    7" cheese steak

Finally got to try Mammoth! They were parked outside Cynosure on 3/5. First things first: these ain't cheap! You pay $17 for a 7 inch or $20 for a 10 inch. I think the pricing is designed so that $20 doesn't seem like a lot for a sandwich, you'll think "but I'm getting almost 50% more for only $3!" I think a 7-inch would be enough for most people. Even for someone like me that is "always hungry". Anyway, these sandwiches are big, burly, greasy, and GOOD! You won't leave this truck hungry! Service was also great, and their buzzer system worked flawlessly. Now excuse me while I go work off this bread-n-beef bomb.

The name fits the sandwiches. Yes, your heart will race once you're given your total, but I assure you, you definitely get what you pay for here. I first discovered this food truck summer 2021 at the Craft Brew Festival Summer Edition on the park strip. They had the longest lines throughout the entirety of the festival. I made a mental note that I had to experience them eventually. For the most part, they are located in a nostalgic area for me. Dowling where I lived during HS, and Potter Rd. where I lived as a newlywed. Super convenient location, viewable from both sides of the road. Mammoths truffle fries are homemade. They taste bomb even after warming them in the microwave. The cheese curds are truly elite. The sandwiches are huge, filling and flavorful. Bravo, Mammoth!

Came by for National Cheese Steak day! Completely Satisfied, some of the largest and flavor packed PCS I've had in a long time. Watch their calendar to see when they are available. Have been here 3 times for the Curds ooohhhhhh so GOOD!!!!!!! To be honest I've stopped by on the previous 2 day to study and practice for Today's Event. Will be my go to for these items. Btw Cheese Curds in pictures are only About 1/3 of actual order as I munched them on way home.

This sandwich is huge! Make sure you are extra hungry before you head over. This sandwich is heavy and they don't leave out any filling. You can defiantly tell this is some great quality meat and fillings. Wish they were able to toast it a bit so it isn't too soft. I'm usually able to eat a lot but this sandwich lives up to its name! Mammoth Cheesesteak doesn't mess around. The cheese curds are pretty tasty and have a bit of a squeak to it! The fires are perfectly cooked but they had a bit too much salt on it for me. Defiantly one of the better places I've had a cheesesteak at here in town.

There is no 6th star on here but I would select it if I could. Mammoth Cheesesteak is consistently amazing and hands down the BEST cheesesteak in town and surely the state. If you haven't tried them, you are sorely missing out. I highly recommend the cheese whiz (go light if you must) and the candied jalapeños! . And don't forget the truffle fries or garlic cheese curds to go with... The only downside to Mammoth is that eventually you will either get too full to finish, or if you have a hollow leg, you might finish and will be sad you don't have more. Ingredients are always fresh and made to order. I can't say enough. Great people, great food and value. You won't be sorry.

Best Cheese Steak I've ever had.

Good food but over priced, not the best cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had. The bread is super thick, and the sandwich as a whole is average

Fantastic Phillies! The food is fresh and meat is made of ribeye! One Philly can easily feed two people.

The bagel of choosing was the 'Pick Me', a steamed everything bagel topped with bacon, ham, sausage, egg, and pepper jack. I decided to add some pepper jelly on the side and it was delicious ‍. From the first bite of the soft bagel, all of the flavors complemented the next one. I recently found out about this gem from an ADN article. I can't wait to try the other bagel options!

We found them at APU on April 20th for a craft fair. They steam their own bagels and have a variety of flavors including plain, everything, onion, sesame, GF, and a sweet rotating option usually blueberry. I got the Barefoot breakfast bagel, overall it was pretty good. Very very messy since the cream cheese was warm and melted everywhere. The bagel was chewy and I was able to get an everything instead of the onion bagel it came with. You can pretty much choose which bagel you want with what sandwich. I picked off the onion even though there wasn't that much, and the tomato slice I got still had the sticker on it, which was bad quality control on their part . The banana pepper added a sweet yet tangy taste, not much cheddar on it, more peppers and banana peppers. It was very good, but again messy. We also got tots which honestly seemed like they were not frozen they were soft yet crunchy. A little spendy at almost $15 each give or take a few bucks. They are not huge bagels but stuffed with a lot of fillings.

I wish I could say the food was amazing, but it just wasn't very good at all. I found myself very disappointed with my choice in what truck to order dinner from as there were so many other options. It was edible, and I don't think it was made wrong it just lacked any flavor. The Mac & cheese barely had any cheese. The pulled pork was more the flavor of the bbq sauce than actually smoked pork. The peppers and onions on the reindeer dog were barely cooked. Nothing had seasoning on it. It was one of the most lackluster meals I've had in a long time. I tried feeding the Mac to my toddler so I could get something else, and even he wasn't having it. To add insult to injury both items were $10, which I felt was pretty pricey for the dog. The Mac I can understand a more expensive price tag because of the pulled pork, but portion size was still fairly tiny. Not sure if it was an off day or what, but I'm wary to give this truck another chance. If I did I would just order plain dogs, and add my own condiments.

He has an interesting selection of hot sauces so I loaded it down with black truffle hot sauce and yellow mustard. This was a great hot dog! I love the bun it was on, even though I don't think it was a traditional bun. The only thing I really wish most food trucks would have on their menus is a good old fashioned Chicago dog. Also, a lot of them need two types of relish sweet and dill. (My opinion) I'd definitely eat a hotdog here again.
