I cannot explain the CALM that comes over me the moment I walk into Malisse Skin Bar*! My heart rate slows and I am instantly in my happy place. (*They moved into a brand-new space recently, having come from Skintelligence.) I have been a skincare enthusiast since my teen years when I battled terrible acne and oily skin one day, dry the next. I have become pretty knowledgeable about skincare in the last 20 years, and I can say without a doubt Malisse Skin Bar is not only THE BEST place around for skin care, it fosters such an environment of peace and quiet: an escape from the daily grind and a welcome respite from our busy lives! The space is gorgeous and immaculate (I'm very picky about cleanliness) with sinks in every room for the estheticians - this is so so important! They offer the most cutting-edge skincare techniques, like the HydraFacial (I get it once a month), LED light therapy, oxygen facial, and micro-needling...but they customize the appointment for YOUR skin and what it needs that day, and they recommend the products that will work the most efficiently with your skin type. I have never felt pressure to buy anything, but I have never regretted a purchase either because it always addressed my specific skin issue. This kind of honesty and transparency from estheticians really impresses me. I have become so much more educated about my own skin because of Malisse that I feel empowered to take better care of it at home as well, using the right products suggested by the professionals at Malisse. Every person who works at Malisse Skin Bar is an expert in their field, are extremely well trained, and provide superb service. As a bonus, they are lovely people with warm personalities! Don't hesitate to make your appointment today...your skin, mind, body, and soul will all benefit! read more

This is my favorite go to place for all services. I have now had a number of facials done by Mali. They are the best facials I have ever had. Mali determines what my face needs and gives it deluxe treatment including a fabulous facial massage. I had my first manicure and pedicure from Sylvia and she did a fantastic job. I am ready to go back for my second! I am especially excited about my first 'journey' into fillers and Botox. I can not say enough positives about my experience with Megan (Nurse). I was really nervous about the experience. Megan spent time in an initial consultation to explain the process, products and desired results. I had concerns about looking 'over the top' with too much product. She detailed exactly what she was going to do and reassured me that I would be very happy with the outcome. That was an understatement- I was estactic about the results! Megan followed up with a call the day after my appointment and then I had a follo-up appointment 2 weeks later. I highly recommend Megan! For me this was life changing...especially after an awful Covid year. I am so happy with the results and so happy that I found Megan. read more

I have been going to Mali for a number of years at her previous location Skintelligence (she recently opened her own salon Malisse Skin Bar). I was originally sent to her by my dermatologist who actually stated that Mali was the only person she would trust with my sensitive skin reactions. One visit and I was sold- as was my husband! My skin is incredible thanks to Mali. My friends, and even people I don't know compliment me on my complexion, but the best was when my father who never notices anything, made a comment about my "glowing complexion". I am a true believer in using facial products and when you pair your daily routine of those with a treatment with Mali or any member of her team you can't go wrong! read more

Consistently excellent, clean, professional and warm. Just did microneedling, and it was a great experience. They'll tell you about the products but I've never been upsold and never felt like I was being used as a tool to extract money. They just really want you to feel and look great. Such a refreshing experience. The few products I have bought have been 10000% worth it, and I'm not a big products gal.

I had the pleasure of receiving an IET Energy Healing session with Shirin at Ladan Holistic Spa --…read morea thoughtful gift from a dear friend -- and it was such a beautiful experience from beginning to end. From the moment you walk in, the space is incredibly peaceful and inviting. You can feel the intention and care in every corner. I had the chance to meet both Shirin and Noushin, the founders of Ladan Spa -- two magical, warm, and grounded women who have come together to offer a space for those on a soul healing journey and seeking holistic ways to heal. Shirin's energy is nurturing and intuitive. The session itself was deeply relaxing and insightful -- I left feeling lighter, more balanced, and connected to myself in a new way. For those unfamiliar, IET (Integrated Energy Therapy) is a gentle hands-on healing method that helps release energetic blocks stored in the body -- often from emotional trauma or stress -- and supports healing on an emotional, physical, and spiritual level. It's amazing for anyone looking to clear stagnant energy and open up to deeper healing. They also offer workshops and other fun holistic events if you're interested in learning more about energy work and exploring your own healing path in community. Ladan Holistic Spa is truly a gem -- a safe, loving space to reset, recharge, and reconnect. I'm so grateful for the experience and will definitely be back.
