The designer's first available appointment was three weeks out. Okay, that's fine, I can wait. The day of her appointment--she canceled on me saying she was sick. She never sent anyone to reschedule or even told her company. I checked in after a week to reschedule. She said she was still out. Nothing else. No backup person. After the third week I called the company. They didn't even know about me, my appointment etc. They also said there's no one else to help me. They can forward me to the manager but I basically just need to wait for Sena to come back. Terrible customer service. Unreliable. I chose to take my business elsewhere. If a company is 100% reliant on one designer --and doesn't have a backup to help customers -- I can't imagine if I did do business with them and something happened that needed mediation. Who do you go to? Who is the next person to step in? Basically you just wait...I support smaller businesses. If they called me to explain and kept in communication it would have been better. But when i called they didn't even know about my appointment.

He keeps you updated throughout the project with photos and regular progress reports, which gives you a lot of confidence that everything is being done right. We've had his team handle a variety of projects for us, including fixing a dragging gate, repairing a stiff door lock, addressing a collapsing ceiling, and building a large concrete pad for several condensers. Every project has been handled professionally and efficiently. It's hard to find a contractor who is this responsive, reliable, and genuinely committed to doing quality work. We've been extremely happy with M LLC and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark and his crew!

However today, a year later from starting, my deck remains unfinished and only passed inspection after we personally went through the process with the county. From the first "final delivery" of the deck to me is where I started seeing issues. Huge gaps in the Trex were made at each post that collect water, incorrect pieces of Trex were used on the railings, Trex were cut inappropriately in the middle of the flooring, and none of the footers of the original deck were removed. Cleanup was terrible, large cuts were made in railings that needed to be rectified, the edges of the deck were left unfinished, and the overall workmanship was very poor. Over time, HaiJoe "fixed" a few of the issues, while many of them remain "as is" as they would otherwise require a complete rebuild to be resolved. Many of the "fixes" actually caused additional sets of issues, and the owner still sent the same Foreman! Elder Ramos, the owner was hard to get a hold of, then hostile on the phone, and altogether unresponsive. Elder accused us of lying, raised his voice, and hung up on us over the phone. He lied that our deck passed its final inspection, which it did not until months later when we took care of it ourselves. I am so disappointed with the deck that I have been left with. Every day I use it; I see the poor workmanship that was put into it. Do not use this company unless you want a terrible product and bad customer service.

Granitech came to my home within a couple of days of my inquiry to assess and measure the shower. The Granitech team was very responsive to my questions and made recommendations to ensure the design of the new shower aligned with my wants and needs. They also recommended replacing the 19-year old vanities/cabinets with new 34" heigh cabinets and provided a separate price quote with two design options. The shower renovation and cabinet replacement was reasonably priced. The Granitech team showed up as scheduled and was meticulous in laying floor covers from the front door to the upstairs master bathroom to protect the areas. Granitech demolished the existing shower down to the studs, installed new insulation, relocated the drain, installed new plumbing, shower head, wet-rated shower light fixture, onyx shower wall panels, hardware (towel racks, grab bars, toilet paper holders), new luxury cabinets/vanities. Granitech also coordinated the design and installation of a customer pivot shower door with Dulles Glass. The Granitech team installed everything to perfection, patched drywall in garage ceiling once the WSSC and county inspector confirmed work was compliant with building code. Constant communication and stellar project management coupled with highly skilled home improvement staff resulted in an excellent quality bathroom renovation.
