My salt cell had been shut off and when I turned it on it had a leak. No wonder my vacuum wasn't working. Yes I was a little behind on payments because this virus has screwed up everything but I tried to pay at least something on a fairly regular basis. He would test the water, brush the algae off the sides of the pool, and shock it. A few days later the algae was back. His scheduled day was Wednesday but never made it to my house until Saturday after 4 or 5. If it rained or he got behind I was put on the back burner and he wouldn't show up until the following week on Monday or Tuesday, and I would have to call or text to find out where and if he was going to show up at all in the current week. His communication was very poor. My wife was getting upset and so was I about the algae and late cleaning. One Saturday, he did not show up. I texted, the next day he answered, said he had an emergency. He came Monday late to clean and when he left the hot tub still had worms in it along with algae. I have pictures, I called I was upset he said my brush didn't fit in there and some other stupid excuse I had had enough! I told him I was done. After hiring a new company the next day after he supposedly cleaned the pool and added chemicals, they tested the water, It was a mess with phosphates, metals, low acid and a bunch of other things. I saw it with my own eyes. They checked the new filter he just put in and I found out it was cheapest one money could buy. Tossed money away there! His filter always read 30 on the meter the new one they replaced it with reads 18 has bands to hold it together and picks up the dirt which they clean. I used to clean my own. Now one month later, The pool has never been cleaner, NO algae, water crystal clear, no hard water spots (calcium) and with the rain, they showed up and at least added the chemicals and the pool still looks cleaner and better then Demers Pool service ever did. I am sorry I was sucker, I tried to be friendly with the guy figured he was working hard. All I did was waste money. Please don't be a fool or sucker like me. When you have customers putting down large sums of deposits communication is key. Cutting down to just the chemical service is a huge monthly savings! Thank you for offering this! Also, I am so grateful that they came to my home to care for my pool in the beginning of the pandemic when my previous pool service quit unexpectedly (my location being too far from their regular route). However, that being said, the person who came to take care of my pool did not appear to test my water before pouring chlorine into it. This happened repeatedly- not every time, but enough times to wonder what was going on. My pool seemed consistently on the point of turning; it seems I often had to call for extra service or to get the pool shocked, despite this not being a problem with any previous service. Also, my pool fence was left wide open on more than one occasion. This was pretty scary as I have young children- the pool fence is up for a reason! Trying to communicate with the pool service was also pretty frustrating. The customer service person has their hands full with responding to emails and texts. My day of service changed at whim without notice. I know that can be difficult to coordinate and is really not a big deal to me, but the idea of 'catching the service person' during the visit to ask a question was nearly impossible. Last but not least, the billing they used was not so user-friendly; it did not send me an auto-receipt; thus, it was difficult to know if my bill was paid, as there was also no account history associated with it. All that being said, thank you Dana for your patience and always kind communication, and thank you to the different service people who came by to take care of my pool.

We had a significant leak in our pool requiring additional water every day. They correctly…read moreidentified multiple leaks in the skimmer basket and return line in the side of the pool. They also put in a fix at no extra charge (part of their leak detection service) and while they warned us this was a temporary fix they did not pressure us to spend 5x more on the permanent fix they provided as an estimate. Now we are coming up on a year and their "temporary" fix is starting to wane and we will be requesting a second opinion on the replacement cost for the skimmer basket. My wife and I were very happy with their service and will likely give them a chance to beat any 2nd opinion.
