I do love a local coffee shop, and Telegraphe certainly is that. I also like it when coffee shops have food options, and Telegraphe has quite a few from breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast to salads to lunch. However, the vibes are just off somehow at Telegraphe. It feels like it's trying to be old school without being old school, it's trying to have a perspective, but doesn't really have a perspective, and it is leaning into being local, but then not being a friendly warm place for a coffee. Nothing is bad about this place. The coffee is good, the breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast are totally fine, but I'd rather have a bodega sandwich than what they're serving here. Why? I mean it's just everything tastes fine. There's so little perspective. The breakfast sandwiches have swiss cheese, that's how little perspective they have - they're literally going out of their way to have the most boring cheese. I come here once every 5-6 years, and i'm no more impressed than i was the last time I was here. read more

I love a coffee shop that also has food options. I stopped in to grab a quick breakfast and ended up getting an egg, Swiss cheese and turkey ham on a bagel. It was pretty good. And of course I grabbed a coffee. They offer a variety of coffee drinks. I opted for a cappuccino - it was pleasantly strong. Like most coffee shops, the vibe is cozy. Dropped by this spot before heading into the Renegade Craft Fair. I wanted a nice, filling breakfast, and this place did not disappoint. Choose the egg salad sandwich on a toasted everything bagel based on unanimous raving about it in reviews, and it did not disappoint! Bagel was perfect, the avocado and tomato fresh, and the sauce absolutely delicious. Was a bit messy to eat, but it was worth it. Place is pretty small with limited seating, especially during meal hours. The line to order was almost out the door! Luckily, I got a stool by the window. One star off because of the B rating. After leaving, a guy on the street gasped, "omg they have a B!" and kept walking. 10/10 would still return when I'm in the area though. read more

Lovely little coffee shop. On the weekends it can be packed especially if there is an event at the Metropolitan Center next door. Be prepared to wait in line. But early in the week it is much less crowded and you can typically find a seat. The coffee is great. They have a nice selection of baked goods and the baristas are very friendly. read more

Yelp brought me to this cute cafe right off of 6th and my very hungry and coffee needing self was extremely grateful for the find! They have a bunch of tables, a counter lined with high top chairs and a big enclosed outdoor section. I wanted a place I could kick back and relax for a bit and I definitely found it. The baristas were super kind and never rushed me (even though I took way too long to order - it's a big menu!) The good: lots of seating! Inside and out. lots of folks on their laptop so my guess is the wifi is strong and they don't mind if you linger awhile. great coffee. I got an oat latte and it was hot and strong. Not too long of a wait at all! The meh: Honestly didn't love the egg and cheese sandwich. I got mine on a toasted everything bagel and thought it needed a lot more salt or flavor or something. Solid cafe, love their spiced chai latte. Their lentil soup is very hearty and pretty delicious, and their sandwiches are great. Seems like a splurge but really on par with anything else out there these days. Staff is super friendly and seems like a decent place to get work done if you're lucky to be here off peak. Popped in to this little cafe today on my way to the wework nearby. I told myself "im gonna just find a cafe nearby and try it" rather than specifically finding one on yelp and going to it. and luckily the odds worked in my favor! I really enjoyed this place! Super quant cafe on a local residential block. Plenty of options for breakfast from bagels to croissants to sandwiches. I popped in on a random Monday morning with 2 little ones in tow and we had a great time. I got a Cortado and we also got a ham / cheese croissant, a plain croissant, and a caramel filled donut. Solid coffee shop- I ordered an iced vanilla latte and the egg salad avocado sandwich- about $13. There's lots of tables and seating, chill enough to work on things or just relax for a bit. Food and drink came out quickly and he even brought them to my table. Latte- delicious & hit the spot for some espresso without being too sweet or milky. Sandwich- Popular menu item but the multigrain roll I had with it was a little too dry when toasted so I recommend un-toasted. Also was expecting more egg/chopped up egg salad scoop kind of thing. Everyone at Telegraphe has always been very sweet. All of my coworkers come in often as it is down the street from us. You really can't go wrong with anything you order, as everything is delicious. I usually get the croissant breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and prosciutto. It's always perfectly made, toasted & cooked properly. The sandwiches are also very delicious, the caprese being my favorite. I have seen they have a fair amount of pastries and sweet treats. The donut with dulce de leche calls my name everytime but one day I will cave in. The space is also really nice with a small indoor seating area and a cozy outdoor area as well. Couldn't ask for more out of a neighborhood cafe. read more

We were visiting the Container Store nearby and this was the closest cafe around, a perfect little spot for some coffee after a lot of walking around. Neat little space but looked pretty full on a Sunday afternoon. We took a quick ice double cappuccino with oat milk to-go and the service was quick. Almost all the pastries and croissants on the counter were empty though. I was happy to see stevia and honey as options for sweeteners. But I am not a regular coffee drinker, so couldn't one finish one half of the small cup, the double coffee was a bit strong for me. read more

I've been going to this coffee shop since before Covid. The employees are super kind and helpful. My go to is an ice coffee with oat milk - it's the best coffee I've ever had, and it always turns out the same every time. Their pastries are also delicious. There are a lot of things about this cafe that I appreciate. I appreciate the free WiFi/charging stations, the fact that it provided a cozy place for me to dodge the rain, the fact that they have both indoor and outdoor seating, and most importantly, the fact that they have a bathroom. That being said, I ordered the hot chocolate and although it looked beautiful and the flavor was decent, it tasted pretty powdery to me and as such, definitely wasn't worth the 4 bucks I paid for it.
