But they honestly did great work. These guys seriously had to work their tails off. They had to take five trips to the dump even after mulching every branch because the tree was that far of a grun. I got a reply not even ten minutes later, and a concrete plan to come out at a time that worked for me later that same week for a free consultation. The man who came out was the son of the owner. He was on time, very friendly, and gave a fair quote. There is no high pressure sales tactics in sight- just a good honest guy and a real family run business. I hired them after a day or two and they scheduled me in for this past Monday. They were here bright and early at 9 am. The crew was respectful of my house and very professional. They cleared that gigantic bush in around two hours. They cleaned up everything afterwards too! Overall, I can't recommend them enough! They are everything that you could want in a business: on time, efficient, clean, and have great communication. Save yourself the trouble- call these guys first.

Not sure whether to give 1, 2, or 3 stars. This is an update to a prior 5-star review last October…read more I've used Jose twice, and both times were great. He showed up on time, did great work, cleaned up, and his price was competitive. I thought I had someone I could use going forward and refer to others in my community. Last week I called for him to remove two small tree/shrubs. I needed it done within the next few days, and I acknowledged that he might not be able to come on such short notice. He said he could come and I sent him photos of the two small trees along with a 5' palm tree that I was hoping he could add onto the project. He didn't respond to the text, but that was ok because I trusted that he'd come at 8:00 a.m. the next day, as planned. Jose never showed up, and he didn't respond to my phone calls and texts. The voice mail on the other end was in Spanish, and I couldn'tunderstand it. I thought perhaps it was saying something to the effect that someone was sick and they were behind in their work, something that would explain the no-show. No one called or texted. I'm very disappointed, but I will find someone else for my tree work going forward. He can do great work, but only if he shows up. When this kind of thing happens, it's a deal-killer for me. And I am very disappointed. I finally decided on 1 star, which is "not good," because 2 stars is "could have been better" and 3 stars is "ok." I waited to put out this review on the possible chance that he'd get back to me with an explanation and apology, but it hasn't happened.
