The inside was very clean and the staff was hard at work. We ordered off the kiosk and got to spend as much time as needed figuring out what we wanted to order. I got the sweet & spicy bacon burger, fries and an OJ. My husband got a double Whataburger with fries and a fountain drink. Our food was brought out by a very pleasant and polite young lady with orange in her hair. I'm sad I didn't catch her name as she was wonderful! My OJ was missing but she had no problem grabbing me one when asked! We tried a fry on the way home, and I'm glad we did. We have about a 15 min drive and the fries did not hold up hot and fresh. They were still good, but that first car fry was amazing! We'll definitely dine in or eat the fries in the car next visit! The burgers were phenomenal. They were full of flavor and the toppings complemented them nicely! They were nice and hot when we got home as well! Only downside was the missing sauces in our bag. Not a deal breaker and I should have checked before we left, but it's okay! We have ketchup at home and I hadn't yet decided how to use my ranch! Great experience and we will be back to this location!

My husband got the #2, which is the Double Whataburger with fries and a drink. We waited do about 5-10 min for our food. We both agreed the burgers were pretty big and were pretty good. I should have asked for light mustard. It had more mustard than what I usually like, but it was okay. There weren't many onions on my burger. I couldn't taste them at all. The fries were hot, crispy and pretty good as well. Not sure what all the hype was about and the long lines in drive-thru when they first opened because I've had better. Would I go again? Maybe.

Want a high end fine dining level burger but in a casual counter order joint? This is your spot!…read more I can't say enough about the quality of the burgers they make here. But first, let's talk about the amazing sides. Crispy tots, hand battered onion rings, and a mac n cheese to blow your lid off...these were the bomb! But the burger took this place to another level. The meat is tender and cooked perfectly. I'm a medium rare steak man, but I like my burgers at a solid medium. They cooked it to perfection. A tender and thick patty with an amazing crust. The kicker is the smoky flavor you get throughout. Add in a fresh brioche bun and amazing toppings, and you have a perfect burger from top to bottom. And they're not short on variety either. If you can think it, they can make it. Great location with plenty of parking and a super friendly staff. This is only a 10 minute drive for us so we'll be frequenting this location quite a bit now that we've tried it. You won't go wrong with anything here.

I walked out overloaded, slowed down, and spiritually fed. Soon as my shoe touched that floor -- NOTHING robotic. NOTHING dry. They locked eyes, smiled, welcomed me in, and THANKED me for coming. That already told me this wasn't one of them "hurry up and order" trap kitchens. This was care. This was pride. First time ever in there, and the menu started whispering threats. Too many bangers. Too many possibilities. I'm standing there sweating like I'm about to defuse a bomb. Then the manager slid over and dropped the legendary words: "Try the meats... (pause)." And listen... They weren't playing with me. Samples started landing in my hands like stimulus checks. Fresh off the grill. Steam still gossiping. Seasoning disrespectful. Meat tender like it knew it was special. One taste had my eyebrows raised. Two tastes had me pacing. Three tastes made me forget my original plan. By the time I finished sampling, I wasn't choosing food -- I was drafting a first-round pick. I locked in on the carne and the chicken salad, and the second that plate hit my hands, I knew I had made a life-altering decision. This food had: Flavor that argue back Seasoning that don't ask permission Meat so soft it surrender immediately Portions so heavy they felt personal Halfway through I was full. Three-quarters through I was bargaining with my stomach. At the finish line I was victorious... but humbled. NOW LET ME GET IGNANT FOR A SECOND... MOE'S? That's cafeteria confidence. SALSARITA'S? That's "we trying" energy. CHIPOTLE? That's luxury pricing for struggle scoops. All three of them combined still can't match the portion weight, flavor pressure, and respect level Burrito Shak putting out SOLO. Them other places be like: - Light on the rice - Nervous with the meat - Attitude behind the counter - And energy like you inconveniencing them Burrito Shak be like: Heavy scoop on everything Seasoning with intention Food actually hot Service actually fast Staff that actually like people This ain't fast food behavior This that "we tryna dominate the block" behavior. TY = OFFICIAL CERTIFIED REAL ONE Now shout-out Ty -- service was locked in from the first second to the last bite. No rushing, no fake energy, no confusion. Everything smooth, professional, and handled with pride. That's the type of person that turn a first visit into a permanent return. And the whole crew moved the same way. No weak links. No bad attitudes. No laziness. That kind of unity dangerous in the food game. FINAL VERDICT -- NO FILTER This wasn't just "good." This was aggressively good. The food smacked. The portions violated. The service uplifted. The vibe confirmed. I walked in hollow. I walked out patch-worked together with rice, meat, and happiness. If you still bouncing between Moe's, Chipotle, and Salsarita's, I don't know what trauma you loyal to -- but you deserve better. It's a more beachy themed casual burrito joint in the vein of a Moe's or Chipotle. I'd say after my experience that it kind of slots in the middle, not as pricey as a Chipotle, maybe a bit more so than Moe's, but better flavors. When I went yesterday the staff was friendly and attentive, even engaging with customers that already had their food a bit. Order was taken, prepared, and paid for quickly and the restaurant was very clean. Hard to ask for more from the staff. I ordered an Aloha burrito with pork as my protein, and had it prepped pretty much exactly as it is described on the menu, but also added some corn and fresh jalapenos for a kick. Came with chips which were good and fresh, and sauntered up to the salsa bar. The winner on the salsa bar was the chipotle salsa for sure. The salsa verde was very bland, and the medium pineapple salsa verde thing... actually had turned. You could see bubbles in the salsa, and upon tasting, it was fermenting! As pineapple tends to do if you let the acids work. Anyhow, the burrito was aligned with my expectation. Pretty tasty, but nothing that would have me raving about it. Some of the ingredients couldn't be tasted at all, others like the pineapple slaw stood out as flavorful. The pork itself, was both moist and dry. You know, that texture when shredded pork sits in it's juices for too long, like a crock pot. I would definitely choose a different protein next time, maybe the fish. Overall, an ordinary, but solid experience. I don't see myself making a special trip, but wouldn't turn it down if someone wanted to go there.

We had a short window of time to grab lunch so I needed a place that was quick, delicious, with a twist of fun. Insert Yelpers. You did not disappoint! We arrived at Scratch around 1:45pm. We were waited on immediately but we were not ready. They patiently waited as we looked at the menu and decided then undecided then decided. There were so many possibilities that we were intentionally making each other get different dishes. Once we ordered, we sat at the table and enjoyed talking and watching soccer. The large windows made me feel like I was sitting on an indoor patio. The food arrived about 10-15 minutes after we ordered. Here's what we had: Cajun Seafood egg rolls - I could taste the seafood and the Cajun flavor but the texture was too pasty for me. Crispy Wings with fries scratch sauce - It was flavorful and definitely crispy. Tender and waffle sticks - My son loved the waffle sticks. Chicken n waffles - My sister said her chicken was juicy and crispy and her waffle was amazing. Overall the food and the customer service left us feeling like we made a good choice. This is definitely a great spot for all the chicken lovers out there.
