For some reason, this wax didn't hurt as much as my last one (at Wax On). I don't know if it was the wax or the prep. I don't really care. I'm smooth and happy. I came here to get my eyebrows laminated. While this is not my first time getting my eyebrows…read morelaminated, it was my first time here. The whole thing felt really rushed and impersonal. There was no prep, the second my head hit the back of the chair she was applying the solution. In previous experience they had kind of combed them into place and then asked if the shape was good before applying the solution to my brows, but there was no time for that. She was really rough wiping the solution off my brows and wiped it all the way up my forehead, which caused a lot of irritation. Once I started turning red, she went to the sink to get a wet cotton ball for my forehead and then finally applied some witch hazel. Some irritation is normal to me because I have sensitive skin, it normally clears in a couple hour, but all the way up the forehead was definitely not the norm and 24 hours later my skin is still irritated and burning. They came out looking crazy. I had asked if she could comb them up at the front and then to the side so it wasn't all straight up, but it didn't quite work out that way. The hair strands are clumped together and messy. I didn't say anything in the moment because I really just wanted to go home, but I will definitely not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.
