This place is so chic! Breakfast was delicious. Service was awesome. The coffee options were so good. Such a fun menu!

On our last morning in NYC, my husband and I stopped in Maman for breakfast. It's in a great location, and had indoor/outdoor seating available. It's also super-quaint inside with lovely decor. We chose to be inside, and could seat ourselves. We found a nice table for 2 and were immediately brought water to the table. We ordered our coffee and latte and browsed the menu. My husband chose the breakfast sandwich and I chose the breakfast wrap. Both were delicious, but I really loved my wrap. We will definitely recommend stopping here for a bite, and I'm sure the lunch is just as great!

This Maman location is very spacious and well decorated, perfect for a weekend brunch or a quick cafe pit stop. 4/5 Blueberry Lavender Matcha -- surprisingly "not too sweet" but the lavender flavor was far more potent than any hint of blueberry. 4/5 Pear Cardamom Croissant -- could have delivered more on both the lamination front as well as a cardamon flavor.

I've been to all their locations and this is one of their bigger and more spacious (seats not too close to others) locations. It's always cozy at all their locations but it's cozier if you get a little nook. Order your food and drinks at the register, someone will bring the food to you. The egg sandwich I got definitely looks WAY better than it tastes. The egg was too perfectly round and tasted like it was cooked in a plastic container and the guacamole was watery. I couldn't eat it. Just come here for their snacks, coffees and other drinks, not for food.

Came back for lunch. Overall, just love the service and atmosphere. Ordered at the register and waitstaff bought over to table. There is a lunchtime crowd but it wasn't stuffy. Ordered the matcha with oat milk and a splash of simple syrup. Not overly sweet or milky. Cesar salad is light and simple. Enough to fuel me for lunch. Serene place where no one bothers you. Clean restrooms.

homemade hazelnut latte with candied hazelnut bits

Visiting friends last weekend in New York and stopped by Maman for a quick pastry and coffee break to get out of the cold. There are plenty of pastries and other items to eat, either to go or have there. I had the hazelnut latte which is the seasonal latte. It was good, a rich nutty flavor that wasn't too sweet. I also got the blood orange and cranberry croissant which was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. While there are a lot of seat, there never seems to be enough space to sit so you have to snag a seat when you can.

I stopped into Maman after having the chocolate pistachio croissant from petit maman- and i knew i wanted that delectable pastry again! On Thursday morning, Maman had quite the line and crowd around 10, but the line moved fast and my cashier was extremely pleasant. I ordered the omelette, another chocolate pistachio croissant, and the honey butter latte. Service was fast and everything was amazing! I was stuffed when i left and couldn't finish the omelette. That croissant is so good, i popped back in line to order another to go for my husband. Very happy to have discovered Maman and will be back!

This Maman cafe is beautiful and spacious. The interior was really nice and a perfect stop for my family to grab a bite and coffee. A lot of different food options ranging from breakfast to hearty sandwiches. The coffee itself didn't taste that great (we ordered a black coffee), but the food was good, and it has a cute ambiance. Service is great too, despite not taking your order at the table, since the staff is constantly on the floor and is easy to flag and take questions.

The first time I tried anything from Maman was at the location near Rockefeller Center. Their chocolate chip cookie was sooo tasty. But the location was super crowded. This new location here in Flatiron is beautiful. They took the space that once housed City Bakery and transformed it to a nice sit down space with a nice garden and relaxing vibe. I always get the matcha latte (see photo). I've had breakfast there as well. The baked goods are definitely what they're known for, but the savory options are quite tasty as well. Staff is always pleasant. This is a good location for a quiet meet-up and a quick afternoon pick me up.

This place surpassed my expectations. Perfect place to go for a casual lunch/coffee date with a friend. So vibey in there and popping - ran into two friends randomly so clearly this was the place to be & it was so large with plenty of seating. Hazelnut latte had some crunchy hazelnut flavor and the estee's bacon egg & cheese was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I had in a long time- perfect for lighter appetites. My friend loved his breakfast sandwich as well. Ordering/service was seamless.

I loved this maman. It's a huge space and well decorated for the holidays. Very comfortable environment for just a nice relaxing afternoon.

Cute and cozy spot, fast service and delicious pastries & drinks. Ideal for a quick bite or 2-person meeting.

Really loved Maman! Their coffee is on the sweeter side, which is exactly how I like it. If you're not into sweet coffee, I'd recommend skipping the flavored options since the regular coffee might be plenty sweet for you on its own. We also got a Nutella brownie to split and it was unreal. The whole place is decorated super cute and has such a cozy vibe, perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. Bonus points if you can snag an outdoor seat on a nice fall day!

We worked with Eric via email and he was great managing and making sure everything was settled ahead of the event. On the day of our lunch, we arrived around 20 minutes early and the table was already set up. We had two servers throughout the meal and they were lovely. They made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed. For a large group reservation, they have a $60 minimum and you order everything ahead of time. (The afternoon tea set is mandatory for everyone to get). We had the afternoon tea set, caprese tarts and strawberry parfait for all attendees. The food was filling and tasty. Tea is always so good as well (I always get my Rose Lovers Milk Tea!) All in all, a great option for a group reservation in the city!

The size of both were the perfect amount since we just wanted something small to end the night. The ube crepe cake was really light and creamy. The ube flavor was pretty subtle, and I mostly tasted the cream. It's a perfect light dessert, but I would've liked the ube flavor to be stronger. The chocolate lava cake was super rich and decadent but also really delicious. I feel like it kinda battled with the ube crepe cake since they're total opposites. The staff were friendly. The interior was really cute and had a relaxing type of atmosphere that made it great for a nice place to sit, chat, and have dessert.

When I went at 7pm on a Thursday, they ran out of some of the ssal cake flavors, but luckily they still had the mugwort flavor which was the one I was aiming for. The plain cream one looks very angelic and attractive with the pale whiteness but for $1.50 more, I'd rather get a flavored version. Also I recall others saying that the plain one is a bit tasteless. The ssal cake ended up being super airy and light, even softer than a chiffon cake imo. It doesn't have oiliness, roughness, or acidity. Likewise, the cream matches the gentleness of the cake. The structure is interesting too, because the top layer of cream is thick, then a thin layer of cake, then a thin layer of cream, and a thick layer of ssal cake. When I eat it, I often get hit with the thick layer of cream on top while wishing there's more cake. Don't get me wrong, I like all components of it. I've had mugwort before but not super familiar with it. For those who've never had it before, mugwort tastes herbally and earthy kind of like the Chinese herb prunella vulgaris (?). The flavor here is strong but not in your face aggressive. I like how they dust the whole top with more mugwort powder which adds to the flavor and provides another layer of texture that's not overly dry (slightly messy tho!) I like how the mugwort is a greyish shade of green which honestly looks so chic and unique compared to other bright and colorful desserts nowadays. You can argue that the color looks dull, but I like it. My only complaints for the ssal cake are: 1) wish it came in a smaller size which would be easier to stomach (literally) and financially, 2) wish the cakes were in perfect squares. They're more rectangular without straight edges and 90 degree corners.
