This is our 4th time here and 2nd time bringing our grandson. The lots are wooded, clean and larger than most. It is a kid and pet friendly spot with a lot to do. There are hiking paths in back of park in which we ride our bikes around. My grandson loves the pool, playground, basketball and game room. He also does chores for quarters to get items from the gumball machines. The people that utilize this space are genuinely friendly. Two years ago, we had a blast 4th of July where everyone decorated space and those that had golf carts, for parade and karaoke. First visit here, we found ourselves observers in a barbecue cookoff event in the park which was really interesting. I definitely recommend and enjoy being out in the wilderness!

They CHOSE not to do the same and honor their end of it. It has now been almost two weeks and not a single return call from this campground. My wife and I wanted to stay there one night. Because it was right before 4th of July the prices…read morewent up. Then we were told it was a 2 night minimum because of the holiday and that they needed to have rooms for those that wanted to stay more then one night. Then when we checked in we were told we could have a room for just one night. So after checking in we put a few things in the room and went to do what we were going to do. When we came back we found that the room had no phone. It also had no wifi and the tv only got one channel, Hispanic music. We also felt like we were being watched and as I checked the room, it looked as if one of the two smoke detectors had a camera in it. So I found a way to cover it. No sooner do I cover it, the manager comes banging on the door. He tells me the fire alarms were going crazy in the office. I was not dressed so I uncovered it before opening the door. After this we decided we were not going to spend our wedding night at this place. So we packed up and drove home. When we got home (maybe 30 minutes later) we found that the outfit my wife was planning to wear that night for me was missing from the bag she put it in. So apparently someone went in the room and took it well we were not there. This is not the way anyone should be treated at all, and I will never go to this place and I will go out of my way to tell anyone else about the problems we had.

I came here, and the wife took my ID, I filled out the check in paper work , and she grilled my fiance about his age. We are 27 and 24, and look kind of young but we dont party and we intended to just watch TV and relax until work in the morning. We only had to stay ONE. NIGHT. About ten minutes after checking in I called the office for the wifi password and they were kind of weird about me asking but gave it to me, and then kept asking questions about where my car was. I was dropped off, and explained that to them . My ride came in to use the bathroom , and she got a phone call so she walked away for a bit outside to have a cig and then the woman who checked me in came knocking on our door asking about why I needed the wifi password, told me that this isn't a party motel like seaside and asking the age of my ride. I explained to her that she just needed the bathroom, took a call, and that she was just gonna come up and say bye and be on her way. The woman made it clear my ride couldn't stay the night, which we knew and understood, and had no intention of doing anyway! My ride was inside for all of ten minutes. We thought that was the end of it. Not even ten minutes later the husband who I assume is the owner came pounding on the door, as my ride was basically grabbing the door handle to leave. He barged into the room and yelled at us that we need to leave right now, he's giving us a refund, we can't stay. My ride told him she's leaving right now and was literally walking out and he said "you're not a customer here shut up". He actually told her to shut up I couldn' believe it. We grabbed our stuff (not enough items for a party that's for sure) and he basically kept telling us we need to leave. My fiance and I went into the office and he threw our cash at us and told us "if I was here and not my wife when you checked in I would have never even let you in the door. There's too many problems around brick and toms river you need to go" . Dude. What the heck. For real I'd love to know what he was insinuating with that one. I guess because I'm young my money doesnt count ? Or because I, as a paying guest had my ride use the bathroom for all of ten minutes ? I've never been treated so poorly, or spoken to with such disdain. We did absolutely nothing wrong to these people and were paying guests. That man was highly rude and discriminatory and I don't suggest spending your money there unless you want to be treated like the scum of the earth and get kicked out within 20 minutes of being there.
