DO NOT use this company. the first two pictures that came…read moreup on this website are pictures that the contractor posted (WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION) of our pool. Interesting that they did not post pictures of the damage they caused and the shoddy travertine installation. My husband posted on this site and she responded that we were in breach of contract by not paying. We fully paid the entire contract. She told us it would all be covered under warranty - but she has essentially ghosted us. So the warranty is USELESS. she says "well it passed inspection". the inspectors check electrical, plumbing, and safety (eg: is there a fence). They DO NOT check the quality and completeness of the contractual work. The timeline took twice as long as she told us (note weather was NOT a factor). they went MIA for weeks at. at time. They left garbage all over our yard - some of which was food garbage - for long periods of time. They did NOT remove the construction debris. After two months, we had to hire someone to come and remove it. There were many issues with the travertine installation including MISSING tiles, BROKEN tiles, loose stairs, etc. In addition, they damaged the skimmer wall during the tile installation causing water from the skimmer to seep into the surrounding tiles causing more damage to the tiles. there were stains on the pool that have REMAINED despite her telling us they would come off with normal maintenance and they did NOT install the handrails correctly. She acknowledged via text to us they would come to remedy all of this. Essentially she took our money and ran. After months of trying to followup with her, we filed with the Florida Best Business Bureau and she refused to respond to them. So in the end, we paid someone else to come and fix everything and are now considering if a lawsuit is worth it. She relies on customers backing off at that point as an attorney would cost thousands of dollars. DO NOT USE MY SOL Pools. they are NOT reputable.

Again any rating is too high. The builder never compacted the ground prior to travertine…read moreinstallation. As such the ground sunk and the tiles needed to be reinstalled. We used over 3 bags of sand to fill the settling hole. Stay clean of this contractor.

This review if just for the weekly chemical-only pool service only…read more On the one hand, I really, really appreciate that this pool company will come at the drop of a hat, that my location is on their route, and most of all - that they offer chemical-only pool service. Cutting down to just the chemical service is a huge monthly savings! Thank you for offering this! Also, I am so grateful that they came to my home to care for my pool in the beginning of the pandemic when my previous pool service quit unexpectedly (my location being too far from their regular route). However, that being said, the person who came to take care of my pool did not appear to test my water before pouring chlorine into it. This happened repeatedly- not every time, but enough times to wonder what was going on. My pool seemed consistently on the point of turning; it seems I often had to call for extra service or to get the pool shocked, despite this not being a problem with any previous service. Also, my pool fence was left wide open on more than one occasion. This was pretty scary as I have young children- the pool fence is up for a reason! Trying to communicate with the pool service was also pretty frustrating. The customer service person has their hands full with responding to emails and texts. My day of service changed at whim without notice. I know that can be difficult to coordinate and is really not a big deal to me, but the idea of 'catching the service person' during the visit to ask a question was nearly impossible. Last but not least, the billing they used was not so user-friendly; it did not send me an auto-receipt; thus, it was difficult to know if my bill was paid, as there was also no account history associated with it. All that being said, thank you Dana for your patience and always kind communication, and thank you to the different service people who came by to take care of my pool.
