I will be honest with you, the facility isn't the most fancy schmancy, it's not a day spa, but don't be fooled by those places, cause they don't always work. That was what was told to me by a friend who tried somewhere else first, it didn't work, then came here. I have brown hair and fair skin. My understanding of laser hair removal is you need a tech who is experienced working with your skin color and hair type, it matters in hair removal. Mclean Laser Center was recommended to me by a friend with blond hair and fair skin, and a friend with dark skin and dark hair and it worked for both of them. Tips: Park in the lot across the street that doesn't appear to be connected to anything. Don't park by the building, there are so many restrictions, and don't park in a lot for another business on the same side of the road, you aren't allowed and i have had a note left on my car that the next time it will be a ticket. If you don't already have a package, you will be required to pay a deposit. They do match groupon prices. Make sure you aren't taking any antibiotics when you come, and certain medicines that affect the skin (like accutane or retinol (i think?) anything that makes you more sensitive to the sun) cause you can't get laser while on those medicines. Once you make the appointment you will need to confirm it a few days before. Be sure to tip! PS - YES IT DOES HURT!

**Review for Le Nouveau Belle**…read more This review is long overdue because I've been meaning to share my experience ever since I first found Shohreh based on her amazing Yelp reviews. Let me tell you, she definitely lives up to the hype! My results with temporary fillers have been absolutely phenomenal. Shohreh has an impressive background, having honed her expertise while working with some of the best cosmetic surgeons in the area early in her career. Her knowledge and experience give me complete confidence in her recommendations, which are always top-notch and non-surgical. At 58, I never imagined I could feel this youthful again--I truly wish I had started this journey sooner! When it comes to prices, I did my homework and found her rates to be competitive; I typically spend between $900 to $2,500 a year, and the results I'm getting last me around 8 months-16 months. My cheek lift is still looking fabulous, and I trust her to choose the best products for me. For years, I struggled with thin lips and tired eyes, i was visit Shohreh regularly for touch-ups, but the last time just did as much as needed while still looking natural. I absolutely love the eye lift! She strategically injects around my eyes above the brow and on the sides to improve my hooded eyelids--something no amount of makeup could fix. The difference is incredible; my eyes look so much more open now, making makeup application a joy rather than a chore. I also had concerns about my sagging jawline and a bit of fat under my chin. Shohreh knows exactly where to fill in those areas to restore the natural contour of my face. I couldn't be happier with the results and the personal attention she provides. And those laugh lines and forhead lines, gone. If you're considering any non-surgical cosmetic treatments, I highly recommend Le Nouveau Belle and Shohreh. You won't be disappointed!

There was a bit of a hiccup with their former office manager who had a very offputting and unprofessional nature, but the owner was quick to reach out, rectify the issue and credit my account for the sessions I purchased. I ended up moving down to Richmond but thoroughly enjoyed my 4 treatments with Gru and she made the laser experience much more comfortable through the pain. Upon entering the space, the staff members are all so pleasant, friendly, and informative. I appreciate that they really make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. My facial was done by Monica Jorge, and she really took the time to understand my skin so that she could customize her approach to treating it. I had been using retinoids, so Monica was super gentle when performing the diamond glow facial. She took the time to explain every step of the process as she was treating my skin, and ensured that I was relaxed the entire time. My skin is normally very reactive and I was a little worried that I would experience some redness/dryness or irritation after the facial; however, that was not the case at all! Monica prioritized hydration in my treatment, and my skin looks great now (a few days after my facial). I had no irritation at all and my skin is definitely smoother to the touch and less congested. Monica even recommended a lightweight moisturizer to add to my usual routine and so far, it's been great! I will definitely be back to Skin Spirit in the future!

Renee is truly a master of her craft, she pairs that knowledge with the most incredible massage technique. It was so intentional and soothing that I left feeling more relaxed than I have in months. My skin was glowing immediately, but honestly, it was the mental reset that stayed with me, I've been dreaming about this facial ever since! The owner Venera is always patient to answer all my questions and concerns I have. Their extractions are top notch and I always leave the clinic with clean pores and glowy skin. I religiously take care of my skin at home so this is a monthly treat. I normally ask for microdermabrasion along with hydrafacial. Price is reasonable if you buy package deal. The only thing I wish they do differently is to cleanse the face with makeup remover gel/lotion of some sort before going straight for hydrafacial device.
