Miller Paint Bellevue is a phenomenal resource for wood stain matching…read more Our house has dark red cedar siding with a half-dozen coats of translucent stain collected over 20 years. Tree damage required us to match a stain for application to the current lighter-colored cedar siding. Knowing nothing, I started calling paint stores. Some refused to even try. Some tried and failed to match the color. One came near the color but couldn't match our siding's eggshell finish. A couple stores referred me to Miller Paint Bellevue. Miller Paint absolutely NAILED the color (and my wife and I both have perfect color vision) and reproduced our eggshell finish with the application of two different products. We're stunned by the value they contributed to our project. They did what everyone else thought was impossible.

Using paint and stain to match wood transition strips to laminate flooring requires expertise and…read moretechnical knowledge. This is especially the case if your laminate is an non-wood, gray/taupe color. Ryan is an color matching guru and experimented on a piece of extra wood transition strip (red oak) to come up with a solution that I could replicate at home. When I returned to the store a day or two later, Ryan taught me how to achieve a good color match using a relatively straight forward 5-step process. In addition, he was conscientious about keeping the cost of materials reasonable and making sure I had what I needed to complete the project with success.

Price was excellent and although this store did not have sufficient stock, they brought in the balance the next day and we had on-time delivery to our home. This time I visited with my contractor to select new large format polished tile for our new shower remodel. Finding the tile was difficult only because of the large variety of choices! I had some issues with finding the flooring tile for the shower; however, Jaimee walked the two of us through the options and showed us the massive wall of selections that would provide us with the match or contrast options and the many shape options, too. It was as if she not only knew everything about my concerns (which she did), but she provided suggestions and answered all my questions showing her knowledge and experience and did it all with professionalism and courtesy - attributes not always found in retail establishments these days. Jaimee - thank you. And Floor & Decor - great facility and great people.

Lol Larry was our point man and he got our project cart started for us and answered any questions we had and made great recommendations too. German was there anytime we asked for something. And the Pro Desk is top notch! David was friendly and well organized going above and beyond for us. Ivan (pro desk manager) was incredible too! After standing in a long line to check out, my cashier changed from one woman to another mid ring. Weird but it happens. I noticed my two pickups rang at $2.99 each and asked her about it. She said "oh. Blue tags are for members only." I suppose errantly assuming because I wear a bra I'm not a member? (I am one.) Then she checked and said the pickups were on blue tag last month and pointed to a display near check stand. I said "Thats funny because I picked up two of these back on aisle 6 end-cap BECAUSE they were on blue tag." I told her I'd go take a photo and did and came back and showed her my phone screen. She reiterated the sale was last month. I reiterated that the price was on display in their store in washington state. She finally called the manager and price was adjusted but this left a bad impression on me. She never said "sorry for the confusion" or even "you were right." I hate retailers (and restaurants ) who display one price then charge a higher one. I'm also not keen on assumptions made about me because of my sex.
