Ecstatic to see a Taiwanese Restaurant in this part of town opened it's doors on February 18th,…read more2025! Came with a +1 and ordered a couple of authentic Taiwanese appetizers (Marinated Beef Shank) and (Deep Fried Fish Cakes). You can't go wrong with staple Taiwanese entrees of Beef Noodle Soup and Egg Fried Rice with Deep Fried Chicken Nuggets. All dish's portions were huge that we had to take some home and the taste truly brings me back to the island of Formosa (Taiwan). Staff were friendly and the food came out quick. Free parking is available throughout the strip mall.

We walked into Utopia Noodles for a late lunch on the way up from Seattle on a Saturday afternoon…read more It's a relatively small restaurant with seating for 26 and seems to be a pretty popular destination for the locals, given that most of the tables were occupied inside. N01 Soy sauce-braised beef broth with noodles and beef brisket, spicy ($18) - Starting with the noodles - these are medium size wheat flour based noodles, cooked a little too far past perfection, so while still a bit bouncy, they are soft and get even softer while sitting in the soup. The broth has a good concentrated herbal flavor, definitely good as a beef braise, with some tomato umami essence mixed in that makes it almost nutty in flavor. The beef is nicely tender and fall apart, interspersed with a bit of fat and braised stringiness. Everything is just the right amount of spicy. A couple of sprigs of yuchoy jr are included, blanched well, not overcooked. The broth is flavorful but there's nothing special separating it from the pack. (4/5) N14 Marinated ground pork sauce ($17) - This dish includes the same noodle as above cooked to the same level. It's then tossed in a silky sauce that manages to coat the entire surface of the starch. The sauce is more saucy than thick and fatty, and while it has plenty of soy and umami, it's a little heavier on the vinegar than I prefer in this dish. There's plenty of ground pork and lardon pork belly, cooked until really tender and nice. (4/5) F01 Salt & pepper deep fried chicken ($13) - This dish came last. It's a pretty large portion of piping hot, burning chicken. It's dark meat, served skin on, surprisingly light in crisp (but not soggy) with light white pepper and salt seasoning. It's far less salty than most other places. The interior is remarkably fragrant with plenty of ginger and garlic essence accentuating the chicken. Some pieces are literally just fried chicken skin - think chicharrones, which I really enjoyed. (4/5) Utopia Noodles serves some pretty solid Taiwanese food. It's probably the best Taiwanese restaurant in the area under the south fork of the Fraser River. Washrooms - Single unisex room Food: [4/5] Service: [] Other: [ ] Final Rating: 4/5

Wow! My fiancé and I have been meaning to come here for a while. Today we came in for his birthday!…read more We got the lemongrass chicken on rice, beef bone Pho, 2 Vietnamese coffees including one that's decaf (which amazed me since I cannot have caffeine and no where carries decaf I felt I could finally enjoy Vietnamese coffee too!) and 2 taro bubble teas to go. It was all amazing, satisfying and delicious. The service was some the greatest we have ever received. I am the GM of a restaurant and I was floored. Thank you Natasha. The ambience is beautiful and you can tell they take pride in that. Thank you for the lovely visit. I hope to see this place filled soon. And to those who complain about the prices clearly have not seen the portion sizes or have ever lived downtown Vancouver haha. Give it a shot!

The broth wasn't as clear as what I'm used to but it wasn't bad. I'd like to try it in the restaurant next time to see if it tastes different when it's fresh from the kitchen. I liked how they packed up the pho for to go. The broth and meat were in a bowl with the noodles and garnishes separate which made eating it so easy and convenient. I'm curious to come back to try their bang mi.

Our party of six waited over an hour to be seated. If my mother hadn't spoken up, we likely would have waited even longer. Although reservations are not accepted, guests are placed on a waitlist upon arrival. Our name was clearly on the queue, but not in Korean and while I initially understood smaller parties of two or four being seated ahead of us based on table availability, concerns arose when another party of six--who was behind us in line (name was written in Korean--was seated before us. This was deeply frustrating, as we were next in line for a table that could accommodate six people. When we raised the issue, the hostess admitted it was a mistake, yet still chose to seat the other group first. They were 5th in the queue. Despite our complaint, there was no sincere apology, and we were forced to wait an additional 10 minutes while they set up another table. The entire situation left us feeling unfairly treated and discriminated against. As loyal customers who regularly spend over $300 per visit ordering family combos, extra dishes, drinks, and more, this was incredibly disappointing. Sadly, we will not be returning. There are many other restaurants that treat their customers with fairness, respect, and appreciation.

The chicken momo is delicious and filled with chicken unlike some places that reduce the filling. The pani puri puris weren't that crispy but I think that was because I ordered for delivery and it got a bit cold. The potato filling it comes with was ok. Chicken biryani was a huge portion, enough for 3-4 meals. A little too spicy for me (got mild-medium). The chowmein I got was vegetarian and I wished it had a bit more vegetables. Again, large portion; enough for 2-3 meals. Definitely will go back for momos.

READ ITS INTERESTING REVIEW-:…read more I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 4 years, and what happened today was completely unacceptable and extremely disappointing. One of the owners, Mr. Bishnu, knows me very well since I've been coming here regularly for years. A few months ago, when I tried to order a plate of noodles, I was told the wait time would be 40 minutes, so I cancelled the order. After about an hour, I called back thinking the wait might be shorter, but I was told it would now take 50 minutes. I still agreed to wait and picked up the order. At that time, I left a 1-star review because of the excessive wait time, but later I realized it might have been harsh and I deleted the review. However, what happened today completely changed my perception of this place. I went there to refer a friend for a job, because Mr. Bishnu himself had previously asked me to bring her. Instead of a normal conversation, he confronted me about that old review. During the conversation he said that if I "behave like this" I will not be welcomed at the restaurant anymore -- simply because I once left a review about slow service. The attitude was extremely egoistic and disrespectful. Even when I calmly tried to explain that this is not the way you treat a customer who has been supporting your business for years, his response was shocking. His exact words were essentially: "It's fine if you don't come. It won't make any difference to my restaurant. Even Mr Bishnu used a word " I don't care and F*ck about people" Imagine telling that to someone who has been coming here for 4 years, recommending the place to friends, and bringing new customers who also continued coming. This kind of arrogance toward loyal customers is unbelievable. A business should value feedback and long-time customers, not threaten them or dismiss them because of one honest review about service delays. After today's experience, I honestly feel disrespected and unwelcome, and I would strongly suggest other customers think twice before supporting a place where customer loyalty clearly means nothing. Mr Bishnu you lost a loyal customer to SPICE OF NEPAL & KATHMANDU BAR AND GRILLfor sure. If there are lot of other customers for you , there are lot of other restaurants around. YOU KEEP YOUR EGO, I WILL KEEP MY SELF RESPECT
