The most amazing EVER! You have to try anything from Macha, it's truly heavenly. From her cakes to her croissants, she makes everything super authentic and with the finest ingredients. She imports many of her ingredients from France , and uses the best skill and techniques. Everything she makes looks like art, it's truly hard to eat because it's so cute but once you try you'll never go back. Highest standards for your pastries and treat yourself to the finest around. Truly melts in your mouth. The flakiest croissants you'll ever have, you can literally unravel the flaky layers. Not to mention the French and vegan this combination is almost impossible to find let alone this delicious! Please try Macha's pastries and let me know what you think, I am truly obsessed and her biggest fan! A very big part of my holiday celebrations and cravings for many more years to come , merci Macha :)!

Vegan French patisserie is hard to find and Macha executes it perfectly! Everything is top notch delicious but if you have to get only one thing pick up the pecan tart. It is everything you hope it will be and more! The crust is delicate, the cream is luscious, and the candied nuts on top are perfectly balanced. It was one of the best dessert I had had in a while. Can't wait to experience it again!

SERVICE Made reservations on OpenTable and it was free, quick, and easy. Although it was hard to get through to someone in the restaurant so you can call the hotel to add any notes for your server if needed. Really appreciated my server coming out with a complimentary birthday cheesecake and candle :) INSIDE Spacious, clean, very aesthetic. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Great for brunch gal vibes! FOOD Happy hour specials and dine LA menu available! I tried their almond trout and it was delicious, perfectly cooked tender salmon with a slightly salted and crisp skin. Plenty of veggies underneath and topped with hearty almonds. Delicious ~$30! A bit pricey for a burger which is $20 so def take advantage of happy hour specials. My colleagues say it was pretty good though and came with a hearty side of fries.

It's such a great spot to sit outside on a sunny day. They also have an amazing lunch prix fixe menu, plus happy hour and daily specials that are honestly hard to beat. Since it's a French restaurant, we had to try the escargot. The texture was great, it was super flavorful, and dipping the bread into the sauce it came with was chef's kiss. I got the Bistro Burger, and wow it was so good. The Wagyu beef was juicy, the bun was soft and fluffy, and everything just worked. I know you don't usually go to a French restaurant for the fries, but these were genuinely some of the best fries I've ever had. I also found out they have bottomless mimosas and weekly jazz nights, which immediately made me want to come back. Overall, I had such an amazing experience here. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. I will 1000% be returning.

Service here is great though so I would maybe come back for happy hours drinks and small bites. The best thing we tried was the Wild Mushroom Tarte & the Creme Brulee. The tarte was the only item that was perfectly seasoned and balanced. It's rich, for sure, but it's a small plate so it's not overwhelming. Other dishes: - Soupe a l'Oignon Gratinee: burnt cheese that taste burnt in a bad way, onions not well caramelized (they seemed rushed), and flavorless broth - Boeuf Bourguignon: beef was tender but flavor fell felt, needed some salt to enhance the flavor - Moules Frites: perfectly crispy and seasoned fries, mussels were cooked well, but the broth needed salt At one point our server took the salt from our table and brought it to another, so not enough salt seemed to be a theme with their food. We came for DineLA and I'm glad we got to check out a place we hadn't gone before. Ambiance wise, it does remind you of a Parisian brasserie. But at $100+ I wanted a great meal and it was just okay.

I was a little concerned about some of the reviews but we had such a wonderful experience. A lot of the negative reviews had to do with customer service, and our experience was quite the opposite. We were served everything quickly and attentively, and our main server gave great recommendations and apologized for "waits" when there wasn't even a wait! After we were seated, we asked to be moved to the pretty spacious table next to the large window, and they were happy to accommodate. Giving us a memorable experience seemed to be very important to all of the staff. Drinks - I fell in love with the Dillinger (Old Forrester, Mexican corn whiskey, licor de elote). It tasted like a slightly sweet kettle corn old fashioned. My husband actually ordered it, and traded drinks with me because I loved it so much. Food - We ordered the scallop crudo to share, the house baguette, and French onion soup to share. I'm glad we ordered the scallops and the strawberry pairing was unexpected and interesting. My personal fave was the soup, which our servers kindly split into 2 tureens for us to share (soup is pretty hard to share otherwise, amirite?) It was so delicious that I found myself peeling the extra cheese from the bowl. For mains, I went with the Tagiatelle and husband ordered the steak frites. While the pasta was delicious and rich with flavor, the wagyu was one of the juiciest, most tender and well-seasoned steaks I've had in a while and I'm not even a big steak/red meat lady. Paul just ordered better than me overall! The live jazz band added even more to the beautiful ambiance. You wouldn't be out of place dressing fancy like we did, or even getting up to dance! There is also a bar/lounge upstairs and a bar on the 1st floor if you wanted to enjoy the music longer or have a nightcap.

We started with their mushroom tourte, one of their favorite appetizers, serving puff pastry topped with creamy mushrooms and truffle oil. Perfect opening with hypnotizing truffle aroma. As for the entree, we tried both the Lamb Shank and their crowd's favorite Duck Confit. My husband who's a fan of lamb did love his dish as the meat was tender, portion was satisfying, and it's rich in flavor. I was in the camp of those who couldn't stand lamb's after-taste so the duck confit was my option. Extremely juicy meat with palatable sauce and nice crispy skin. We got their Creme Brulee for dessert and it just gorgeously ended the dinner set, being moist and silky, not eggy at all, flawlessly topped with torched caramel layer.

We went on a thursday night and other guests were mostly french (that's how you know it's locally approved)! The decor was modern chic on the outside and the inside decor was different on the inside- hipster cafe with quotes. The food itself was unbelievable! The pricing is on the higher side but worth it given the taste! We had bone marrow which had a nice buttery flavor; the Beef bourguignon was tender and well flavored; and their house special Black cod (available only for one week) was so flavorful and cooked delicately that it melted in our mouths! It was the best fish we ever tasted and we didn't even know fish could taste like that!!! We also recommend the mango passionfruit lemonade. Not too sweet and tasted very fresh. We also thought it was one of the best and freshest lemonade we ever tasted! Word of note though is that the food portion is on the smaller side for Americans (which is actually normal sized for Europeans). Overall fantastic food! My mouth is watering thinking about it! Definitely recommend for special occasions and if you want very food french food!
