Malibu spa of Lake Worth, worst service and repair individuals ever. Run from this service. Here's my story of a total disaster:
1) called Malibu for hot tub repair and they come out and replace a pool motor along with noticing another motor needs service. I approve and they take away for repair.
2) they come back with serviced motor and replace but state I need another part replaced and they will order and be back.
3) I called a couple a couple of times asking why they have not been back? Will be out this week is the response.
4) Skip and his buddy come out and ask what do I need. I reminded them that they were to order a part and replace the damaged part. They stated they would order and be out in about a week.
5) Skip and buddy come out with a part look over the original part and new ordered part and Skips buddy tells me its not the same but it will work if they rework the part. I state no I would like the same part and not a reworked Part. Ok, they will reorder.
6)replace the part and start the hot tub out and its leaking. They go ahead and fix and tell me its good to go.
7) Hot tub after a couple of days starts leaking again and the controls are not working (I think they mis-wired the controls.
8) I have called 3 times in the last 3 weeks and no response. I will try again tomorrow but I'm guessing after paying Malibu spa over $400.00 dollars I have to eat it and get someone reputable.
I don't mean to be lengthy but its been a heck of 3 months of nothing and my spa is worst off. read more
