The weather was beautiful, so we were able to sit outdoors. I ordered the coconut shrimp, and it came out in a coconut shell! That meal has lived rent free in my mind ever sense. I tried a bite of my mom's meal and husband's meal, and both were absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were generous.

You can tell that the waiters love what they're doing and all help each other. This place is by the lagoon so every table is a picture-taking location. But be careful of the crocodilo... of course, it's by the lagoon. The place itself is clean.. and the lagoon is clear water too. Now the food... it's as simple as, I can dine in this place everyday! It's not that expensive but the presentation, the service and the taste is like a 5-star fine dining restaurant. Even the drinks! I ordered their clam chowder (you can see in the attached video on how they served it), lobster tail wrapped with bacon, my hubby ordered salad (which was also excellent presentation), and steak. Let's not forget the chips that is on the house with 3 different taste buds sauces... tamarind (sweet), avocado (salty) and chipotle (spicy). Love love love! I should say, your visit in Cancun is not complete without visiting this excellent restaurant!

The setup is interesting. You order at the counter, grab a table, and they find you to deliver your food, bring extras, and handle the bill at the end. Not your typical airport situation. I personally was not brave enough for airport sushi, so I went with the yakisoba and a strawberry tequila drink. Yakisoba was just okay, maybe a 3 out of 5. It did the job but nothing memorable. The drink, though, was a 5 out of 5. Super refreshing and exactly what you want before a flight. My friend went for the sushi and she loved it, said it tasted really fresh, even said it was some of the best she has had. Not a bad stop if you have time to kill before your flight, especially if you're in the mood for a drink.

We had a little over an hour to kill and we wanted to eat and have a couple drinks before it was time to board. We love sushi and we love tequila, so we thought it was a no-brainer! Service was quick and friendly, I will say that. We got a couple of double margs and those were yummy and the pours were solid. We got a California Roll and the Kimchi Ramen to start. The roll was sadly not great and we both only had a piece or two and moved on. The Kimchi Ramen was SOLID, I will say that! My husband loves kimchi so he was all about this. We ended up still being hungry so we also got the Chicken Ramen which a little lackluster in comparison to the Kimchi. Now, our shock and surprise came with the bill... After tip it was $180 which is INSANE work for an airport meal. We've spent that much on more upscale date nights back home so we were absolutely shocked. Definitely wouldn't have went in there with the intention to spend that much, but lesson learned!

I was looking for decent airport food while waiting for my flight back to the United States from Cancun (after a relaxing stay at the @joiabyiberostar Paraíso). What I found was a surprisingly delicious eatery providing tourists with the final flavors of the Yucatán. The colors and textures of the eatery are intended to remind tourists as much of the warmth and coziness of a hacienda as one can get from a food stall in an airport. Hacienda serves breakfast in addition to lunch and dinner specialties. This is not an eatery to enjoy if your plane is about to board--there was a fifteen-minute wait before the food was ready. I ordered the: Cochinita Tacos (Yucatán-style barbecued pork with pickled red onion) Lime Soup (chicken broth, sofrito, sour lime) Agua de Chaya (leafy perennial shrub native to the peninsula) Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. I am already planning a trip to the area this year. Usually someone who doesn't like to wait long at the airport, I will definitely make time to experience the panuchos, salbutes, and Motuleño-style eggs. It's rare that one is excited to eat airport food.

My wife and I needed something quick during our last trip however and we were both very surprised at how good the food and service was. We didn't have to wait in line after one of the servers heard we needed to get going quickly, which was very nice of them. I had a double cheeseburger with their burger sauce. The burgers were cooked perfectly. It tasted like a homemade grilled burger. Fries also came out hot and crispy. Overall a very unexpected, but good experience.

I didn't see his burger option on the menu (sadly), so I opted for a different burger and some onion rings. When it was time to cash out, the bill was $26!!!!! Hard pass!!!!! So, I opted for only the onion rings. And those were still $11 on their own!!!!! There was nothing fancy about the onion rings. The portion size was decent, but the onion rings weren't seasoned and tasted a bit greasy, even though they weren't greasy to the touch. They were crispy, but not that hot. I wish I could say I enjoyed them, but sadly I didn't. I'm upset I wasted the money.
