They took the car from an unposted area, created a bill out of thin air, and then used that pressure to walk away with the title. The place where we had to leave the vehicle had surveillance cameras and they gladly showed us that they were not involved in the thief of the converter. There's other towing services out there besides them. If you don't care if your converter gets cut off by this company then hire them. They lost this family as a customer.

I would strongly advise against using Tow Masters Towing & Recovery in the Johnson City area or…read moreallowing them to be dispatched by law enforcement. My recent experience was highly unprofessional and unacceptable. When I called, the individual who answered the phone initially did not speak. After I inquired about a vehicle being picked up by Agero, he launched into an unprofessional tirade about how Agero had cost him a significant amount of money and that he would never work with them again. Rather than assisting with the matter at hand, he focused on venting his frustrations in a manner that was completely inappropriate--especially considering that an insurance representative was on the call attempting to coordinate a vehicle move for collision repair. This behavior reflects poorly on the company and is not what anyone should expect from a professional towing service. If you are ever in an accident in the Johnson City area, I strongly recommend choosing another company.

Fast forward to that afternoon, we were told the bill would be around $350. This was outrageous to us, as AAA would've been free. We arrive at his office to pay the bill and see a SIGN on the front gate saying that he charges $110 per tow(which is still expensive) and only $25 a day for holding, instead of the $200/tow and $50/day he was currently charging. When we brought this up to him, he reacted to us very poorly and began to catch an attitude with us. All in all, avoid using this man if possible. He runs a scummy and shady business. However, it appears as though he has a deal with the Johnson City Police Department, to screw other college students.
