The BEST meal! We did the 8 course option and not a single one disappointed. They even threw in some surprise extra courses so it really turned out to be 11ish courses. The chef even asked us if we were still hungry before the dessert came just to make sure we were satisfied! The level of service is just impeccable. The wait staff was awesome too. So attentive and informative about each course. The open kitchen concept is awesome; you can see how much work and dedication goes into each dish! We can't wait to come back.

So delish here! If you've never done a tasting, this is the place to go! Our 3 course meal was mouthwatering and delicious! Farm to table ingredients with a Hell's Kitchen view. Staff were informative, helpful, accommodating and cheerful! We had the Buffalo ravioli, cod over lobster crème sauce and mussels. Our desserts were a rose Pinot noir sorbet and mixed other pieces. We will definitely be back for the larger tastings! Great experience, gluten free accommodations and small town feel!

We came in from South Lake Tahoe looking for a good local dining experience and hit the lottery. We couldn't believe the food at Maize in the small Pennsylvania town of Perkasie. I should have photographed each of the 4 courses because they were so beautiful and tasted divine! My husband and I haven't had an experience like this in a while!!! Delicious, great atmosphere and lovely vibe. We'll be back and highly recommend Maize!

You haven't lived until you've experienced an 8 course tasting at Maize. Chef Matt is one of, if not the most, talented chefs I've ever met. To say you can taste the love in his food would be an understatement! I've visited Maize now countless times with my husband and numerous family and friends, and we can truly say this is one of our most favorite restaurants! Nothing else compares to the experience, from the fresh and local ingredients, to the friendly and attentive staff, to the most delicious and creative dishes. Our favorite part is not having to decide what to order since there isn't a menu, and the chef prepares creative dishes based on what's fresh and in-season/local. We've done the 3 course, 5 course and 8 course. All have been amazing but if you're not a picky eater the 8 course is the way to go! Chef Matt is also super accommodating to different allergies and preferences, and some of our pickiest of friends have been blown away! Chef Matt, thank you! It's so refreshing to find a restaurant that is not only delicious and unique, but one where we leave wondering why we waste our money elsewhere! You are truly talented and we cannot recommend Maize enough!

From start for finish, a superb meal. Cozy atmosphere. The chef was able to accommodate our last minute request to do a 5 course tasting menu (3 courses are the norm. ) Flavors perfectly melded, portions perfect, and presentation beautiful. Can't say enough about the staff...so attentive to our needs. Truly a hidden gem.

Experience was amazing. Went to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Be aware all food is made and prepared at the same time as your neighbor & time slot. Bring conversations & any drinks you enjoy. Food is super fresh and the food has many layers. Chef is so friendly and willing to engage with you.

After hearing people rave about this restaurant, we decided to book a reservation sight unseen! We got lucky and we're able to book a table for two on a Friday night after a cancellation. The place is super small and quaint with a full view of the kitchen. Personally, we really appreciated this since it adds to the "farm to table" experience. The chef was right there cooking each dish. It's BYOB which is always a plus. The menu is fixed so if you have no food allergies, restrictions, and are a bit more adventurous it'll be right up your alley. Personally, I don't mind since sometimes choosing from the menu can be a daunting experience. Either way, you will not be disappointed! Each dish was carefully crafted and full of flavor. I highly recommend for a nice dinner!

Dessert - chocolate ice cream, chocolate almond cake, two mousses, cream and berries. Yum!

Food and experience are always the best, or at least an interesting dish even if it's not your taste. Staff is friendly and it's a special treat to come here. It does break the wallet so we reserve for very special occasions. Tasting menu consists of 8 small plate courses so you truly get to sample a whole bunch of fine cuisine dishes throughout a 2.5+ hour leisurely meal. In addition, there are biscuits to start the meal and an extra sweet dessert with your check. $9 for a decaf cappuccino is a little ridiculous, but you are paying for the experience and it was delicious. It's clear that the intention is to talk and not feel rushed but truly savor each small bite. Seems like they only host one seating per evening. Meals can take hours but you'll leave feeling like you just experienced something special. It can get loud, as it did for us last night, due to rude and obnoxious guests, since the place is small. It's not the restaurant's fault of course, but they could make more of an effort to let people know their voices are traveling and may be disturbing other patrons. It's BYOB which is a plus since you will easily drop $200 for two on their tasting menu.

The convenience alone made this hotel a perfect choice--being able to walk over to the theater was a huge plus. The show itself was a Harry Chapin tribute in January 2026 featuring original band members Steve Chapin, Howie Fields, and Big John Wallace, which made the evening especially memorable. The hotel itself has Victorian details and a grand antique bar that gives the whole place a great vibe. It is a must-stay if you appreciate history mixed with modern comfort. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, providing a high-end yet cozy place to rest after the show. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant before the concert, and the breakfast the next morning (included with our stay) was great. If you are seeing a show at the theater, do yourself a favor and stay here--this is a very enjoyable stay and a place I'd happily return to, especially if attending an event at the theater.

5-Stars it is!! *…read moreCASH ONLY- they have ATM on premise but cash is king! * Make reservations- we had reservations for 7p- but moved it to 5p and glad we did- this little spot fills up fast *BYOB Hubby and I came here to see what all the rave reviews were about and were immediately greeted warmly and with a smile, seated and given menus with an explanation of the specials. We started off with appetizers- which are really great for sharing- perogies for the Hubby and I had the liver dumpling soup- both were fantastic. Hubby had the German mixed salad with his meal, the special was sausage with both chicken and pork Schnitzel and potatoes, I had the sauerbraten with potatoes and we both had a side of the sauerkraut. We took a To-Go of the stuffed chicken breast with mozzarella and spinach and soup, with broccoli and an order of perogies. 2 Root beers, and he had the apple strudel and I ordered the Bienenstich. Our server was Karen- I want to give a huge thank you to her, she was an absolute delight, sweet, friendly and made sure our dinner was perfect, she is wonderful and next time we come for dinner, we hope she is our waitress. Food was incredible, I have not had "family" style German food in probably 13 years if not longer- I used to eat all the time at Alpine Village in Torrance Ca and at Phoenix Club in Brea Ca- both I was a long time foodie at, and never had a bad meal! It is so great to know that Sebastian's is our new place for delicious German food. Dinner for the 3 was roughly $180.00, but before you say "that's a lot", the food is delicious, the wait staff is amazing and both my husband and I gladly pay good money for fantastic food, like what we had here at Sebastian's.

CASH ONLY CASH ONLY…read moreCASH ONLY CASH ONLY Did I mention CASH ONLY So we are thinking about getting Christmas Eve dinner catered from here, so we tried it out yesterday. There was a decent amount of confusion and dialect disconnect, but I believe they have most of their regular menu available. We also ordered a bunch of different items to taste test and we were extremely happy! Let me get into my issue... At no point until I walked into the restaurant, did they mention cash only, oh and check! They take checks! But they never list if on ther website, or any social media sites. They do not mention it over the phone either... so I walk in expecting to pay with card and wham. CASH ONLY... They do have an ATM on site, but to use it, you need an ATM card or a pin on your CC, which I did not have. My FiL had to meet me half way back with cash so I could pay. I really wish they post it online or somewhere people can see before walking in.... I had half a mind to cancel lol! Well that's my gripe! Ordering food, there was a slight language barrier as well. But all in all, it went OK. The lot needs better lighting and or a sign that points to the main entrance. We walked the wrong way and ended up at tables and chairs in storage.... It is very very very homey inside. Very homey. It feels like Oma's living room. With Hummel and biersteins everywhere, and it mean everywhere! Do not bring young kids here lol! It does look nice though! Must but nightmare to dust... Service is unique, the owner was trying to make small talk, and this is after my cash issue, I was kind of zoned out... also had 2 kids that were surprisingly behaving! I got super lucky with that lol! I was able to pay cash and he threw in a few items for free, he gave me a potato soup and a Rahm sauce. Brought the food home and feasted! I got the triple schnitzel combo with Veal, pork, chicken. All were delicious, I like the brown gravy (which had a nice tang) as well as the Rahm sauce with it. By itself it was good, I think they do it more Italian style with only breadcrumbs and no flour, but it was still good. The Veal was the best, but small! The other 2 were very good! I subbed mash for home fries which had sautéed onions and were a great touch, but it needed salt. The sauce helped! I also got a side or spaetzle, which were good but needed sauce and or salt, and did not have much seasoning. But that is German food... I'm not saying its bland, but its sauce heavy! Perogies were absolutely killer! I want a tray lol! Great filling, super soft, great taste! Wife and FiL had the chicken cordon blue, and they were huge!!! They were delicious, but even better with the Rahm sauce. I need a gallon of it lol! Wife liked the Red cabbage, I enjoyed it as well, great flavor. I personally like it sweeter. FiL had the mash and like it. I also got Linzer Tarts which disappeared very quickly lol! Everyone enjoyed them! All in all a great meal, I wish they'd let you know cash only... we look forward to getting catering on Christmas Eve!

The food here is insanely fresh as was our daily interpretation involving copious use of root vegetables. In a Woodstock mood, I went for a mushroom motif inclusive of a mushroom onion soup and mushroom infused homemade cavatelli. You won't get points for atmosphere as the location is main street central and directly across from an Irish pub that is still serving the same slab of corned beef that they first boiled in 1991. If you're a foodie or even a fraudie, 12 Farms offers infinite pleasures and is richly deserving of a resounding five stars. Speaking of rich bring lots of cash as plastic is not accepted.

The soup sampling consisted of three very tiny cups that were sort of like an espresso size cup. The salad was a very small portion. They said that the portion sizes were not smaller because of the $65 price fix option. If you ordered the salads à la carte they arranged from $19-$22 I believe. Had I did the à la cart and received that portion for that much money I would be disappointed to say the least; my wife and I often share a salad before entrées and generally speaking they are big enough to share but their portion wasn't enough for me alone. Presentation was beautiful and service was great, as well as the ambience, and we have been there several times. We are raying a 3 because of the positives, but I did consider making it a 2. I hope the restaurant takes note and addresses the piints I made. Note that the entrée portions were good.
