chains here either (like Abercrombie or Coach). We did notice that there seems to be a number of empty spots on the side hallways. Also, several stores, though clearly in business, were closed with metal grilles locked down even though it was a Saturday afternoon. Overall the mall seemed clean and in good repair. There are lots of seating areas and a specially designed tots play area (with padded floors and soft vinyl structures). There were lots of families both around the tot lot and food courts and in the area around the bowling alley. We noted a lot of security as well. There's ample parking so it makes a nice spot to while away a few hours. My kids enjoyed it (11,15). read more

Not much to say here. I like this mall because it's unpretentious. It has a wal mart attached to it and I love that you can walk right out the mall into the wal mart. It has a bowling alley, audobon speedway, and a food court. Many of the stores are local self owned and there is a hair braiding place and barbershop. Heh - I am going to be the only person who has given Manassas Mall a favorable rating. But here's why. First of all - there is no disputing that this is lower down on the food chain compared to other Malls - in terms of quality and ambiance. However, having said that, there are a number of businesses here that I frequent - and all of them have been high quality retail experiences. I've shopped at JCPenney, Macy's (I found this Macy's to be clean, well organized, and well staffed), Spencers, Bath & Body Works, and Fashion Time. read more

6/2/19 After walking through the mall of Man's asses...(not the best picked name) I liked what I saw. I have not been to this mall in a long time. I saw things that have been added like the race track and a place like Dave&Busters. The mall seems big to me and I did not get to see all of it. I know it is just a matter of time before I go back there and see it on my own. Some shops got my interest while others did not. Hot Topic was one store I saw, but it looked very tiny. The cashier wore matching shirts that said "Make America Gay Again." This would make the people's president so proud...okay, for the people that voted for him...No?!...oh well. Turns out one of the cashiers had other plans on a shirt she was going to were, when here partner told her to wear Make America Gay Again shirt. I liked the Emerald Green hair she had going too. I saw a Mood Ring that caught my eye, but did not buy it. I already have a emerald green bracelet coming this month or next month. I did a review on it earlier. I saw a massage place but did not get the name of it. It looked empty with a bored employee there. If I go back to this mall, I might pay them a visit. The Walmart I visited was very big what I saw. The place was well stock and kept in good order. There were a number of people in the store, but the mist memorable people were the two teenagers boxing in a narrow hallway and the parents of the teenagers did nothing to stop them. It's all fun against till someone breaks something. After finding some household items, we left the mall. My wife has no plans to return here because it reminds her of PG Mall near her old house. To ghetto are the words she used. I am sure to go back to both of these place one of these days. read more

It's as good as a mall can be . My family seemed to find something for everyone , and luckily they didn't have me here for the entire day . I personally hate shopping and try to do my shopping online. This mall has more recently undergone some renovations which did help revamp it to life...somewhat. It is still lacking severely as being a decent mall to visit. They definitely need some more shops. The place continuously smells musky. I still visit this mall because I do like that it isn't overbearing like the Fair Oaks mall. With a little help, it could be a great mall again. But for now, it's not. I hate that it's attached to the WalMart...it just drags all the Walmart traffic through and well, we all know Walmart's reputation. read more

When I first moved to Manassas in 2012, this was a ghost town and really run down. Iver the years, they remodeled, added new stores like HM, Walmart, the bowling alley, Go cart, buzy bees (kid playground) food court choices just to name a few. Now it's thriving. It has all the basic stores, and kiosks that all malls have. Still has a Macy's, yet it's not as big as Fair Oaks Macy's but it will suffice, and sill has Sears. Shillas Bakery just open Ed, a Korean owned Boba, desert, and cake store. Yes no more driving to Centreville. My wife and I just ate a Strawberry Bing Soo. I come here cause I don't always like driving to Fairfax or Potomac Mills unless it has a store that Manassas doesn't have. I'm here in HM waiting for my wife to try on clothes on a Sunday afternoon and there is a nice crowd, but not over crowded like Fair Oaks and Potomac gets. So don't be scared of past reviews in act some of them are white racists anyways. read more

At its current state, (The New) Manassas Mall gets a 3-star. I say that because although there are probably few (if any) stores that interest me or others, there's momentum and an ongoing effort to revitalize it. I'm not familiar with the Pyramid Management Group (PMG), but they've managed to bring in a few tenants the past few years that likely resulted in more foot traffic. Yes, it's anchored by Macy's, At Home, Sears, and (probably) Walmart--hardly appealing to most mall-goers--but I'm convinced this mall is gearing up for a positive change in the coming years. Shilla Bakery, which offers Asian baked goodies and boba ("bubble tea"), is now open; there's a small but solid selection right now, but I'm sure it'll expand once the mall begins to shape up. Uniqlo is coming soon and has a storefront reserved. Waxy's Modern Irish Bar has a spot saved near Billy Beez. There's a vacant storefront directly across from Waxy's that's fit for a trendy chain restaurant. The potential is there. Change will come faster when more people realize and acknowledge this mall is moving forward with a new strategy. read more

This is Manassas Mall. It has gone through so many changes in the last 20 years it's unbelievable. There are so many more stores open now than ever before. It's a good mall to get shopping done, walk around, and grab a bite. It's clean, plenty to do, and good for kids. Not too much more to say except if you're expecting Tyson's, you should go there. This is a rapidly expanding and improving small town mall and for what it is doing in terms of growth, should be applauded. read more

I've lived by this mall my whole life. It has really gone downhill. When I was younger.. my dad used to take me to this mall every Saturday right when they opened. We would go inside the toy store and walk around. It used to be a pretty decent mall......... like 15 years ago. Back in the day, there used to be a movie theater inside, a Rite Aid Pharmacy, Montgomery Wards.. now there's really nothing much They do have SOME better stores now.. and they are building a SUPER WALMART right now. Maybe the addition of the SUPER WALMART will attract more business to the mall. Right now, this mall is lucky I am giving it 2 stars. 1 star for having SOME ok stores.. and 1 star because I had good childhood memories. This mall is worse than Springfield Mall. read more

Pretty small Mall. They are still updating this Mall. I walked pretty quickly thru the mall. Not too many stores here. Sunglasses Hut, Spencer's, Hot Topic, Macy's, Sears, a hair cutting place, Little Penguin, and a few more. The good thing was the Walmart that is actually attached to the mall. A moribund mall, that was dying a slow death, and has now gotten a reprieve of sorts.. Years ago, it used to have a full selection of anchor stores (Target, Sears, Walmart Superstore, etc.) and smaller retail shops, along with a bustling food court. It started drawing less shoppers about 5 years ago, and then Target pulled a Houdini, and many of the smaller stores decided it was time to go as well, and so then there were a lot of empty storefronts, and many of the food court restaurants pulled out as well. In the last year, there has been a concerted effort by mall management to get more, and different, types of retail tenants in the mall footprint, in order to make the mall a "destination" experience. These include an arcade complex with a bowling alley and restaurant inside, and a go-kart racing business. There are still plenty of open slots where stores used to be. Only time will tell if the new strategy is going to pay off. It's clean and safe, just a bit forlorn at times because of the lack of shoppers. read more

I have to update this review and add a star. So much has changed here in the two years since my last review. I threw in some pics of the coolest and newest stores and "Things to do". First, I started coming back to the Manassas Mall because of Lenscrafters. These guys rock!! Seriously! I noticed the mall was just falling apart really but they had an area blocked off for remodeling. Second, While waiting for my eye appointments I found some really great and inexpensive clothing stores where I actually don't mind spending my money! H&M and Hot Topic (skater dresses), Rue 21. They are great. Third, I now see very comfy places to sit and relax, or sip a drink or play with your devices, etc. Fourth and last, I see some great new entertainment. Bowling, race cars and a fun zone for the kids. I guess let me add that the food court is still ok and they have new ones ,coming at the entertainment section. Manassas did a great job updating thus place. I am now a fan. read more

We had to run in to Sears to pick up something while in the Manassas area. All I can say is never again. This mall is outdated, not well maintained and frankly quite dirty. Scott H is absolutely right in his comment about a funky odor that seems to permeate the place. The selection of stores is typical of what you would find in a lower end shopping center with the anchors being Sears, Macy's, JC Penney and Walmart. I thought the addition of Target and Old Navy to the malls was a disappointment, but Walmart? Selection of food is disappointing, but I don't think I would ever be tempted to stay here long enough to eat anyway. This is a place to run in quickly to pick up a needed item, not a place for a leisurely shopping experience. You are better served to make the drive to Tyson's, Fair Oaks or even Potomac Mills. In the last couple of years the changes they have made to this mall have been great. They have Super Wal-Mart, Macy's, JC Penny's. Recently in the last couple of years they have added Uptown Alley which is a great Bowling/Bar. And also an indoor speedway Autobahn. I would like to see more fashion and apparel stores open, and possibly expand the food court to open more restaurants. read more

I dont even know why I'm writing a review for this place? Maybe because I'm bored. I've been to this mall probably a total of 5 times. More than enough to really question why did I even come here. Oh yeah, because a good friend of mine lives really close to here and each time I or he needed something in particular only to find out they don't have it. Lets see, first the H&M and Express here only carry women's clothing... wtf? I can understand why, it's just odd. So if your a guy in the Manassas area and need clothes, don't bother going to Manassas mall. I can't speak about being here at night though, but I wouldn't recommend it. The mall is pretty much dead. Mostly covered with white walls and the biggest stores are Macy's, JCPennys, Target, and Walmart. If you live in Manassas, just make the drive to Fair Oaks or Tysons. Its well worth it. read more

Yikes! We sure do have a crappy mall in M-town, don't we? I went here for the first time when I moved to Manassas about 5 years ago and noted to my wife that it smelled like the 1970's inside. It's hard to explain - it had that musty, funky odor that smelled like old disco sweat. Since then I'll say it has improved a little bit ... but it's still a big fat MEH. That's not to say that there aren't some good things. It seems cleaner now and the store selection has improved somewhat. The Macy's is actually pretty good, and the mall frequently advertises that its the top grossing Macy's in the area. (Probably because most malls in the area have two Macy's) The JCP and Wal-Mart are both OK, although I prefer the Wal-Mart on Liberia now that they've "superized" it. The Target closed, but everyone hated that Target anyway, and there's a much better one like 5 minutes away. But let's face it ... this place is freakin' depressing. The Food Court is a joke - McDonald's, Subway, Sbarro, Crappy Generic Japanese Place, Crappy Generic Chinese Place ... Grill Kabob is the only place worth going to. I know they aren't trying to compete with the swanky malls like Tysons or Dulles, but when your ONLY restaurant is IHOP ... well that's just sad. Manassas deserves better. They've done a great job giving the Old Town area a facelift, it's about time somebody does the same for the mall. read more

Update: Looks like some improvement projects are underway at the mall. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Last time I was in this mall was around 7 years ago; moved away and recently came back to NoVA. Very disappointed to see that the mall has actually gotten worse, even with all other areas around Manassas showing improvement with the population expansion here. Having been a mall employee here, I can say with some level of authority that this place is fails at life. Many a minimum wage day I saw a rat pitter patter it's little feet across the cafeteria floor. There is now some super jumbo Wal-Mart attached here, but that hasn't changed the interior of the mall one bit. This mall is running head to head with Springfield Mall in the categories of, "Places you're most likely to get shanked, contract rabies" in Northern Virginia. read more

I am starting to run out of places to go with the kids during Snowpocalpse 2-1-, so that is what lead us here today. Me; What do you guys wanna do today? 3 year old: Wanna go someplace fun Me: ?? To be honest, the original plan was to head to House of Bounce but we had a bathroom emergency and I saw a Target (which usually has clean restrooms) and did not realize it was attached to an actual mall. All one level except for the Macy's and JC Penney's. The "food court" consists of a smoothie/yogurt place where the employee looked like she was hiding underneath the counter; a japanese grill place...and something else not memorable. No playplace! Booo. I wound up blowing all of my quarters on those stupid ride on thingies near the pseudo food court. I give this mall an extra star because in an area where all grocery stores are out of EVERYTHING, the SuperWalmart was stocked with milk and essentials. read more
