    phycocynanin yogurt

Got the small phycocynanjn yogurt & really enjoyed it. I'm not usually a big yogurt person but I liked this one. The texture was different than regular yogurt IMO. Have to choose 5 fruits and I believe 1 dry topping and 1 wet topping. The fruits were relatively sweet and paired well with the yogurt.

A pseudo froyo spot. The yogurt here is sticky and got that THICC texture. Various flavors available. I had the signature. You can ask for samples! Fruits are cut fresh. Staff is nice and helpful. I saw a customer literally put their head under the glass and talk over all the toppings. Very odd and possibly unsanitary. You can scoop your fruits yourself (pay by pound) or have them make your cup or bucket. Fruits are scooped first and covered in that good yogurt. I got dragonfruit, mango, orange, pineapple, and grapefruit. All fresh and cut into good bite sizes!

Great yogurt spot inside Tangram mall on their food court level. They have a ton of topping options to choose from and lots of fruit also which is nice. The yogurt has that thick and sticky texture which made it taste really good, if you're into that type of yogurt texture. The line wasn't super long and they have their flavor options on the signs but can be a little hard to read if you're not standing somewhat close.

No dinner in Flushing is complete without dessert at a secondary location, and Mamie's is fast becoming my preferred sweet treat spot. It's located on the second floor of Tangram Mall, right by the entrance of the food hall. They have yogurt-based drinks but I love coming for their fruit yogurt, which comes in a cute little bucket. You choose five fruits for the base, a yogurt flavor that is drizzled atop, and two toppings. There is a wide variety of fruits and toppings available so you can always try something new. My only complaints are 1) the line to order is set up in a way where you queue up on the left, choose your fruits on the right, and then go back to the left. It's counterintuitive and disrupts the flow and 2) they really need to install a sneeze guard or some sort of cover for hygienic reasons as the fruits are sitting in bowls, open to the passing public. For these reasons, I am subtracting a star. PS- It's $9.79 for a small yogurt, which is important because the card minimum is $10! The blue phycocyanin yogurt tastes like coconuts, if you're curious. Phycocyanin is the pigment-protein complex that gives spirulina its blue color!

The service is fine, but they do close earlier than they're supposed to. It's in a food court, so it's loud. The yogurt isn't what I was expecting, I was hoping for more of a 酸奶 vibe, but it was just yogurt w toppings lmao. Cute packaging tho!!

The yogurt is unique in that it is thick and smooth. We got phycocyanin flavor which goes well with fruits. The yogurt by itself would be too thick to eat without the fruits. The fruits are very fresh and helps balance the thickness of the yogurt. The toppings are quite interesting- I got lychee yogurt and peach cookie. The service was good- they allow you to taste first. It's a cute store. If you're looking to try something relatively healthy for your sweet treats, I'd suggest trying this.

Nothing too special about this place tho I only ordered a mango pineapple yogurt drink. There wasn't much people but they still manage to forget my drink. Luckily I had a recipe because they were looking for the printed order which someone threw out. Not sure I would order anything from here again.

bro. why did i not learn my lesson. i come here for a second time and i STILL come here even though there are so many perfectly good dessert places to go. oh well. but i wanted to try and my friend was like yogurt yum so then we did. we got the bowl where you got to choose like 5 toppings or whatever. anyways we got a BUNCH of fruit and why was it so good. like the FRUIT, which they have no control over, was super good. the yogurt itself. we got like original and it just tasted like cream cheese bro. like ya i get it's fermented and stuff but like. holy. it genuinely tasted sm like cream cheese i just couldn't comprehend it. but it was so bad to our taste buds neither of us could finish. we fr were just eating the fruit. but omggg the fruit was so good like damn the kiwi. wow. anyways DON'T GO HERE future caitlynn. like it's literally bad.

This classic and favorite dessert spot still has its magic. When we arrived, there was a line on both sides- to sit down and the to go order. Since today is our first visit here but not our friends, we patiently waited for our turn to get a table. Corner table is not bad. We picked one of their best selling items- banana split, 2 scoops of ice cream. Comes with free whipped cream , choice of syrup, rainbow sprinkles a cherry. Extra charge for any added item like any toppings. Price is reasonable for the serving size, it can be shared. The server is ready to give extra cutlery. A glass of water should be asked, not automatically given. There is nothing extraordinary for the taste of the ice cream except the fact that all flavors are home made. The 1930's decors, classic kitchen gadgets, existing old style but refurbished furniture's , is selling popular candies in early 30's and original atm machines version still working are things that make this place extraordinary , an additional things to look forward to and keeping customers coming back. A monopoly Queen's edition board game puts a smile on my face when I find out that they are selling it for a good fee and includes a $20 gift card with it. Right away purchased it. Definitely coming back to try their other popular and hot items. By the way when we are about to leave, there was a long line waiting for seats.

There's usually a line of some length during peak hours and especially around the holidays. You can tell by the sheer volume of baked goods and cakes available in their window displays that they sell a lot daily. This location is on the main drag of the little downtown section of Forest Hills, the baked goods in the front window display connect to a tall and long glass counter along the left side of the store that extends almost to the back. At the back middle and along the right side of the wall there's seating for about two dozen people at small cafe tables. They carry an assortment of traditional cakes (full and sliced), pies, cookies, pastries, cheesecakes, cupcakes, ice cream and coffee/tea drinks. A wide variety of flavors in each, so you're bound to find something sweet to satisfy most here. They are a classic bakery so from what I can tell, they don't carry items that are gluten, dairy or nut free. I've purchased their apple pie, fruit tart, berry napoleon, red velvet and chocolate fudge cakes from this or other locations in the past and they're all solid choices for desserts to share with a larger group, though I find a lot of their cake options to be on the richer side. My most recent encounter with their cakes came in the form of a slice of their seven layer cake $9.95 which is thin layers of yellow cake alternating with chocolate cream mmm pretty tasty, and their caramel cake $9.95 which had a layer of chocolate cake in the middle, sandwiched by caramel cream and white cake on either side. The latter had a pronounced caramel flavor that was enjoyable though a bit too much cream for me. My preference would be for their chocolate cakes over other cake flavors here. Their apple pie is one of my favorite apple pies anywhere tho!

Strawberry Nutella $10.83 Sliced fresh strawberries and Nutella are my favorite combination. It is the only crepe that I have a desideratum as nothing else on the menu entice my interest. I would never made it home in one cohesive piece of my long-haul MTA NYC Transit bus ride to southwestern Queens, NYC. The crepe was also messy with the Nutella spewing out when biting and holding the crepe. The Nutella was very delicious and chocolatey. It was prepared in a open-kitchen. Price is standard as expected in 2026 stagflation era. French crepes reminisce me of a past visit to Paris, France of once idyllic times with my former love. Customer service is attentive. The taste was somewhat nostalgic and reminded me of the sandwiches I used to get at a Chinese bakery. I tried the Strawberry Cucumber Iced Tea with lychee jelly, which was very refreshing and reminded me of a spa. Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever.
