The good servers they used to have no longer work there. Not sure what is happening with this business, but we don't go anymore, unfortunately. He asked my name, but never paused his call and quietly muttered that my order was not ready. What made the situation worse was his appearance and behavior. His shorts were worn halfway down, exposing his underwear, which is completely inappropriate for someone working in a food establishment. Even more concerning, while still on his phone, he repeatedly had his hand inside his shorts as I stood there waiting. Meanwhile, every other staff member around him appeared to be working diligently, but he continued his call as though he had no responsibility to the customers. When my order was finally ready, he took another delivery order and walked from the back of the restaurant out the front door--never once breaking away from his conversation. This type of unprofessional behavior does not reflect well on Papa John's. Employees should be held to a higher standard of conduct and presentation, especially in a food service environment. At the very least, it should be mandatory for staff to wear their clothing properly and maintain basic professionalism when interacting with customers. Absolutely ridiculous.
