Huge space for live music, karaoke and game room. The bar tender was very nice. We ordered flight of beer and wings, potstickers and fries for food. Everything was great. The service was excellent. The bar tender is very nice to talk to. Brings good energy. Recommend sitting at the table if you don't have a large party. Karaoke singers were great too. Decently crowded space. The Caesar salad was well dressed but was missing the salty umami flavor I come to expect with Caesar it almost tasted a bit bland but the romaine used was fresh and I appreciated the crunch/green it offered my meal, I don't think I'd recommend it being worth the upcharge and will probably try another side when returning. The fries are handcut and delicious, they also have old bay along with the typical salt & pepper on the table which when sprinkled on to the fries definitely take it up a notch. My crabs were phenomenal, perfectly fried and the butter sauce they provided with it was a delicious addition for dipping. My partner got a pulled pork sandwich and he shared that it was very good. It had a nice vinegar kick expected from Carolina BBQ. Our server Zachary was also extremely attentive and made sure we had our meals, waters were topped off and gave us any and all accoutrements we could need when asked. Overall, we had a great experience at Old Rapp Taphouse, we went on a Saturday night and found there to be a steady stream of people coming in and out but still received such great service and food. The eggs were mass-produced and had an odd flavor, the roast was dry and fatty, the sausage had an odd texture, and the mac and cheese was soggy. Most of the other items were just average, and nothing really stood out. Unfortunately most of the family wasn't a fan wasn't able to finish or eat, with most of kids left hungry, which was frustrating considering what we paid per person. It has a percentage of sales going to a charity. I am a fan of red/amber beer so this is the second or third year for us going. This brewery is a little off the beaten path but it is a nice place to go and have a beer. The staff are nice and service has always been good for us.
