They offered a free consult which few shops do. I go there they had a screen of all different lion tattoo variations. A specific program for tattooing. Very cool. They printed out a few I liked and we three discussed pros and cons of size and placement. Ying, myself, and Connor the tattoo artist. I embarrassingly had to reschedule a couple sessions and arrived late for my first one (100% my fault) and they established with great kindness a boundary around time while giving me the full time of tattooing. They could have charged me the hour I was late (bad communication on my part) they did not. Now don't take that as permission to do what I did cause you might (and should) be charged, but I share this to show how friendly, understanding, and at the same time professional they are. Took two sessions a total of 7 1/2 hrs I think. Second session I was on time ;) Connor starts a stop watch when he begins and shows you. That's when the charging begins , and stops the stop watch immediately when he's done , and shows you as well. I thought that was very cool of him and all ships should do that. The place was sparkling clean, organized, and worth Connors time. He's an amazing artist.

Kathy was friendly and I figured I'd give it another go since the work and pricing was fairly reasonable. However, I'm sad to write about my second experience :( I was hoping to get Kathy again but I was paired with another nail technician. I'm hoping it was just "a bad day" for her but the moment I walked in, the energy was heavy and even a bit aggressive lol. I've never felt so tense throughout the entire session, which I was hoping to be relaxing. She made comments as to why I had long nails before and told me never to do that "hard gel". I've also never got my nails dunked in a bowl of acetone before. It's usually wrapped so the smell isn't overwhelming? I've went back and forth about whether or not to write this review since I'm usually one to promote businesses! I am hoping it was just a bad day but I fear I won't be back as the energy of this particular tech was a lot/she seemed unhappy... I wish I could say it was good work but my nails and polish didn't even last a week, even with GEL!! :( Two nails broke and the paint peeled off. I was sad because this was my birthday nails lol. If you're looking for great service, you might be able to find it elsewhere, but you certainly are going to be paying through the teeth for it. If you ask me, I would take $10 for some attitude ANY DAY over $50 for polite service. 5 stars.
