Robin is just amazing! She was technically just our month-of coordinator but she was available for questions from the very beginning when we booked her! She gave us great advice and she looked over every contract to ensure everything we should be thinking about is covered. Robin also provided us with a list of vendors in our price point. We're so glad we had her in our corner for the whole process, especially since we planned our wedding from July 2020 to our actual and only date of June 2021! Covid made everything so uncertain and Robin made sure we thought of everything in advance and gave such sound advice from her 20+ years experience of wedding planning! The actual wedding day was completely seamless! Our guests kept saying how beautiful and fun the wedding was. Honestly, our wedding turned out even better than I hoped for! Thank you for everything Robin!

Robin Lewis is one of the nicest, most patient people you will ever meet, and she will work tirelessly to make your wedding a success. Our guests have all told us that our wedding was one of the most unique and beautiful weddings they have ever seen, and Robin deserves much of the credit for helping us pull it together. Robin's work ethic is second to none, she is easy to reach by phone and e-mail, she is an industry veteran, and she shields you from every last minute crisis so you can really enjoy your wedding day. *Details* Last weekend, we had a picnic-themed Hindu-Jewish wedding on a private estate in San Jose. We had three rental companies, two caterers, a separate staffing company, and lots of DIY aspects. Robin was proficient and professional every step of the way and far exceeded the duties set out in her contract. We considered several other planners before finding Robin, but it was clear that Robin was the best fit for us. During my first call with Robin, before we had a contract, she really took the time to understand our vision for the wedding. She was genuinely excited! She drafted a comprehensive "month-of" contract, and her fee was more than fair for the service she was offering. Some "day-of" planners who charge similar rates only kick into gear two weeks before the big day, but one month is far more reasonable to spot and solve any problems. In addition to managing the wedding timeline, conducting the rehearsal, and managing the flow of the day, Robin agreed to help review contracts, perform a walk through at the venue, and take part in the food tasting with the caterer. It was great to see Robin in person a couple of times before our big day to iron out some of the details. Also, Robin only works one wedding per weekend, and it was great to know from the get-go that she would be totally focused on us during our special day. Contracting Contracting is a huge part of the wedding planning process, and even though I am familiar with the language of contracts, it was incredibly valuable to have a diligent expert like Robin during this process. When I couldn't find a vendor myself, she made introductions and inquiries to look for the best fit for me. Robin would carefully review each contract I received, making sure that the deposits, deadlines, and cancellation terms made sense. We went in to our big day not only knowing what would happen if everything went perfectly, but also what would happen if something went wrong. Robin answered all email inquiries promptly during this process. She also gained a perfect understanding of our vision for the day. Her mind is razor-sharp and she remembers every detail. She executed perfectly in the end because she knew exactly what we wanted all along. Timeline Robin sent out a timeline to all the vendors a month before the big day. This was a super useful tool to make sure that every task had an owner (even something as simple as setting up a lawn game) and that everyone had enough time to perform their tasks. It helped synchronize the deliveries, hair and makeup artists, photographers, and more, and is perhaps the single most useful document a wedding planner can generate before the wedding. Robin also demands confirmation from all vendors, which is great for ensuring that you have as few surprises as possible on the wedding day. The Wedding Day This is when I understood why Robin calls her business "Make It Happen." She arrived at the venue early to make sure things were in place, and a couple of things had already gone off the rails. Our staffing company showed up without ice, which we had contracted with them to bring, and our caterer got a flat tire and was over two hours late. Robin stepped in and helped the staffing company set up while one team member went to get ice, and quickly made contingency plans to account for the caterer's lateness. She managed to set help set up the welcome area, get us ready for the processional, manage the flow of the day, and pay all the vendors at the end of the evening while constantly helping the staffing and catering companies. This is far in excess of what she was contracted for, but she did what was needed and was totally unfazed. Robin shielded my wife and me from dealing with the chaos, which allowed us to really enjoy our wedding. There is really no way to thank her fully for everything she did for us that day. Summary Because of Robin's hard work throughout the planning process and especially on our wedding day, everything went on as scheduled and the venue looked absolutely beautiful despite some pretty major setbacks. Most couples say their wedding day was a blur, but my wife and I have so many crystal clear happy memories, in large part because of Robin Lewis. Thank you, Robin, for making the happiest day of our lives even happier!

However, a few months before the wedding I was so overwhelmed with all the detail that Brenda offered to meet and she just helped me organized my priorities and made me feel really good about the progress I had made. She did the same 6 weeks later. OMG, so helpful to keep me going and manage the overwhelm. As the date grew nearer, she started leading more to ensure we took care of those horrible details (seating charts, signage, communication with vendors, table set ups, and the timeline, etc). At every moment she was calm, lovely, relatable, fun, reassuring, and extremely competent. The week before the wedding she came over and took ownership of all the "stuff" (candles, ceremony items, decorations, etc). That felt sooo good. She was great at the rehearsal and made sure "all the cats were herded"so we got through the rehearsal and worked out all the details. The day of the wedding? We were so relaxed and didn't think about a single thing. The tables were set exactly as we had discussed, the ambiance was amazing, every little detail she had taken care of. and then she cleaned up and stored everything for us and then brought it back to us a couple of days later. During the wedding, Brenda was a total ninja....I barely saw her at the wedding as she was in the background making it all happen so we could enjoy our guests. A guest even took a picture of her that makes her look like the super hero she is, LOL! You will LOVE working with Brenda. I cannot recommend her more vigorously. She is amazing.

From the first call, she put our anxious brains at ease and listened carefully to what weirdo vision we had in mind + what things we were most afraid of turning awry. Having never planned such a fete before, I had hella dumbass questions to lob at her, but that did not faze her at all. Not only is Cierra hypercompetent at her job and super solutions-oriented and knowledgeable, she is a plain joy to talk to and bounce ideas off of and joke around with. Just an all-round cool human that added to the overall atmosphere of love and appreciation we wanted to foster at our wedding (while also running an impeccably tight ship without breaking a sweat). ANYWAY needless to say we are major Cierra fans here and want you all to know that she is a dream collaborator for your big day, may you be so lucky!

The vibes felt right, and we loved that she would help us bring our vision to life by including design. We picked the partial planning & design package but honestly, after working with her, we wished we had just done full service planning. In our first meeting we gave her an idea of what we had envisioned for the day, including a shared pinterest board. From there she made a design deck that really brought our day to life. Alex provided the best vendor recommendations (including for some with whom she had relationships and discounts), thoughtful design ideas, and guidance on the overall flow of the day. She joined us for our food tasting, met with us in person to pick out our rentals, and she coordinated a site visit with the vendors in preparation for the wedding. We didn't think we needed a content creator, but she even provided us with one and it was a great addition to capturing the memories of the day! Throughout the planning process, Alex was easy to reach, responsive, collaborative, open to feedback, and genuinely easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, Alex brought everything together seamlessly. She handled every detail behind the scenes, even things that didn't go as planned were handled quickly and professionally. This really allowed us to be fully present and actually enjoy the day. When I walked down the aisle for the first time, I was blown away!! It was BEYOND, BEYOND what we had even hoped for. We are soo blessed and grateful that we got to work with Alex. In the words of my husband - Earth & Events really cooked!! 10/10 recommend, expectations fully exceeded! Thank you Alex!!

Even when we booked the place two years in advance, we knew no matter how much we planned--this was going to be an ordeal. In the midst of finishing school and starting careers, we'd need to get our families, friends and many, many heavy bags from California and over the Atlantic and throw a party so good it would be worth all the trouble. All without exploding from stress until, at least, after the "I do's" (with our dog in tow to boot). But, to make things just a little bit more intense, we both wanted our dream "editorial" wedding, something we'd been envisioning and manifesting since we started dating at 16. We were ready to put in the hours and the work to make it happen, but we knew we had to find someone with an inordinate amount of skill, like someone born to be a planner, to chart and direct our efforts to our ever, admittedly, lofty goals (and having competitive pricing wouldn't hurt!). Enter Alex and Earth and Events. From our first Zoom call, Alex calmly led the way--through picking cuisines, to florals, to a photographer, to stationary, to a dj, to desserts, to drapery, to chairs, to make up, to seating charts, etc., etc. (but she went beyond all that too--on quite short notice she took her mom on a vacation and flew to meet us in Italy a year before the wedding to explore the venue, theorize seating and dinner setups, and just to better understand Tuscany). Alex quickly showed that she was the kind of person we could trust with every detail, every idea, and every last action item. And, not that we ever left the wheel--we felt like we pestered her night and day to ask her opinion on a zillion things (and otherwise keep her posted on our every imaginable anxiety). But through it all, she remained calm and centered. Her approach was pragmatic and certain of results. And it makes sense--please take a moment to see the photos attached. Zoom in and notice her command of myriad details and then zoom out to appreciate her creation of scenes. Alex has heaps of creative skill. And when you have this much skill, there really isn't a problem you can't overcome or smooth over in achieving your client's vision. And trust us, when you are planning an international wedding, things come up--and even go wrong--because everything is just a bit closer to the edge. But this isn't a story about things going wrong. This a five star review because Alex not only delivered on the vision, but solved our every problem along the way. And we are so grateful for the memories so vibrant and amorous they'll last a lifetime. So, congratulations, you just found the best planner in Northern California--and its our blessing to call Alex our friend.

It was a total surprise, flawlessly planned and executed by the incredible team at Bash Please, and filled with exactly 40 of my favorite people. Yes, 40 people for 40 years -- how perfect is that? The setting was stunning. Bash Please somehow captured everything I love and turned it into an effortlessly beautiful, inviting, and joy-filled atmosphere. Every detail -- from the long communal tables to the coastal-inspired décor -- felt personal and thoughtful, like it was made just for me. Because it was. And the food? A crab feed feast that dreams are made of. Piles of fresh, buttery crab, warm sourdough, crisp salads, and all the fixings. The kind of meal that gets messy in the best way -- everyone cracking shells, passing platters, laughing, and making memories. It was communal, it was delicious, and it was so me. Champagne flowed, the conversations never stopped, and I felt completely surrounded by love. I genuinely can't think of a better way to ring in a new decade. Massive thanks to Bash Please for pulling off a night that was perfectly designed and truly unforgettable. I felt celebrated, cherished, and completely surprised -- and that's no easy feat. 10/10. The staff seemed very flustered on what to do and how to accommodate everyone. My boyfriend and I were offered to sit outside, which we took because we were not willing to wait any longer! I will say the manger sorting this out for us was extremely sweet and I did appreciate her. We were seated in the balcony which faces the big screen on chase center and had additional smaller TV's upstairs. I will say we were seated on the very end where there is no TV, which was kinda a bummer. The outdoor area was not finished yet, but I was surprised this seat was offered as seating. It was apparent that this section wasn't complete yet and I felt like I wasn't getting the full experience sitting in an incomplete part of the restaurant. As for the food, my boyfriend and I wanted to try a little bit of everything because foodies...DUH! The waiter bringing out food said "Wait... Is there more people jointing you? This is a lot of food." And he was being completely serious. Not that I should have to explain anything to him, when I am a customer giving good business. I have never had a waiter say this to me. This comment was completely unnecessary and yes it did really kill the excitement that I had to be here and try out this new restaurant. Overall, probably won't be back. There's a lot of hype around this place but it will most likely be busy for the next few months but hopefully they are able to figure out how to accommodate guests during games and hire staff with manners. The concept of this place is super cool and I will say the vibe is very fun and made for all sports fans. As for the food, pretty mid and would rather go somewhere else that deserves my business. The environment is top notch, the staff are friendly and attentive, food fantastic as well. Oh and they play the audio of the game that's being featured instead of playing music over it unlike other sports bars. I really appreciate that. The one thing I would change, is that it sucks that you can't go where you like in the building due to private events and such. Makes sense, but some of these events seem like they are scheduled for a MUCH later time. Wish we could use the space in the mean time. Having said that, this place is great and I will be going again in the future for any big game.
