We called and were quoted approximately $1,600 for the replacement. We then visited the store in person to confirm the price and schedule the installation. A few days later, we received a call offering an upgraded model for an additional $400. We clearly declined and stated that we wanted to stay within the price range we had originally been quoted. We communicated this multiple times throughout the process. After the installation was completed, we were surprised to receive a bill for $2,000 before tax. When we questioned the charge, we were told that a better model had been installed. However, we never agreed to upgrading the system. After expressing our concerns, they reduced the price by $100, but we still ended up paying over $2,000 with tax--significantly more than the original quote. Our main issue is the lack of transparency. We were not informed that a more expensive unit was being installed until after the work was completed. Had we known beforehand, we could have made an informed decision.. We had been considering using Chappy's for a future Diamond Brite resurfacing project, but after this experience, we will be looking elsewhere.

He came out that very afternoon and performed leak tests on both the main drain & skimmer lines. Found a leak in the main drain and used forced air and a listening device to pinpoint the location of the leak. They dug down and found the pvp pipe/joint that was leaking water. It was repaired and haven't had to add water in the pool since the repairs. All was done in 1 day! Excellent service and would recommend to anyone looking for pool repairs.

We moved into a new home that had a saltwater pool and wanted some work done, as well as find a company for regular cleanings. We wanted to have the pool light replaced, as well as have the tiles acid washed and the surrounding brick pavers cleaned. I was given a quote on Tuesday, and told that if I could approve and pay deposit by Wednesday, the work could be completed that week. We went ahead and approved the quote, as well as paid the 50% deposit. Thursday morning the work began on schedule and things appeared to be going well. We were told the pool needed to be drained below the light, but they drained the entire pool instead. It was initially not a big deal, but when they called and asked us to approve additional work since the pool was already drained, I should have realized then how this company does business. Thursday evening I received a text saying the pool was being filled overnight, and to give them an update in the morning so they could come back and finish up. I sent a text with a picture around 9:00 am. By about 1:00 pm when I had not received any response, I called and texted again. No response again. Finally someone responded and said they would be there by 3:00 pm. I received a call at 3:00 pm stating they were picking up the sealant and on their way. Someone arrived around 3:45 pm and put several bags of salt and chemicals into our pool. I could immediately tell that it was WAY too much salt, as it created a rim around the entire pool. The individual left about 10 minutes later with our pool looking absolutely terrible... lots of dirt and debris, a salty rim formed all around the pool, and the machine beeping saying there was way too much salt. I assumed they were coming back and would not leave their customers' pool like this over the weekend. Especially when they said the work would be done this week! After about an hour, I reached out with pictures and videos asking when this was going to be corrected. I sent numerous texts, phone calls, and emails over a two hour period. Finally someone responded and told me that this was completely normal and that the salty rim would be filtered out, and that the rest of the work would be done the following week! Keep in mind the machine was telling me our pool had twice the safe limit. I'm not sure whether they just do not know how to service a saltwater pool, or if they are just that negligent, but this company should not be trusted in your home. They also had the audacity to send me a bill for work that I had to hire another company to come out and fix/ complete. Our new company was APPALLED at the condition our pool was left in and has encouraged us to report them to the State. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs.

We have taken legal action against this company for our experience…read more Absolutely terrible company run by scam artists that do not know the first thing about servicing pools! They damaged our salt chlorine generator, drained our pool without permission, put 3x the maximum amount of salt allowed by the generator, and blatantly lied about the service they performed. My pool and pavers was left dirtier than it was before they started the job, and we have had to hire another company and spend money to fix their negligence and mistakes. Instead of acknowledging they did anything wrong, they would rather go to war with their customers. We filed a credit card dispute with American Express, and they are attempting to illegally workaround the dispute by hiring a third party collections/ lien to threaten us. We have hired a lawyer and gotten law enforcement involved for this matter, as this is highly fraudulent. Considering they continue to stand on their job well done, please review the photos and videos of our "acid washed" pool and pavers and judge for yourself. We are looking forward to exposing all this company's games.

In recent months my pool doesn't look clean and my filter hasn't been cleaned in months. When I called the owner I got a text back saying text me. I'm not your friend I am a customer and deserve a call back. I texted him telling him my issue and he said it would be fixed. The pool guy came last Wednesday and the same day my filter was disgusting in my skimmer was never cleaned. My pool was green after being serviced. I texted the owner again asking for him to call me as soon as possible. He texted me back he was in a pool he would call me as soon as possible. That was almost a week ago. I will be looking for another pool service.

New Image built my pool about 5 years ago and its still running great. I had an issue with the pool…read morepump after a year and they swapped it out under the warranty with no issues. Mike Bonneville was my Sales Rep and he did a great job of telling me what to look for in a pool installer so I don't end up getting scammed or fooled in to something I didn't know I didn't want. An example is brick pavers. He warned me most S FL pools have the same brick pavers as the driveway because the original housing developer saved money and used extra bricks from the driveways or just ordered an extra pallet to save costs. Those bricks get HOT under the Sun and your kids will have to run across it to jump in the pool. An easy test is to try to walk barefoot across your driveway on a hot sunny day at 2pm to get your mail. New Image uses travertine tile at no additional cost. Kids can walk all over them all day long and it never burns. Other extras these guys added in a whole piece of stone for my jacuzzi overflow. I included a picture and it looks great. They also cut the bricks instead of using whole pieces and oversized mortar joints. I also included a picture. The entire pool coping edge is perfectly level. When it pours rain or if I purpose flood my pool, the water doesn't pour out in one spot, it evenly crests all around. This is NOT an easy task to do. The other cool feature I have that my friends pools does not is a drain hole just under the coping in the deep end. I'm not sure if this is a new code, but it saves me the time to have to drain the pool when it over fills from storms. Other people have to drag out a drain hose and hopefully don't forget and lower it too much. I don't have to do anything. About a day after the heavy rain stops, the water level returns to just below where the drain hole is. I would have have recommended New Image to friends and one other person did use them and she was also very happy with her new pool.
