Needless to say it may have been the best deli sandwich I've ever had. The way the pistachio combined with the prosciutto and mozzarella-but didn't overtake it, was amazing. First off....both bread vehicles were incredible. Just perfect. Oh yeah- the ingredients.... The Casa is filled with perfectly sliced prosciutto, house made mozzarella, sun dried peppers, and balsamic glaze. The balsamic tied everything together beautifully and was a wonderful touch to the sandwich, while the mozz....well...I'll say this... If you ask 10 people on Arthur Ave who makes the best Mozzarella around, and a good number of people are going to tell you it's Casa Della. And I'm here to tell you that their Mozzarella is the truth. It's delicious, creamy, flavorful...it's the kind of stuff that will have you standing in front of the establishment, Casa in hand (and mouth) without a care in the world, or whether or not people are staring at you while you scarf or down.
