Extremely Unreliable and Unprofessional…read more I booked Gerrael more than two weeks in advance for a move from SoCal. He confirmed the date and promised to arrive at 9am. On the morning of the move, at 8am, he texted saying his flight was cancelled and he couldn't make it. This immediately created a lot of stress because I had planned everything around this confirmed date. He did offer to move me the next day, but that was not an option and we had clearly agreed on the original date as the only workable time. And by that point the trust was broken -- how do I know he will actually show up? I asked which airline he was flying, checked the flights myself, and found there were no cancellations that day. When I called, he refused to answer. When I texted again to clarify, he stopped responding completely and never followed up. Because of his no-show and ghosting, I had to scramble to find a last-minute mover on the same day, which took hours and caused a huge amount of unnecessary stress. I would never use this company again. There was no accountability, no reliability, and no professionalism throughout the entire experience.

Moving is so stressful! Celtic Movers really played a big part in relieving some of that stress…read more From beginning to end these guys were the best. They did a walk through and gave a fair estimate, that was spot on. They communicate quickly and honestly and show up when they say they will. Our move was hard, our closing date got changed not once, but twice. They were patient and worked with us, storing our stuff longer than was expected. The crew we had on both ends were Miseal, Jorge, Rene, and German and they were excellent. We had 2 trucks and a pod that they had to unload in 100 degree weather! They got it done in 6 hours! They were professional, organized, and friendly! And not one broken or damaged item! If you have a move coming, go to these guys, Marty, Noah, and the crew are fantastic!

BEWARE: Perez Moving Co. is a disaster. They had no idea what they were doing. The list of things…read morethey broke is too long for this review. It includes art, candlesticks, antiques, a headboard, and on and on. When we complained, they claimed items "must have moved in the truck." But our belongings weren't even properly protected. These are not Professional Movers, they are just Guys Who Move Stuff. Big difference. Professional moving companies do more than just lift boxes. They protect your belongings and get them safely from point A to point B. These guys failed across the board. They didn't wrap up any of our things, including our art. Paintings arrived scratched and damaged. They didn't wrap fragile objects, like ceramic vases (?!!) instead the movers shoved them into boxes along with other items. Various items had multiple parts, but since these weren't packaged together, parts were lost. The goal of this moving company seemed to be to get the move over with as quickly as possible without a single concern about our belongings. I wish I'd looked more closely at these reviews before booking this moving company. I would've noticed (as you should) that most of the reviews are written by people who seem to have joined Yelp just to write a positive review of this company. Major red flag. Don't make the same mistake we did. If you value your valuables, find another moving company.

I asked seven companies, and Perez's Moving LLC was the only one that said yes -- and they delivered. Felix's communication was outstanding. When connecting the new machines called for extra parts, Felix went to the appliance store twice to get exactly what was needed. This is a team that genuinely cares about doing the job well. I'm so grateful for their hard work and won't be using anyone else. Highly recommend.

The flexibility to stop by a donation center and general professionalism meant they won the opportunity from me. Many movers responded, but few of them were upfront about pricing, and most were quoting $600+. Happy Family Moving gave us the most competitive price, so we went ahead with them. The positives were that they were punctual, courteous, and more than well-equipped to handle the job. Their truck had a cool, mechanical loading dock that made things simpler. However, what soured the experience was at the end. It was a 3-hour minimum, and they completed the move in 2 hours. I paid them the 3-hour minimum price. The older gentleman then got a bit feisty demanding a tip which I obliged, but then he kept asking for more. He asked to be tipped for each hour for each employee that worked. I pointed out they had only worked 2 hours. He then insisted the tip should also apply to the time they spent driving from San Francisco. I sure wish I got paid for my commute time!

We're very happy with the move since they came over with our last-minute request after an earlier move despite the pouring rain. The truck was huge (see photo) and like new, and very clean inside. While they're not the super big guys that I was hoping for, turned out it didn't matter and may be even better since they're very smart about how best to take things apart and how best to put them back, and were very nimble and efficient with wrapping the furniture. In particular, there was a heavy electrical reclinable sofa that when Macy delivered them to the place as new, their mover literally had to jam it through barely through the elevator and into the apartment due to its size. In fact, another big guy friend and I could not jam it back out, hence the last-minute request for help. When these guys came over, they took a quick look and said no problem, and in a couple of minutes, took the sofa back apart with a few clicks, and a large heavy sofa became very manageable pieces and nicely blanketed and wrapped, and later reassembled them professionally. In the end they handled the whole move smoothly and efficiently. Highly recommend them!
