Having moved back on this side if the county, it's a great place for a pizza. Staff is always friendly when I order take out.

We used to eat here on a weekly basis for our date night and loved it. Their pizza is fantastic. Service has gone very downhill. The bartenders are terrible. It takes forever to get a drink and "they" are the type that is there for a paycheck and nothing else. You feel as if you are an inconvenience. Don't really love any of the appetizers except for the bang bang shrimp. Everything else is frozen and not really appetizing as an appetizer should be. The servers need training. The good servers they used to have no longer work there. Not sure what is happening with this business, but we don't go anymore, unfortunately. Two stars just for the pizza but if you want good service, This is not the place. We go to Elizabeth's now. read more

Loved the atmosphere, its calm and everyone was friendly. Our server was great and checked on us to ensure our experience was great. We ordered Calamari for appetizer, which normally comes with marinara, but we are the sweet chilly type which our server gladly swapped out for us. I ordered the Linguini Pescatore that comes with a light sauce and truly loved it. The dish also comes with bread. If you are a sauce/dipping sauce be prepared to pay extra for each. read more

What a pleasant surprise! We were listening to a band at a near by bottle shop and got hungry. We ordered a large, meat lovers from Luigi's next door. Just the right amount of tanginess in the house made sauce. Lots of savory toppings and the perfect amount of cheese. Hand tossed crust was just the right thickness and was cooked to perfection! This is an interesting restaurant. It's not just a pizza takeout place. It is a full-service Italian restaurant located in the strip center. It has two entrances. One for the dining room, which was packed. And the other to the kitchen where takeout orders and delivery orders are placed. The white staff was very friendly. The young man that took our order was completely thorough and said it'll take about 25 minutes. So I went back to the bottle shop. I set an alarm for 25 minutes and went back to the pizza restaurant to pick up my pizza. He apologized profusely, said they got slammed and that it wasn't quite ready. I said no problem. Certainly don't want it undercooked. Only a short time later our pizza came out of the oven with sliced and put in a box. Hang along with the Pizza. I always handed a great piece of chocolate cake for dessert on the house for the weight. I later found out that I could've just called in my pizza and they would've delivered it next-door to the bottle shop had no additional charge. Lots of people in the bottle shop. We're eating dinner from Luigi's pizza. I can highly recommend the pizza. I don't know what else to say. It's really really good. I had eaten in the restaurant side several years ago, and my recollection was the food. There was also good. More than just pizza lots of tasty, savory sandwiches, but also main course entrées andsome house specialties. Next time you're in the area of Summerfield, North Carolina (near Greensboro), I can highly recommend Luigi's for either a quick takeout or a nice dine in experience. Luigis is always a favorite of ours because it's convenient from our house and depending on what you get, it can be a slam dunk. We usually get takeout which is a quick and easy process. This go round we decided to eat inside and it was a pleasant experience. They were busy on a Saturday evening but no mind because our service was quick and efficient. The food here is the thing that can be hit or miss. I've figured out that I don't like their pizzas or subs. BUT their chicken parmesan is sooo crave-able. So that's my go to along with their garlic knots. It was my first time trying the mussels and I loved those as well! Our cocktails not so much, so I'd probably save your money there. Nice Italian food in a small modern space. I visited Luigi's for the first time last night and had a great time. The space is small, clean, and filled with happy diners. I started with the garlic knots. They were small and a little dense, but were wonderfully garlic-buttered and served with a thick marinara. My entreee, the eggplant parmigiana, was really nice. The most impressive part of the meal was the crispy breading on the eggplant. I was also able to customize my meal by choosing angel hair pasta instead of the two choices listed (spaghetti and penne). The sauce wasn't my favorite. It was thick and wasn't very warm. The rest of my dish was warm and delish though! Also, the portion was hearty, so I had leftovers. Service was quick and friendly. Also, they were able to split the bill without issue between different members of my group. An advantage of this place is that there are several other fun spots in the same plaza. The Village Beverage Co. is right across the small parking lot. So, if you're trying to have a nice night out, you can easily hit both spots! Overall, I'd visit Luigi's again! read more

I joined a group of friends for dinner here last night and was surprised at how good everything was. It was busy and on the smallish side inside the dining room but everything was delicious. Everyone I was dining with thoroughly enjoyed their food. I ordered the cheeseburger since my lunch was on the larger size. The burger was average size, very well cooked and seasoned very well, and the battered fries were delicious. My wife and I also shared a small order of garlic knots. They were so tasty!! read more

Okay I have been holding off on writing a review for Luigis because my first few experiences (back during Covid) were not the best and we stopped coming in. Not to mention I do not like writing negative reviews. Moving on to the present... In the last few months we have decided to give Luigis another shot and I am sure glad we did. We have come in a minimum of one lunch and dinner a week. I love that they have lunch/dinner menu specials and some sort of special running for every night of the week. Everything we have ordered has been fresh and tasty. My favorite thing I have ordered recently was the garlic lemon shrimp with cauliflower risotto. The flavors were outstanding and risotto was perfect! I think they should make this a staple menu item, just saying!! We usually sit at the bar and the service is always friendly, prompt, and helpful. We enjoy chatting up the bartenders! If you're in the area definitely recommend Luigi's read more

Tonight was my first time here. I started with the spicy cauliflower bites. They were crispy and spicy but nothing I would order again. I added the garlic knots which were good. They were on a plate in a bed of melted butter with marinara sauce. I thought they were pretty good. I ordered the Philly Steak and it was juicy. I liked it and will try some pasta next time. I tasted a friends Chicken Parm with Penne pasta and it was pretty good. The wine was half off tonight and I had the Malbec which was very good! They have a generous beer and wine menu along with liquors. We will be back to try more foods! read more

Food is usually great, but if you have Celiac Disease, beware. I asked how the GF pizza they advertise is cooked (is it in the same oven and on what surface, etc...) and the man in a white chef's coat said "the 500° oven will kill off any gluten." As those with this disease well know, that is false. I highly advise that the restaurant better train their staff to either (1) give an adequate disclaimer and not make false statements regarding food safety for some customers, or (2) properly train staff on how to make food safe for those customers if they want to continue to advertise it as gluten free. I wouldn't feel safe ordering the GF pasta under these circumstances. read more

It's been a few months since our last order but the pizza we got tonight was visibly smaller, thinner crust, and not as great a taste. We just left this restaurant this evening. We as in myself and my 2 toddlers one of which is special needs. The food was good as normal. Unfortunately there was no AC and we were not told by the host when we arrived. I mentioned the temperature many times to our waitress and she could only apologize. I would have left but anyone who knows what it takes as a single parent especially one with special needs what it takes to get in a restaurant and settled...that being said we had already ordered before it got really hot. I had to fan my kids the entire time. Not to mention my son refused to eat bc it was so hot. The waitress could see our distress and offered to help box everything up. I paid, tipped, and exited the building. I then called from the parking lot to speak with the manager on duty. I tried to explain to him that is some that should have been addressed at the time of arrival. That way the patron had the decision to stay, eat outside, or leave. The waiters and waitress were all sweating. Other patrons were complaining as well. He very nonchalantly apologized and said it was out of his hands and nothing he could do. It would be fixed in a week or so. I tried to explain to him no one ants to pay those prices for 2 kid meal, one entree, and sweat the entire time. Again nothing he can do. No comp for future meals. Luigi's was dynamite, quick service, quick bar. Respectable prices. My only complaints, and they're minor ones: -the bar made the worst Manhattan I've had all year. That being said, every other drink was spot on. -the special, a brown butter gnocchi, came out dry. Exceptionally dry. Unpleasantly so. They quickly made an impromptu sauce to recover it, though. Additionally, everything that was on the paper menu was spot on. -took about 15 minutes for the servers to debate who had our table. I am losing faith in Luigi's. Not sure what happened, but they have been just horribly unreliable lately. The food is still good, but they have messed up our last three orders. One time, we ordered a vegetarian pizza and got a meat lovers. Another time I ordered the large entree salad and got a side salad. There have been other issues lately. Very disappointed. Ate here on Wednesday night and took advantage of their 1/2 priced apps! The garlic knots are fantastic and we also tried the calamari and bada bing shrimp. The calamari was good but not sure the membrane had been pulled as the rings were a little stringy. We ordered several different entrees including pizzas, a cranberry salad, ravioli, and the lasagna. Pizza was excellent (fyi... little pricey if you start adding multiple ingredients) and my wife's salad was great. My lasagna was pretty good and the portion was huge but I wasn't blown away by it. My son really liked his ravioli but the sauce/pasta ratio was a little sauce heavy. Our server was excellent and although the place is small, it has a great ambience and local feel. I had a wonderful meal here about 2 weeks ago. I had just finished my physical therapy session at 4pm and decided to give this place a try. I ate outside in the dining area in front of the restaurant. I ordered one of the specials of the day: cheese ravioli with meat sauce. It was absolutely fantastic. The fresh baked bread was served warm and delicious. My server was extremely attentive and very kind. The only thing keeping me from giving my experience 5 stars is that I believe the food is pricey for the amount you get. But all in all a fantastic first experience. read more

Half of the dozen knots we got were hard and tough as if it was microwaved before giving it to us. Not enjoyable to eat so he threw them out. The waiters are super friendly when you come in and they help you out very nicely on your order, I got a really great self serve pizza and had garlic knots that slapped with the tomato sauce. Inside had a comfortable seat and tiny sweet bar. Nobody disses this place. read more
