Came here for the first time on my lunch break, I ordered a caramel macchiato and.... I really wish I remembered the name of the sandwich I had but it was some kind of breakfast sand which with maple glazed bacon, egg and something else..It was so good. I devoured it! The cafe was so beautiful inside & out. & of course the workers (cashier, etc) were very nice, friendly, welcoming. I will be coming back here one of these days to try out other stuff, & this time I will want to eat outdoor and enjoy the scenic beautiful view of the outside. read more

Tried the avocado toast and an iced caramel macchiato. The avocado toast had cherry tomatoes, sprouts, avocado (of course), pickled red onion, and a dill cream cheese. It was fantastic! A must try. The caramel macchiato was good as well. The cafe has some pre made salads, sandwiches, pastries, cold drinks, etc which are listed on the menu hanging from the ceiling. Really cute place. The prices seemed reasonable and there were many options. The customer service was top tier. I did have a latte and lemon cookie (not pictured) on top of a sandwich. The latte was ehhh but the lemon cookie was AMAZING and the sandwich not great but good. Plenty of nice seating outside and the staff was super friendly. I will start with a positive, the location and setting looks nice at first glance. I thought it would a great, cute spot to take my husband for Father's Day. It goes down from there. When we sat down at the table is was dirty full of crumbs. They do not have side dish options that are kid friendly. The food itself is worse than mediocre, we had to return the steak sandwich because it was not edible. Another customer brought back his steak sandwich because it was horrible. They did not offer to make the situation better. My husband's sandwich came out after we had all already ate our food. They had ran out of turkey and had to get more, the cranberry jam they use was bitter. My husband had to scrape it off because it was so bad. Such a disappointment, we went based on the reviews and that was a huge mistake. The food looks nothing like the pictures and highly overpriced for the quality of the food. I drove several miles out of my way based on the strength of the reviews. Man, what a waste of time and money. It all started with ordering. I was at the counter, but ignored. The young woman behind the counter instead chose to help a man who came in after me. When I finally was able to order, she was short, snappy, bordering on rude. I ordered the avocado toast, banana roll, and the current special coffee (dirty chai). $20 later, and I wait. And wait. I was given the banana roll when I paid. My coffee took over 10 minutes. Turns out, they completely forgot to make the avocado toast. Took another 10 minutes to get that. My banana roll looked nothing like the pictures other people have posted. I doubt it was made today, or even yesterday. The outer layer was stale crunchy, and there was very little flavor at all. The chai was fine. It was a dirty chai. Nothing special enough to charge $7 for it. This got one of the two stars. The avocado toast had zero flavor. The ricotta supposedly had some herbs in it, but I couldn't taste them (and I swear I don't have covid!). The only flavor came from the pickled onions, but it needed a lot more than what I got. The outside patio is nice. Well shaded, comfortable seating. The reason for the second star. I don't know what happened here, but super not worth what I paid or the drive. read more

This is a great little market and eatery connected to Wine & Roses. They open early which is great and super convenient for staying here. They have excellent coffee selections and a great array light breakfast and lunch options. They are also super friendly and will pack up anything for a lunch for your wine expeditions. They also have a very good selection of local wines,snacks etc...right her from Lodi. There coffee is always freshly brewed and they also can make any kind of espresso drink as well. My pleasure wife and I thoroughly enjoy walking over and grabbing a coffee in the mornings and enjoying the amazing landscapes and scenery of Wine & Roses. read more

Very nice spot. Food was okay for lunch. Funny you can't get a glass of wine there with your lunch! My issue is service. We ordered and found a table outside on the patio, which is lovely. I had to go inside to see if our order was ready and someone picked up our order thinking it was theirs. Major confusion. The woman working said she called out my name for the order, however I couldn't hear that outside! She informed me it's a cafe and you pick it up when they call your name !!! But I was outside and you didn't call my name out there!!! I have no problem getting my food but if you have a patio where customers are sitting at least you could stick your head out the door and let me know. read more

WOW! This is my new favorite cafe! The staff was incredibly friendly and the quality of the coffee really impressed me. It's very clear that these baristas are well trained and educated to serve quality drinks. The food was a bit bland which was disappointing, but the coffee and the service made up for it. Relatively new spot in Lodi, CA, conveniently located to the Wine & Visitor's center at Wine & Roses, which has a pleasant and eclectic menu. Aside from new twists on old staples for Breakfast (personal favorite is the Buttermilk Biscuit Sandwich), there is a wide variety of salads and lunch options as well. Coffee is impeccably curated and all is hand-made (sample the Granola!). There's also a Chef's Daily meal, which as the name implies, changes daily and never disappoints. If you're here in the afternoon, there's also a nice rotating selection of microbrews (can/bottle only, no taps, yet...), and of course wine next door. Came in ~7am on a Friday. 3 other people in the cafe and 1 gentleman ordering ahead of me. The barista/cashiers service was perfunctory at best. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but she seemed bother by the fact that there were customers interrupting her morning. Hard to describe in words...mostly I felt unwelcomed/unwanted. I ordered a small cold brew coffee and a smoked salmon tartine. The cold brew was really okay. Granted I wouldn't order it again. The salmon tartine really yummy! The dill cream cheese and pickled red onions were then highlight. Wish they would have spread the cream cheese evenly over the toast and sliced the giant caper into smaller pieces/sprinkled it on top so I could have gotten the "perfect" bite with a little bit of everything. Also it's pricey for what you get. My total was about $20 and I was still hungry afterwards. read more

Amazing food and coffee. Freshly prepared and locally grown. Great place to study or meet up with friends. Staff is extremely kind and willing to accommodate with special orders if they can. I ordered a hot latte and they made an iced one by accident. When I let them know, they apologized and made me the hot drink, and let me keep both. They even threw in a free cinnamon roll, which was super sweet of them. House made almond milk is the best almond milk I've ever had! It's a new cafe, but I've already been several times and each time I go I love it even more. They sell their jam and tea, and also lots of cute merchandise to purchase. read more

Found myself "Stuck (by choice) in Lodi again" and needed a new place to try for my Breve Latte addiction. Towne Corner Cafe & Market didn't disappoint! The baristas know their coffee and it's so nice to get service with a smile! A sincere "how are you" followed by caffeine is always the way to my heart. As to write a fair review I HAD to try the egg white muffin...OMG is all I can say. The crispy cheese bottom and sun-dried tomatoes danced in my mouth! I can't wait to try the other gourmet foods they have available. Salads, sandwiches, fresh pressed juices, all local, seasonal and sustainable! We were driving through town in our RV and stumbled on this cute coffee bar and cafe next to the Lodi visitor center. We both enjoyed the English muffin breakfast sandwich ($6) and the lattes were excellent. We bought a chocolate chip cookie for later and it was excellent. A little pricey but it's not McDonald's and the eggs aren't precooked by the hundreds. Restroom was super clean. Really nice staff and service. read more

Tasty vanilla crepe and banana roll. Cinnamon roll has cream cheese on top. It was different but good. Thy couldn't warm up the cinnamon roll because it wouldn't fit into their oven. It's nice for a couples breakfast. Wouldn't recommend bringing kids. read more

Went to try this place today for breakfast. DISAPPOINTED to say, the least, I had gotten avocado toast, which fell apart every bite you took I also got a Chia pudding, which was not very good but that was my first time ever trying that to be fair. I picked up a fruit parfait thinking it's a safe bet if I don't like anything else i'm trying. Boy was I WRONG, when i'm telling you the greek yogurt was so expired & sour I couldn't even swallow my first bite with out having to spit it out & rinse my mouth out. I am so angry I paid $37 and ended up with an expired Parfait that could have made me very sick. It was the worst Parfait I have ever tasted how can you mess up a Parfait, and yes it has an EXP date on it today is 9/17 it was dated for 9/21 so they really need to watch what they are serving because it was insanely sour & defiantly expired. Also they are very slow at service I had to wait 20 minutes for a piece of Avocado toast. The environment is very high strung & make you feel uncomfortable, all the vibes are just not there. People stare at you & the employees were semi nice but not very friendly. I really do not recommend this place. I don't like writing review but I feel people should know the experience I had. Ok, this is a complicated review and stars are based on high prices. The location itself is beautiful and the interior looks like a cooking TV show set. There is outside seating with shade and it shares an entrance with the Lodi wine tasting room. They serve coffee drinks as well as other bottled/canned drinks. There are a few pre-made salads and displays of sandwiches which are made fresh. There is a small selection of baked goods and they look really good. I tried the banana roll (kinda like banana nut bread) and it was awesome. The sandwiches run around $12 and up which is very high considering they don't include any sides. If they would expand their menu and lower their prices they might just become a local destination rather than a try it once because it's new place. read more

Hate to see a place I love not have the 5 stars it deserves! I've been to Towne Corner a lot since they opened and I just moved in across the street so it's become my main coffee joint. So nice to walk the dog over and sit on their spacious patio with lots of seating. The inside is gorgeous as well and always very clean. The food is outstanding - I've tried the breakfast sandwich and various toasts and they were all great but my new go to is the honey bran muffin and a fruit cup. Their baked goods are insane! Try any muffin, scone, or the amazing cinnamon rolls and you will not be disappointed. Absolutely love the coffee and espresso there too, and the almond milk made in house by their chef! The prices are a little high but it is Wine and Roses and I think it's worth it for the quality and ambiance. read more

Looked delicious in through the window. Staff asked if I would like it warmed up. I said sure! I think they forgot. The roll wasn't warm at all and it was stale. The only saving grace was there was plenty of frosting on top! My husband had the egg salad sandwich. He said it was ok. We also ordered 2 cappuccinos. Total for the 4 items was $26.
