He took over an hour to measure everything and sent me the lumber quote he received so that I was fully informed, then we talked labor. He would point out problematic areas (like rotting framing) and would ask me if I wanted to have it replaced rather than just covering it up with the new surface. He did an amazing job that had my mom's tenants and the neighbors complementing the work and I felt the price was very reasonable. Based on that job, I brought him out to take a look at my townhouse to possibly replace the siding and he suggested sanding, priming and painting instead due to the price of replacement. They sanded almost every square inch of it, primed it (in some areas twice) with a peeling paint primer that is like glue to fill in gaps and keep the rest of the old paint from peeling, and then put a double coat over everything. When they finished, I was surprised to find that they had power washed our patio, porch, and front half-height fence and even painted the fence though we never talked about doing any of that work. I felt compelled to pay him extra. Deck Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wELQYf0YGKY

I would say the person paying for the job should be present I went through numerous calls and texts with an estimate I never received because the guy wanted to come by again, which would have been the fourth time. This was basically a tub replacement ,mbing pluand new floor, (End cost $16k) First their salesman was smooth but not technically knowlegable, the quote was very vague," its implied in the contract" was his response to when we would ask specifics..... What was supposed to be a 3 day job ended up being 3 weeks. There were too many call backs to count. The communication (or lack thereof) with their Project Manager was terrible. The worker who did the work had an attitude from the start. The sub contractors they sent did not do what Fletcher had proposed and then wanted more money. They made us sign a Change Order to cover work that was already supposed to be covered (Replacing Subfloor) Then charged us $160 each for four sheets of floor underlayment. (Less than $50 sheet at Lowes) Water overflowed and damaged kitchen ceiling (another sub to fix) Installed Medicine cabinet that would not open due to hitting sink faucet. Construction debris sat in driveway for 3 weeks. Dismal Project Management, awful communication, HIGH Price. Dont use Fletcher !

The deck has failed miserably! After 11years, the pressure treated wood has rotted, it is not safe. We are just waiting for our building permit and the stairs and deck will be replaced, but not Prestige! The actually offered nothing as far as a warranty or even a break on a rebuild! I was told by Alex, if they replaced the failure of the installations they have done, the company would go bankrupt! Now, not all the decks and other structures they have done have failed as horribly as ours. They did offer me an estimate to do a new deck, my answer was no even though they cheaper than the company we are using! Alex also told me it was not his companies fault but the government because the arsenic was removed from pressure treated wood. H e did fail mention that the grade of wood that was used was not not premium wood. They used cheaper wood but still charge for a superior product, that is the only explanation for such a horrible failure. They should have offered to replace the structure at their cost if they cared at all about customer service. And no, we didn't count on it the replacement being paid for, we are completely prepared to cover the cost!

The guys showed up every morning and worked steadily throughout the day and completed our project in the timeframe given. We now have a beautiful new deck with TimberTech decking which we are thrilled with. I highly recommend this company as they did exactly what they promised and in the timeframe they promised it. Luckily our neighbor recommended ecodecks for our deck staining project and we are glad they did. Petru and his crew showed up first thing in the morning on the day scheduled. They carefully covered our neighbors fences and our property before staining. Communication was good and the final result was great! They came back the next day for touch ups and to make sure everything was meeting our expectations. Very pleased to have worked with them and will recommend to anyone needing this type of work done.
