I will say, when there was a line, one barista didn't seem like nearly enough. The line would get pretty long and took longer to get your coffee. I love the Sand Dollar latte. I mentioned that it was our anniversary and asked if we could sit there. The owner told us no because it was reserved for a larger party. However, throughout our entire meal and until we left, no one ever sat at that booth or any of the other open tables. To make matters worse, another party of four later asked to move to that exact booth and was allowed to sit there. We also ordered specialty coffee drinks that were quite expensive, but they didn't arrive until after our food was served. Then, while eating, I bit into the seed that had been left in the avocado. It was especially disappointing because our first visit had been so positive. We chose to come back to celebrate a special occasion, but the poor communication, inconsistent treatment of guests, and issues with the food and service left us frustrated. Unfortunately, what started as a great first impression turned into a disappointing anniversary experience. We expected much better, especially from the owner.
