If i could rate this company 0 stars, I would. The other weekend me and my girlfriend got into an accident, and despite telling the officer we were on the phone with AAA, they still called this shady business. Fast forward to that afternoon, we were told the bill would be around $350. This was outrageous to us, as AAA would've been free. We arrive at his office to pay the bill and see a SIGN on the front gate saying that he charges $110 per tow(which is still expensive) and only $25 a day for holding, instead of the $200/tow and $50/day he was currently charging. When we brought this up to him, he reacted to us very poorly and began to catch an attitude with us. All in all, avoid using this man if possible. He runs a scummy and shady business. However, it appears as though he has a deal with the Johnson City Police Department, to screw other college students. read more

Overcharged, extra damage/theft to my car, after the extremely poor customer service, using the most foul language, I have ever heard, and are known*, for taking advantage of people in need!! After charging enough to put the vehicle up in a 4 star hotel in the penthouse, yet they were demanding to be paid in cash, because they said they couldn't process a credit card, in 2024. This should be a 0 star review, because if you don't read their mind, you will get cursed up/down, and they WILL steal/switch, anything you leave in your vehicle, and are not above switching out your key Fob's microchip, either?! if you enjoy abuse, Low Rape Towing, is the place for you! This is the absolute worst towing company I have ever had the experience of working with. After our vehicle was stolen it was impounded to this lot and the fees they wanted to charge were astronomical for us to get our stolen vehicle back and we were pretty much coerced into giving the title up and letting them have the vehicle. While getting our belongings out and Battery the owner stood and watched as my girlfriend and I struggled to exvhange them. They are very rude and the farthest thing from friendly I've ever seen. One Star is FAR too many stars for this so called business! My car was totaled in an accident and this was the company the JC Police called to come get it. After my car had sat at their lot for a week, the ins. said we needed to remove it to our home. We called to have it towed to our house and we were told that A) The bill would have to be paid in full IN CASH (no cards or checks) at the time of delivery and B) they had NO IDEA how much we owed, not even a ball park figure. Evidently most people have ATMs in their homes to be able to just produce an undisclosed amount in the moment. When we protested this, we were told to just hire another company to come get it and go to the office to pay the bill. Which is what we did. When I went to the office to pay the bill, I was treated with so much disrespect i could hardly believe it. I was told to "check my attitude" when I asked how much we owed. I was told I was the "rudest person" he had ever come across and that he hoped that I treated other people better than him or else I lived in a sad sorry world. I paid the bill (which was outrageous and I am certain was jacked up due to him being mad at me,) and left. Upon getting home to upload the receipts to the ins company, I noticed that the hand written receipt and the credit card receipt (they take cards at the office) were slightly different so I called to ask why. I was again yelled at and sworn at. When i asked to please not be treated like a child i was told that if he were MY child, he would " gladly blow my own f***ing head off." I hung up on him. When our other tow company showed up, he refused to release the car because he said there was a problem with the bill. I called him and threatened to call the Police if he didn't release the car in 30 seconds, the bill was paid in full. After more yelling and swearing, he finally released the car and that was the end. I could NOT believe I was treated so incredibly rudely and feel 100% certain that this so called man would never have talked to another man the way he spoke to me. I do NOT understand why this company is even on the list of companies that the Police use at the scene of accidents. They should be out of business and never allowed to have anything to do with the public again. They are the ABSOLUTE WORST. This is the most rudest, disrespectful towing company I've ever came across! The person I spoke to acted as if he didn't have time for my questions and spoke to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. I called to get a price on hauling off 2 cars to the scrap yard, but he said he bought cars to scrap and it would be cheaper and less liability so he started asking me a few questions about the cars. But you would of thought I smacked him in the face when I told him I was keeping the tires from the BMW. He said why to scrap the rims separately? I said no actually I'm using them on my car. He immediately cut me off and said "oh I'm not interested, I don't want either one bye!" (with a tone) And hung up on me! I didn't even ask you if you wanted to buy them dip-shit. I asked you to haul them! I wouldn't sale you the dirt off my shoes much less a car! He wasn't really nice or helpful from the get go and obviously had no intentions on doing his job with respect and consideration. Bad attitude, bad business, poor service, disrespectful and rude to customers and to act this way to a female? ... I was broke down near the Exit 13. The service I got from this company, I wasn't to impressed. First, the driver told me that he had to drop my vehicle off at the Virginia Tennessee state line..In which he charged me out standish figure..I had to get another towing company to take my vehicle rest of the way..The driver used language that wasn't pleasing to hear. read more
