The most amazing EVER! You have to try anything from Macha, it's truly heavenly. From her cakes to her croissants, she makes everything super authentic and with the finest ingredients. She imports many of her ingredients from France , and uses the best skill and techniques. Everything she makes looks like art, it's truly hard to eat because it's so cute but once you try you'll never go back. Highest standards for your pastries and treat yourself to the finest around. Truly melts in your mouth. The flakiest croissants you'll ever have, you can literally unravel the flaky layers. Not to mention the French and vegan this combination is almost impossible to find let alone this delicious! Please try Macha's pastries and let me know what you think, I am truly obsessed and her biggest fan! A very big part of my holiday celebrations and cravings for many more years to come , merci Macha :)!

Vegan French patisserie is hard to find and Macha executes it perfectly! Everything is top notch delicious but if you have to get only one thing pick up the pecan tart. It is everything you hope it will be and more! The crust is delicate, the cream is luscious, and the candied nuts on top are perfectly balanced. It was one of the best dessert I had had in a while. Can't wait to experience it again!

Nothing to revert about. But wow, that mimosa was filled to the rim! I got the speciality weekend brunch spritz. I don't remember what it was call but it was strong and refreshing. Yes. The spritz was strong or my tolerance has gone way down. First course: I was pleasantly surprised by how big the Avacado toast was. It had a jam at the bottom that brought the whole dish together. Like my HH review, some micro greens would have taken my heard back. I just love microgreens! Deviled eggs and croquetts I've tried before. They were both pretty good. Croquetts can't do wrong. Mains: I got the crab Benedict and it was awesome! I filled up on my avocado toast so I took half of it home. There was plenty of crab and the poached egg was running and bright orange. That's some healthy eggs! Fresh toast looked amazing as well, same with the burger. I know the burger was also popular at happy hour for the price but I was told it was very good. I'll have to go next time just for that. Parking: Just park by the paid lot by trader Joe's or off Cardiff. Easier than trying to find parking on that street. The paid lot is $1 free and $1 additional hours. The patio was super charming with all the natural lights and shaded by the trees. The service was decent as well. Will took good care of us.

Well, Dine LA is happening and what better way than to try places you've been eyeing. I've heard good things about this place from friends that's been numerous of times and each visit was always amazing. Of course as it's part of Dine LA, it was a given to come and try this place for the first time. We had a reservation on a Friday night which was the start of Dine LA and let me say, this place was packed. Every single tables inside and out was utilized. They've made a name for themselves if it was that lively. Good on their part. It wasn't a long wait till our table was ready. We got seated on the patio side just along the street. Covered canopy with both hi top tables and standard tables. Positive side, there were loads of heat lamps as well as heated fireplaces separating pretty much all the tables. Gotta keep everyone warm during our LA winter. Inside is quite small compared to the seating outdoor with only a few tables. As Dine LA was happening, they offered a three course meal for 45.00 per person. If you weren't interested in that, their regular menu does offer loads of amazing dishes as well. We started off a bottle of their French Pinot which was quite nice. Not too strong and very smooth. Nice pair for dinner. Service was excellent and was taken good care by our waitress which I didn't get her name. She was great and very friendly. Dine LA Menu Starters -Soupe a l'oignon (French onion soup) melted Gruyère and brioche croutons -Ahi tuna tartare- avocado, balsamic reduction and spicy Cajun chips -Escargot a l'ail- 1/2 dozen escargot in garlic and parsley butter Mains -Boeuf Bourguignon- slow roasted beef stew with creamy potatoes puree in red wine sauce -Coq au Vin- braised chicken leg with glazed carrots, pearl onions and bordelaise sauce -Moules Frites (Mussels and fries)- PEI mussels in bisque sauce with garlic, Chablis, brandy Dessert -Crème brûlée- vanilla bean and turbinando sugar -Apple tarte tatin- caramelized apples with puff pastry dough and caramel sauce -Profiteroles- choux dough filled with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and roasted almonds. We each went with one of the starters. The French onion soup was perfect. The broth with the melted cheese, it was amazing. The flavors of everything paired together were perfect. Tuna tartare was great. The seasoning with the glaze and chips to paired with was great. Also fish was perfect and fresh. Lastly the escargot. If this doesn't scream French, I didn't know what does. I've had it at other restaurants and I can say this was amazing. The garlic sauce was perfect. Snails had a nice taste to it and quite tasty. Not tough at all. Everything was excellent. Mains, the boeuf Bourguignon was tasty. Nice chunks of beef with a nice thick sauce and pared with mashed potatoes. Sauce was excellent and not too strong. And the mussels, which was a hefty portion. The sauce which was like a lobster bisque was excellent. I'm use to a wine broth but the bisque was amazing. Nice meaty mussels cooked perfectly. We had to order a side of baguette for the bisque. Dessert, the profiteroles which I highly recommend. Two amazing pieces of puffed pastries filled with vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce. Mouthwatering at its best. And lastly the apple tarte, the right amount of sweetness and baked to perfection also served with ice cream. I can say that my first time here was amazing. The service, the food and everything was amazing. Not only dinner, they're also offering Dine LA for lunch. Regardless, it's going to be a priority to come back for another meal. The full menu looked amazing. Food was delicious and everyone left full and satisfied. Oh, there's some street parking if you could find them but loads of parking structures nearby.

I was easy street parking across the street and the restaurant has nice indoor and outdoor seating. For starter I ordered crab cakes and mussels with truffles & mushrooms. From dine LA menu, I ordered escargot cooked with garlic and parsley butter, I wish they just cook with traditional way, I did not like that taste of parsley in it. Boeuf Bourguignon was the main entree and I had a high hope for it since I really miss eating it. When it arrived the portion was small. It tasted no where close to authentic. I was really disappointed. Crème Brûlée was acceptable. It could be a nice hang out spot with friends for happy hour and live music but do not expect authentic French food.

Juliet is a French inspired Michelin new discovery restaurant in Culver City. Gorgeous interior with professional, courteous service. The wine list is mostly French with a good number of choices on the menu listed as sold out. Found a Nuits St George Burgundy though at a decent price that turned out to be a stunner. We shared oysters that were mostly Washington, but since we took the last ones they threw on some Baja ones too. Both types were excellent with a lovely salmon roe sauce. Entrees were shared and the lamb was excellent albeit the olive tapenade was too noticeable. The duck cigars (taquitos?) were the star and I could have happily devoured more of these. The risotto was excellent too. Wished there was a bread service but maybe there was a paid option that I missed. Wished the lamb had some accompaniments too. I drove home and then realized I was still hungry! But the food tasted excellent, the service was top notch, and the room was lovely. Recommended!

When we arrived, we were told the kitchen was already closed because they "didn't see" the reservation before deciding to shut everything down early. We even called right after making the reservation, but nobody answered the phone. What made the situation worse was the attitude from the host. Instead of apologizing or trying to help, he seemed annoyed that we were even there. His response was basically, "The kitchen is closed, I don't know what else to tell you," and he added that this had "never happened before." No accountability whatsoever. On top of that, the restaurant claims they validate valet, but we still had to pay $20 for parking with validation, which we paid before even parking. So we drove all the way there, paid for parking, and never even got to eat. How do you not check incoming reservations before deciding to close the kitchen early? And if the restaurant is no longer serving food, why are reservations still being accepted? Beyond disappointing. Completely unprofessional experience from start to finish.

I was a little concerned about some of the reviews but we had such a wonderful experience. A lot of the negative reviews had to do with customer service, and our experience was quite the opposite. We were served everything quickly and attentively, and our main server gave great recommendations and apologized for "waits" when there wasn't even a wait! After we were seated, we asked to be moved to the pretty spacious table next to the large window, and they were happy to accommodate. Giving us a memorable experience seemed to be very important to all of the staff. Drinks - I fell in love with the Dillinger (Old Forrester, Mexican corn whiskey, licor de elote). It tasted like a slightly sweet kettle corn old fashioned. My husband actually ordered it, and traded drinks with me because I loved it so much. Food - We ordered the scallop crudo to share, the house baguette, and French onion soup to share. I'm glad we ordered the scallops and the strawberry pairing was unexpected and interesting. My personal fave was the soup, which our servers kindly split into 2 tureens for us to share (soup is pretty hard to share otherwise, amirite?) It was so delicious that I found myself peeling the extra cheese from the bowl. For mains, I went with the Tagiatelle and husband ordered the steak frites. While the pasta was delicious and rich with flavor, the wagyu was one of the juiciest, most tender and well-seasoned steaks I've had in a while and I'm not even a big steak/red meat lady. Paul just ordered better than me overall! The live jazz band added even more to the beautiful ambiance. You wouldn't be out of place dressing fancy like we did, or even getting up to dance! We went on a thursday night and other guests were mostly french (that's how you know it's locally approved)! The decor was modern chic on the outside and the inside decor was different on the inside- hipster cafe with quotes. The food itself was unbelievable! The pricing is on the higher side but worth it given the taste! We had bone marrow which had a nice buttery flavor; the Beef bourguignon was tender and well flavored; and their house special Black cod (available only for one week) was so flavorful and cooked delicately that it melted in our mouths! It was the best fish we ever tasted and we didn't even know fish could taste like that!!! We also recommend the mango passionfruit lemonade. Not too sweet and tasted very fresh. We also thought it was one of the best and freshest lemonade we ever tasted! Word of note though is that the food portion is on the smaller side for Americans (which is actually normal sized for Europeans). Overall fantastic food! My mouth is watering thinking about it! We sat outside on the patio, which is lovely. Fair warning: it IS outdoors. As in, nature-outdoors. A cricket made a cameo on the wall behind us. Totally fine, just good to know! The vibe is lively and buzzy, which is great, though a little noisy for a group of ten that actually wanted to catch up with each other. Service was so-so. Our server checked in occasionally, but when we actually wanted to order another round of drinks, he was nowhere to be found and had to do some significant amount of watching to find him and get his attention. One thing that worked really well: he took orders by seat, which made checkout shockingly painless. Scan the QR code at the table, select your seat, and all your items are right there. Splitting ten ways was easy. Note: if you're paying via Inkind, you can't split by seat but you can enter your specific amount. Food: * LeBowl: My order and I'm absolutely coming back for this. Grains, veggies, and a surprisingly generous portion of chicken on top. Hearty, fresh, and satisfying. * Hummus appetizer: We got two for the table. The menu says it comes with focaccia... the bread was oiled and toasted and delicious, but I wouldn't call it focaccia. No complaints though! * Wine: Picked one blind off the menu, enjoyed it. Easy win. It is a little pricey... but maybe that's just Los Angeles these days. Parking: There is a big lot in the back. I somehow did not know this and parked a block away. The menu leans toward simple, French-inspired dishes done right rather than anything overly complex. Everything feels fresh, well portioned, and thoughtfully prepared. It is the kind of place where you can order a few items to share and know they will all be solid. The drink selection is another strong point. The wine list is approachable but well curated, and the coffee program holds up for daytime visits. It transitions seamlessly from café to wine bar, which is part of what makes it so versatile.
