As soon as we realized it, we immediately paid the balance in full. they simply stopped servicing the pool, and we did not realize until the pool had already started turning green. When we called to resolve the issue and restart service, the representative demanded immediate payment over the phone by credit card for FUTURE services which was no big deal for us, but we simply requested a secure online payment link instead as they had just done for us, as I was not comfortable verbally giving my card information over the phone, but she refused. There was very little professionalism or customer care shown during the conversation. In addition, we repeatedly asked them to inspect and address equipment issues multiple times throughout service, and nothing was ever followed up on or repaired. Most disappointing was the complete lack of urgency after explaining that we had Mother's Day plans with multiple mothers and children coming over in just a few days. At that point, we were simply looking for help getting the pool back in shape quickly, but it was clear they did not care about retaining us as customers. Poor communication, lack of follow-through, and poor customer service overall. Please consider another company. Regardless, we asked them to upgrade our aqualink system to a newer one, never got a quote. Fix or replace heater, never got a quote. Price replacing our pool deck and waterline tile, never received a quote. In this economy, we are paying alot for all kinds of services, with your pool you have options. Choose wisely.

New Image built my pool about 5 years ago and its still running great. I had an issue with the pool…read morepump after a year and they swapped it out under the warranty with no issues. Mike Bonneville was my Sales Rep and he did a great job of telling me what to look for in a pool installer so I don't end up getting scammed or fooled in to something I didn't know I didn't want. An example is brick pavers. He warned me most S FL pools have the same brick pavers as the driveway because the original housing developer saved money and used extra bricks from the driveways or just ordered an extra pallet to save costs. Those bricks get HOT under the Sun and your kids will have to run across it to jump in the pool. An easy test is to try to walk barefoot across your driveway on a hot sunny day at 2pm to get your mail. New Image uses travertine tile at no additional cost. Kids can walk all over them all day long and it never burns. Other extras these guys added in a whole piece of stone for my jacuzzi overflow. I included a picture and it looks great. They also cut the bricks instead of using whole pieces and oversized mortar joints. I also included a picture. The entire pool coping edge is perfectly level. When it pours rain or if I purpose flood my pool, the water doesn't pour out in one spot, it evenly crests all around. This is NOT an easy task to do. The other cool feature I have that my friends pools does not is a drain hole just under the coping in the deep end. I'm not sure if this is a new code, but it saves me the time to have to drain the pool when it over fills from storms. Other people have to drag out a drain hose and hopefully don't forget and lower it too much. I don't have to do anything. About a day after the heavy rain stops, the water level returns to just below where the drain hole is. I would have have recommended New Image to friends and one other person did use them and she was also very happy with her new pool.

I checked around with a few companies to get prices and see portfolios, but since I used Blue Water previously with great success, I decided to go with them again. On the first day the team showed up as expected and got right to work. The guys worked very hard throughout the entire time they were on site and progress was quick. They kept us informed about what was going on and were excellent with communication overall, which I appreciated. Most importantly, the pool looks fantastic. We went with Diamond Brite Super Blue and it looks absolutely amazing in contrast with our new gray pavers that South Florida Paver Pros did. I have to say I'm very impressed with everything. Definitely check out Blue Water if you are in need of pool finishing or any kind of serious pool work. They have consistently delivered for us over a number of years and because of that I give them my highest recommendation.

I would give Bluewater Pools zero stars if I could…read more I hired Bluewater Pools to redo my pool Diamond Brite in November 2024. Less than two years later, the blue accent tile on my pool steps is already failing and coming off. In my opinion, that is not normal wear and tear for pool work that is this recent. I contacted Bluewater Pools about the issue and received a call back from Kevin. Without ever coming to my property to inspect the damage, he immediately blamed my pool service company and stated that my pool guy must have caused it. I asked what it would cost to repair, and I was told $200. I then escalated the matter to the owner. The owner did send someone to look at the damage, but the response was essentially the same: "This looks like the pool guy." After speaking with the owner again a few days later, I was told the same thing -- that my pool guy caused the damage. At no point did I receive a meaningful written explanation, inspection report, or proof that the failure was caused by my pool service company rather than by an installation, bonding, material, grout, or workmanship issue. The owner then offered to repair the tiles for $875, making it clear that he would not fix the issue at no cost, even though the work was less than two years old and even though Bluewater Pools could not provide proof that their work was not part of the problem. Because I was not satisfied with that response, I contacted two other pool companies for independent opinions and repair estimates. Both companies indicated that the workmanship appeared flawed, especially considering how recently the work had been done. One company even tried to demonstrate how difficult it would be to chip that tile through the water with a pool brush because of the drag once the brush enters the water. I also tested this myself, and it was extremely difficult to recreate the kind of damage Bluewater claimed my pool service company caused. After this happened, I looked more closely at Bluewater Pools' Yelp and Google reviews and found other customers describing similar issues. One Yelp review from another customer specifically mentions tile falling off, grout coming out, and a poor Marcite job after Bluewater Pools performed work. That sounded very similar to the type of failure I am now dealing with on my own pool. I wish I had taken those complaints more seriously before hiring this company. My issue is not only that the tile failed. My issue is that Bluewater Pools immediately blamed someone else, refused to accept any possibility that their workmanship or materials may have contributed to the problem, and then attempted to charge me significantly more to repair work that I believe should not have failed this quickly. I have photos, communications, and independent opinions regarding this issue. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering Bluewater Pools to think carefully, get everything in writing, understand the warranty, review their Yelp and Google reviews carefully, and document the condition of the work immediately after completion. Pools are expensive, and consumers should be able to expect that a company will stand behind its work when problems appear in such a short period of time. In my opinion, Bluewater Pools did not do that here.
